Fury's Toll | MotD

With the fiery arrows and icy ones, the great beast goes down!

Uirch expresses his intent to go home, and leaves, now that the temple is fully explored and the reaver dead.

Well that was anticlimactic. Just like when I ran IRL.

Aeris scans the battlefield for threats, slowly lowering his bow. ”That’s it? I guess we go report that we’re done, eh?”

I didn’t think the reaver would last long, and it sure didn’t.

Arriving late to the battle, Truk gives the defeated Reaver a swift kick.

"Nice work everyone! That guy was nasty alright."

"You leave him alone, Truk! Poor little reaver!" Nana swoops down on Kevin, dismounts, and strokes the dead beast.

"He was just defending his home. He didn't know he was tainted! All those stupid stupid orcs forcing him to fight, trying to make him a weapon for their own ends! It's their fault! It's all their fault, theirs and the stupid dawn lady what tainted him!"

"Mephits! come to Nana! Kernuffle, you too."

Surrounded by her menagerie, Nana cuddles the reaver, her tears falling onto its broken flesh.

"That is no poor creature, but an abomination of the natural world." Rufeo says as he shifts back into his natural form. He then looks over to the rest. "We have the artifact yes. Then lets head back"

Fury's Toll | MotD

Upon your return to Roslar’s Coffer with the helmet and news of the red reaver’s defeat, the residents of the outpost are ecstatic. They begin collecting the red flags from the trees, pinning them to their tunics over their hearts and draping them from their windows. As the day wears on, the flags are pulled down and set alight in a huge bonfire in the town square. Talk abounds about reclaiming old homes and contacting old neighbors and family who left the area. The people declare the day a new local holiday to be celebrated every year.

Gorm greets the you outside the inn. He shakes your hands, and after receiving the helmet from you he treats them to a great feast at his expense. He also rewards you handsomely in gifts for the helmet, and gazes at it often during the feast, examining its markings, occasionally making notes between bouts of merriment. Your rewards include two intricately carved rings each worth 500 gp and a +1 coat pistol. Additionally, he offers a scholar’s ring, a collapsible tower, and a clear spindle ioun stone.

After a night’s rest at the Toothless Pike, you receive word from Ollysta Zadrian. She is working with Shevar Besnik to bring a number of refugees from Roslar’s Coffer back to the area along with a number of soldiers from Three Pine’s Ford and should arrive in a few days to begin securing the Bastion.

Reporting Notes:
A: Uirch survived the adventure (true)
B: The PCs desecrated or destroyed the font in area A6 (false)

Primary Success:
Slaying the red reaver and bringing Gorm Greathammer the helmet from the Bastion of Light completes the Pathfinder Society’s primary goals at Roslar’s Coffer.

Secondary Success:
Three of the following:
- Harvest fungal spores (false)
- Reliquary is undamaged (true)
- Shrine was activated (true)
- Font not desecrated or destroyed (true)
(secondary success)

However, without all four, you do not get the "preservationist" boon on the chronicle.

Faction: Silveer Crusade
Healing Uirch and allowing him to leave without threat of violence constitutes an act befitting the values of spreading good and defending the weak at the core of the Silver Crusade faction.
Silver Crusaders get Argent Allies of the Burning Sun boon.

---------
I will get your chronicles done tonight.
