No, that won't be necessary. You'll just have to specify which character is doing what action when posting.

Well, I am thinking that maybe we should throw in the towel.
I am having trouble figuring out how to run two characters, especially sporadically. And the overall story thread (which is excellent) is a little too much for me to keep up with by myself.
Have you considered setting up a new game? I’ve been playing for you for an insane number of years, in PbP time.

I suppose we could have Dr. Mayfield simply go completely mad, and you could concentrate on playing Nils.
But it also true that plot threads kinda unspooled on me as well.
I've got some rules for one-on-one play; would you be interested in trying that? I would probably be running it after the holidays, if you wanted I could email you when I was ready.
Here's the rules: its pretty much a variant of the system used in the 'Loch Fenn' game.

I think that I would like the one-on-one game. The Loch Fenn campaign was a lot of fun, and plus I like the idea of combining noir with Cthulhu. So yeah, let's give you time to put together the story, and we can start during or after holidays... whenever works for you.
