I really don't know much more about the oath. If I were you I would go ask Brandur Clovesh, oh wait, he died With a sudden hitch in her speech she takes a moment. You must check on my friend Ramyla. Please check on her. I sent her a letter explaining my situation and I might have put her in danger. You could also speak to Pemak at Pemak's Tinctures. She always seems to know what is happening around town. That makes me nervous.

Timinic leaves the room, but returns quickly with a stack of papers. Here, did you want my sketches of the sewers? I tried to make a map and keep track of all of the strange comings and goings I saw down there. I started at the Distillery and worked my way out from there.

Super reluctant to leave this guy alone...I mean if we were really hired to protect an agent wouldn't we leave at least one of our own to stay and protect this gnome? I mean Im pretty much getting the clue of the adventure..follow this bread crumb to that ect...but...um does this make any sense to u all either? Are any of you inclined to leave the gnome unguarded?

Dave nods in sad agreement, To be truthful...I too would feel doubts if I were in your position... but, let me assure you Pathfinders take care of their own...If you like I will stay here and guard you until it's time to move you. The others can go and investigate this assassin's whereabouts...and perhaps shed some light on this situation... Dave looks to the others his mind made up... But, please reconsider your decision to break ties with the Pathfinders...I think you'll find Pathfinders among the more powerful allies any person can have.

Nodding sagely, Yangrit concurs: "Hmm... Yes. Timinic, come with us. There will be safety in numbers. Besides, Ramyla will be more likely to trust us quickly if you are with us. Bernard happily accompanied the group to the distillery. It was worth investigating make sure that he was safe. At least now we know. Splitting up is always a bad idea, we should have convined him to come with us.

You move through the town again, this time on your way to Pemak's Tinctures.

You reach the site of Pemak's shop in the ramshackle tenements of the marketplace. A wooden sign depicting a flask of blue liquid hangs over the door of this cramped building. A faint aroma of burning vinegar wafts from the windows, which remain open despite the sleet.

Refer to slide 2 for map. You are outside Pemak's tent. It is the one in the lower right of the map.

"I'm still worried about Timinic. He seemed really panicky and nervous - I think he might make a run for it. If he does, there's a chance that we'll never see him again, and he's probably the only witness to whatever is causing this horrible chain of murders we're witnessing." Uhr fishes out a piece of dried badger-meat from his coat pocket and chews on it moment. "Maybe we should split up. Half of us could return to the safehouse, to make sure that he doesn't run away while we're investigating this merchant."

Dave snorts, The gnome insisted he was safe...As for myself, I'm tired of being led around by the nose! Dave draws one of blades to demonstrate his purpose. As far as I'm concerned, this mission transformed from one of escort and protection to one of retribution as soon as someone murdered one of ours.. Dave spits seemingly disgusted with the whole mess.

No I say we finish this! An eye for eye! Let's send a message to all would-be poisoners and assassins that, Pathfinder justice awaits those who deem to murder our kin! Dave looks directly at Uhr and says (in a sneer), Go run to the gnome's safe house, if you've not got the stomach for what's coming. Dave sniffs the air a couple of times before entering the building. Same smell of vinegar that wafted out of our three poisoned victims last breathes...grr..my guess..this is our assassin's supplier and therefore, the last connection to him or her.

Dave walks to the front door without using any subterfuge. His shortsword already in his off hand...Dave draws his long sword and turns to the others saying, I'm going, 'off script' here fellow Pathfinders..I'm going to ask this Poison maker who he made the poisons for ...and I'm not going to ask nicely! then without warning Dave kicks the door trying to force it open! str check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

The longer Dave speaks, the wider Yangrit's eyes become. He's going off the deep end! She begins trying to reason with him as he begins kicking down the door. Her voice is harsh and condecending, tumbling out rapidly, and towards the end of her speech, it is clear that she's rapidly losing her patience.

"Dave, think first! We know at least Bosk and Brandeur both drank a potion of delay poison. That could be the smell we smelled. The assassin wouldn't want to eliminate their supplier, but would want to kill anyone who makes their job harder. --Dave! Come on! Listen to me! Pemak may not be an enemy! Oh for gosh sakes! At least try the handle first!" Yangrit quickly reaches over to try the door's handle in between his kicks.
