A pool of glowing green liquid that smells like rotting flesh dominates this massive chamber. Long, metallic tentacles writhe around the edge of the pool, like snakes searching for prey.
Steward says, "The metallic tentacles are programmed to grab any organic matter that comes within reach and dunk it in the pool until it dissolves...that might be a problem for you."

This chamber is a shallow pool. The bottom is lined with a glittering layer of liquid metal.
"This liquid breaks down dead and inorganic material." Steward says.
You see a layer of liquefied metal at the bottom, and see that many of the objects are already liquefied and unsalvageable.

Yeah, they automatically attack once you're in range, then turn off if they don't hit.
“Many soldier automatons are stored within. They may be dormant, or may not. I advise proceeding cautiously.” Steward says as Barm opens the door.
Every space along the walls of this large storage chamber consists of tall, vertical sockets of human-like size and shape. Some lie empty, but most are occupied—no fewer than twelve automaton soldiers stare blankly out from the sockets into the chamber. Four are much larger than the others, standing as tall as ogres in oversized receptacles in the center of each wall. The door to the southwest is guarded by faint arcs of electricity, like widely spaced bars across the mouth of the alcove. At infrequent intervals the arcs brighten and fade.

Regnum doesn't see any kind of control system for these guys, but he quickly calculates the automatons patrol patterns, realizing it wouldn't be too hard to sneak past these robots and get to the door across the room.
You can all attempt stealth checks with a bonus from Regnum's perception if you want to try and sneak past them all.

With Regnum's bullet and Barm's sword slice, the construct goes down. Barm notices that the construct is made of a similar material as his sword, but his weapon still cuts through like butter.
Arcana is the correct skill Saint Gudule has no clear idea what these are, but they are very similar to the emerald robots from earlier floors. The main difference is that they are bigger. Either way, he blesses his party with Fervor!
Baied makes Trutzburg's weapon better aim for weak points in creatures.
The remaining constructs swivel and turn to face Barm as he pulls his sword from the fallen construct. They move towards him, guisarmes aimed to kill.

So heads up about the stairs to floor 9. You can take them, but you'll only have completed less than half of the module so you'll only get half credit (slow track), but its definitely an option if you want a natural slow track floor.
Walk down some stairs, see a statue, walk down some more stairs, suddenly find gold and experience for doing some cardio.

Yes, but we have to slow track a certain number of floors anyway in order to stay in range for the last 6. If you scroll up to my list there, I have to start slow tracking all of them at floor 10 if we don't slow track any before that point.

Yeah, that oathbreakers die game is also pretty brutal with that CON and STR damage.
Some PFS info on bringing you back:
Players are permitted to spend character gold to help a party member purchase spellcasting services such as raise dead or remove disease. This includes pooling money to buy breath of life or raise dead scrolls or potions for use in the game.
You can buy raise dead using 16 PP, 5,450 gp, or 8 PP and 2,450 gp
Raise Dead:
Coming back from the dead is an ordeal. The subject of the spell gains two permanent negative levels when it is raised, just as if it had been hit by an energy-draining creature...A raised creature has a number of hit points equal to its current HD. Any ability scores damaged to 0 are raised to 1. Normal poison and normal disease are cured in the process of raising the subject, but magical diseases and curses are not undone.
So, a Raise Dead spell would still leave you at 1 CON, but Saint Gudule can recover that damage pretty easily, especially since you have nearly unlimited time to finish a floor.
