For the purpose of how my character will act and work, I would like to know what you guys would prefer for my spirit choice? It seems we have healing and damage output well covered, as well as bulk.

Ideal Choices: Archmage (Arcane Caster with a fair number of 1st and 2nd level spells per day), Marshal (Works a lot like a bard that can't take standard actions but gives the party a pretty good buff with no rounds per day limit. Works on Saves or Attack Rolls.), or Trickster (High skill coverage, sneak attacker, and has disable device even though my perception is nothing to write home about.)

I say go for the Archmage. We seem to be a bit deficient in that area, but it's up to you.

(2) I have been waiting patiently for people to have picked up the fact that the lady had mentioned that something had been trying to break into a room that she was afraid to add one of the discs in case whatever was in there needed them all.

(3) I understand people desiring Roleplay, but to force others to play the way you want is not encouraged in any way shape or form by PFS. In fact, telling others how they are supposed to play their characters is strictly explained as not being allowed.

Petrokk: You're clearly unhappy about what's going on. I'm struggling a but to understand why (but that could be my cold dimming my wits), but clearly there's a problem.

LOL! not where I was going with that, but since you mentioned it: there's also passages forbidding spoiling adventures...if the player or character has prior knowledge.

So since I'm not inclined..to investigate what your doing or why...I'll acquiesce to the "PFS rules" (as I must) and step aside both in character and out.

WED Dec 5th:

"The central chamber is all sealed up; we haven't gotten in, yet." Diaz explains over the rhythmic pounding sound that has continued since you entered. "There's a crack in the wall, though, big enough to slip the disks through. We put the ones we had in so that they can be protected by the Starwatcher Spirit inside."

Sun Dec 9:

"You see it too!" She seems to relax a bit. "Good, that means the so-called "Starwatcher Spirit" hasn't gotten to you yet! I had been under its scheming sway, but when I brushed up against that ivory sphere, the dust seemed to dispel the effect. If I were you, I'd stay away from that crack in the wall--I think it was when we looked into it that we came under the thing's sway. Then that thing convinced Juliet to put the discs in? Nuh-uh, not this one, anyway." She clutches protectively at her satchel. "I don't want to know what happens when that thing gets its hands on all these discs." She glances nervously toward the source of the pounding. "I'm worried we may find out anyway if that stupid monolith succeeds in breaking into the central chamber."

Yesterday:

Touching the dust, your hand glows with a pale blue energy, and a feeling of lawful righteousness suffuses through you. Juliet is at first a bit hesitant, given her first impression of you, but Petrok wisely stays out of sight and with a little convincing she is willing to allow the holy aasimar to apply medicine to her. When the dust touches her forhead, the pale blue energy seems flow into her, and her eyes widen. "Oh! Oh, no!" She shakes her head to clear it. "Oh, what have we done? That thing, the spirit...it's not what I thought it was. I think it's dangerous, and here we are giving it those discs! Who knows what it wants them for? Please, you have to investigate. I don't want to fall under its sway again, but you all seem strong, maybe you can resist!"

Continuing storyline is presenting the course of action. I have never, ever metagamed with any of my characters in any game. I started playing/GM'ing 1st ED. Ad&d back in 1988. I don't have any prior knowledge of this session and would not act on it if I did. I find the mere mention that I may be doing so offensive.

OK without trying to ruffle anyone's feathers...I'd ask each player to consider.."What there character would do if they knew one of there own was en-spelled by the enemy? Would you simply invite them to come along with all there weapons and the freedom to interfere at a key moment?"

I would think to ignore that Pethwen is enchanted by an outsider trying to escape is tantamount to ...
