Normal salamanders are tough, intelligent creatures who radiate heat like furnaces, causing damage through metal weapons that they wield and to anyone who touches them. They're strongly militaristic. Most of them worship Flauros, a demon lord of salamanders, which puts them in conflict with Ymeri, the elemental lord ruler of the City of Brass.</p>
<p>The larger, leader salamander is what's known as a <i>noble</i> salamander. Noble salamanders are better inherently than normal salamanders, and also have command of fire-based magic, including the ability to summon a fire elemental and to burn away the spells of their enemies by dispelling them. </p>
<p>The law in the city of Brass is not very strong, considering the size and population of the city, and many visitors are relatively weak compared to the elemental inhabitants of the city. Luckily, his new allies are there to support him, and eventually the crushing rocks are lifted and Terex crawls free from the last of the suffocating rubble.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, during this time, a group of five red-skinned, snake-bodied humanoids approaches from down an alleyway. One of them, larger and more regal than the others, slithers forward and throws forward a verbal challenge: <b>"Ah, a pack of Material creatures, lost and alone?"</b> he asks teasingly. <b>"No guide to protect you. And so covered in valuables! How fortunate for us!"</b> </p>

His claws are unwieldy, and ill suited for moving large amounts of stone, but Sir Crunchies stout, multi-legged body helps him carry more than an average humanoid... With some creative usage of his innate <i>Levitate</i> spell to help move the rubble, Sir Crunchy begins working.</p>
