    Both Pinesong and Croak are able to avoid being attacked as they move into position, though neither of them are able to make full use of their new positions. Both Acrobatics checks were enough to successfully tumble, but neither attack hit.

    Sereia doesn't miss this time, her trident striking true and dropping the man unmoving on the floor. Lomo and Pinesong both attack the woman in blue, but neither is able to connect. She responds by attacking Lomo, then steps back, edging away from the onslaught.

    Croak hurries along the bar then hopes up onto it (I moved so I don't provoke). As she goes she pulls out her flail. Then she swirls it over her head and tries to whack the blue lady with it!

    Sorry, I messed that up. She shouldn't have been able to act until after Croak, and thus would not have stepped back until then. I adjusted Croak into position to attack where she would have been at the time of Croak's attack. She then attacked and stepped back 5ft (in my last post) into the position everyone is in now.

    At this point, once you've freed the slaves here, it's just a matter of collecting the information you found in the other building and escorting the slaves (and your prisoners) back to the lodge. You've found everything you've come for. You can either sneak past the guard outside (I won't make you roll for it, you can just time your movement to avoid hers) or fight her and her dogs, your choice.

    Sereia pockets the loot and helps free the prisoners. Once they're all ready, and have collected all the evidence, she works with the others to guide them past the guard with the dogs.

    Sounds good. You have documents, freed slaves, and prisoners (currently guarded by goblins). Who/what do you want to take where/to who (Roderus, Wulessa, and Yigrig are all likely to be interested in some or all of that.

    Pinesong is sure to bring along Vinius Borr too!

    He tells the people they freed that he knows someone who can keep them safe, make sure the people who took them are punished, and make sure they get back home, but they need to make a pitstop before they see him.

    He will bring everyone to see Yigrig, with the plan to give Yigrig the evidence they promised him to free Zig. (Or if they don't all want to go there then he will give the goblins the evidence so they can bring it to Yigrig). Then he plans to take everyone to see Roderus. He thinks that Roderus needs the peoples testimony and evidence and even Vinius' to properly punish Dulm. And he also thinks that Roderus will help the people get home safe or give them protection if they need it.

    Sorry for not getting a post up yesterday. My day really got away from me.

    The captives look nervous, but agree to Pinesong’s plan. You pause for a moment before crossing back to the northern building, timing your passage to avoid the roaming guard and her hounds. You collect the evidence and Vinius from the goblins’ care, and your whole retinue makes a successful escape from the compound.

    Your goblin friends scamper ahead, and arriving back at the Fine Traders you find Yigrig ready to usher you inside and out of sight of the street. ”Well, my friends, I hear you’ve had an eventful evening! And you even brought our friend Ms. Borr with you, how nice! I suspect her testimony will go a long ways towards freeing poor Zig, isn’t that right Vinius?” Borr looks miserable, but sullenly nods.

    With the Goblins’ help, you escort the rescued captives and the captive Vinius back to Roderus’ lodge, where cleanup is mostly complete from the party. Roderus agrees to help transport them safely back home to Absalom as his last act as Venture Captain. He also agrees, once the evidence has been presented, that young Zig should go free and Vinius should take his place in jail for her part in the plot. She tells all she knows about Dulm, and a warrant is issued for his arrest, though he seems to have slipped out of town during the night. Roderus also uses the evidence to have Dulm formally expelled from the Pathfinder Society.

    Wulessa and Yigrig, meanwhile, have a long conversation, the result of which is a new mutually-beneficial partnership is formed between Yigrig’s business and the local Pathfinder lodge, now headed by Wulessa. A grateful Yigrig gives you a chime of opening as a symbolic gift for freeing the slaves, and tells you to call on him should you ever need help in this town.

    That’s the end! Thanks for playing, I had a lot of fun just like I knew I would with this group. I’ll get your chronicle sheets up later today.
