I've marked "A2a" on the map, at this point there is a wood and iron ladder leading up to the rafters. It is safe to climb, and Dc5. But you do need to roll again for both of those and take the lowest. Oh, and you have 80ft of movemnet to make to get to the ladder, then 20ft up.... s


Any other actuions while we wait for Pular's other rolls?

DM, is there any place on the lower floor that is under cover relative to the upper floor?


Not that you can easily make out. It's difficult to see what's up in
the rafters, but the only real way to get cover would be to retreat.

Shiiru looks up into the rafters and curses. "I lost them." He looks again, searching to see if he can find them, then fires into the rafters again.

Move Action to intentionally search for stimulus. Standard Ray of Frost: I'll do this even if the 18 isn't enough to find them, just firing blindly, so maybe a percentage chance to catch the right square?

Attack vs Touch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Eh, doesn't matter. It won't hit even if I do find them.
Cold Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Shiiru spots the creatures, but unfortunately trips over one of the pews as he takes the shot with a ray, and misses the spot completely.

Arian hunkers down and points toward the ladder with her glaive, then tilts her head questioningly.

Sense Motive DC 15:
She is checking to see when Viridi is ready to make a break for the ladder.

I'm leaning on the Bluff rules for sending hidden messages, which say that it's DC 15 for a simple message and DC 20 for a complex message. Arian isn't deliberately hiding anything, but I'm using these rules to approximate Viridi trying to read her body language.

As soon as Viridi moves, Arian moves with her, heading toward the ladder in hopes that the whole team can somehow get up into engagement range.

Yes, just one ladder.

Could I have co-ordinates for everyone when they move please so I can update the map. Pular, you will stay the same for the moment, despite being at the top of the ladder....

Pular has scurried to the top of the ladder, and Nasir follows, Viridi and Arian manage to subtly communicate but don't yet make a move. Faulk fires his arrow, but is again wide of the mark.

Meanwhile another rain of arrows falls following a soft scuffling from above. Viridi, Shiiru and Faulk take 1 HP each of damage.

Which puts us back to the top, and Shiiru.

I guess Viridi and I are heading to the ladder this turn then?Viridi to the square with the ladder, me one square to the west of her.

As Arian and Viridi move, Arian keeps her glaive-guisarme at guard, trying to knock away any more arrows.

Aid Viridi AC: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13

Viridi gets a +2 AC bonus as we move to the ladder.

What second roll? I don't know what you're asking.


You are in the Pugwami bad luck aura. Every d20 roll has to be made twice and take the lowest result. You only rolled once for the roll I quoted.

I’m not really sure who’s turn it is or what round it is, but if you’re waiting for me.

Nasir contiunes to climb up the ladder so he can get within striking distance of any Pugwampis.


I am waiting as well as I think I am at the top of the ladder, but I do not know what I see.

From post 372 Round 4, Shiiru has made their action, so Pular up, but they need some description first.

Pular:
A thin balcony overlooks the chapel floor some twenty feet below. Two rows of tall-backed wooden choir chairs dominate the southern reach of the balcony, which hugs the chapel’s concave walls. The balcony falls away—collapsed for a span of perhaps fifteen feet—just on the other side of the choir area. To the east, rickety time-worn wooden rafters stretch across the whole chapel. The Rafters

Ok, that hopefully makes sense, at the top of the ladders you are on a new map, which is the upper bit. You can see the remaining 5 Pugwampi.

The lines form low walls that create separate areas, and some cover. Towards the bottom left of the map the area is full height walls, so you cannot see into it.


We seem to have ground to a halt. I'm probably not around too much over the weekend either, but I will try, to get things flowing.

Don't worry about posting your actions in order, but do try not to post twice for the same round.

Pular on the ladders is a bit of a bottleneck, so it would be good to get his action, which should be possible after reading the last spoiler.


Pular keeps to the shadows as she creeps forward to try and take one of the creatures by surprise.

Pular:
B4 wouldn't be close enough to any of them to attack, in melee, so are you throwing the dagger? The cover provided by the low walls means you can't sneak attack, and you only rolled one roll for sneak, I need two. Some of them see you anyway, but how many will be determined by if the second roll is higher or lower..

All of the Pugwampi stop as the beam you are moving across shifts and groans loudly, two of them redirect their small bopws at you, the rest continue to fire down at the people below.

I'd still like to know your Size category, it matters up here depending where you move.

Shiiru takes aim and fires at another of the foul creatures. A burst of cold and a ray of blue flies into the rafters.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Cold Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3


As Shiiru moves to angle their burst, a small item falls from a puoch, catches under foot and he trips, causing the icy blast to streak against a far wall and cause no damage.

That depends where you go, post a location you are moving to and I'll let you know if I need one.
