No dragon. I have taken enough of a beating at this point.
Holly drops into unconsciousness from Eshimka's final blow before being brought back by all of the healing magic being bandied about.
She rises from the dirt and dusts herself off. "Okay, I could have done without all of that and I am glad to see that we all appear to have survived this latest brush with death and avoided another end of the world type event." She pulls a flask out from a hip pouch and takes a swig before passing it over to Fandral.
Fandral takes the flask graciously."Well that was fun. I think i am done after this. After saving the World from a B**** like that. What else is there to do." He then holds up the flask for anyone else. "Holly, I have extra bunk space on my ship if you ever choose to retire from exploring."

Seeing Eshimka lying on the ground, you limp away from the fighting with the satisfaction of knowing that you struck a mighty blow for the forces of good this day. There is still some fighting going on around you, but it looks mostly to be wiping up the tattered remnants of the former undead horde.
Congratulations! You took on a CR 16 Nightwalker with a diminished party, and lived AND triumphed! You guys should be very proud of that accomplishment! We'll just wait until the wrap-up and then I will get chronicles out to you. In the meantime, please check that I have your PFS numbers and any dayjob rolls (with re-rolls if you still have them) and anything else I need to note on the chronicle. Good job, players and thank you for making this a memorable game!
"That does sound a lovely way to spend life. Hopefully you will avoid the rough seas while we float about." Holly says while taking her flask back.
This was Holly's final mission for the society.
Same. I went half speed for a few games just so this would be Fandral's finale.
"Get a room, lovebirds," the wizard grumps at the pair while he turns away from them to start to start reorganizing his spell reagents so as to conceal his reactions to such things.
This is a good capstone scenario for retirement, that is for sure! Had fun, thanks everyone for playing!
"Only if I were to be so lucky" Fandral says with a smirk and a wink in Holly's direction.
"Oh luck has nothing to do with it." Holly grins back.
She turns to look at Yami. "Yami, we have rooms on board Fandral's ship." she says with a smirk. "It should be a rather lovely voyage. You are of course welcome to come along if you wish."
A screeching wail cuts across the battlefield as Eshimka falls to her knees, her undead horde routed to all sides by the combined Pathfinder and Twinhorn forces. The nightshade cries out in anger and dismay, “No! How could mortal worms like these strike me down?”
As if answering the question, Medda strides forward, battered and bleeding before her blessed armor begins to glow brighter and brighter. Cast in the shadow of a nearby standing stone, the dwarven apparition of the paladin warrior Ivvora seems to mirror Medda’s movements and guide her steps. As one they respond, “Eshimka, this battle began a millennium ago, and it ends tonight. Vildeis has judged you and found you wanting”. Producing a dagger of white fire in one hand, Medda and Ivvora both plunge their blades into the undead giant’s chest. Eshimka’s mouth opens in a silent scream as light pours from her eyes, mouth, and the wounds inflicted by the Pathfinders. The nightshade’s body crumbles into ash that the wind scatters across the snow, and the dying rift at last closes.
The towering dwarven ghost salutes the gathered heroes and announces, “You have all proved yourself worthy of Vildeis’ attention. Pathfinders, you have defeated a great evil, so let your tale of your bravery shatter your enemies’ courage while bolstering your own. Medda and Anok, you have made me proud and finished what I could not. Go with Vildeis’s blessing, and keep vigilant—evil never rests.” Ivvora smiles and looks up to the stars as she fades away and the blessed armor returns to its normal sheen.
Medda looks to the champions surrounding her. “Everyone, I cannot put into words how grateful I am to all of you. You have stood by my side through all these hardships, and at last we have triumphed! Eshimka is forever destroyed, and we the Twinhorn following have found true allies in the Pathfinder Society. Call on us in your hour of need, and we shall come to your aid. For now though, the danger has passed.” She and Anok give one last look to where the planar scar is already healing.
“Let us celebrate at last.”
Scenario (and series) concluded. Thanks for playing, everyone, and thanks for all your hard work, GMs!
Holly gives everyone a hearty handshake and her sincere thanks for a job well done before joining in celebration of their victory. She breaks out her flute to help provide music to the festivities
As the celebration winds down Holly once again locates Fandral. She whispers in his ear. "It is time for us to go and enjoy our well deserved rest." She turns one last time to address those she is leaving behind. Speaking up she says "I wish you all the best in the coming months and years. Perhaps our paths may yet cross again but if they don't then I wish you fair winds and following seas." With that said she links arm and arm with Fandral and walks off.
