The Blood wars soldier was coming out of Rosa again. To her this was just like keeping a unit intact and focused. Keep to the plan and keep going.

Lidras saw the canines while on his watch. He didn’t quite mind. Hounds were rarely an issue anymore. They were just an annoyance. As long as they stayed away then all was well and good. When his shift was over, he told those on the next watch to keep an eye out for them.

Rosa sits some of 1st watch and all of second, she did so, with ease as she only needed a couple of hours rest a night, and studying the unholy book took only an hour longer.

One of the fireflies glows magically and has a rune on it.

It seems that any metal object weighing less than 5 lbs. lifts from the ground for a few seconds. Then it stops, daggers and the other items drop to the ground blade first...

The grass moves about 100 feet off. As if it is a blanket. The form that is holding up the grass is looking the other way.

But later, when the grass begins to move away, he is truly alarmed, and begins waking the others. ”Get up! Something strange is going on.”

Annwyn wakes up, mildly annoyed at the disturbance, and looks around, making no sound or barely even moving.

Serill, the bug is an automaton and with your knowledge of the arcane you believe the word is 'fire' in Draconic. It should stay with you for now and give you fire resistance 2.

The figure does not move even at Grod's announcement. Act as you will.

Rosa strokes the hounds, feeding what scraps she has belt pouches.
She checks they are all healthy, healing them if they are hurt.

"Theres good boys, here have some of this, yes you want it, yes you do. Now what are you doing all the way out here, pups."

She says as she pasts and fusses over them.


A few of the hounds were hurt but they all seem in good health besides the few wounds. The hell hounds respond positively towards Rosa but are unable to communicate. They whine a bit but seem happy to have her as a companion.

Davian rightfully so, keeps a good distance away from the hellhounds, probably just within the light of the campfire.

The group stands ready, most of them see the lump especially with Grod's pointing weapon accentuating the direction of the figure. It does not move.

You notice some movement from the other direction of the figure. You believe some invisible things are that way.

Rosa keeps going up wards. If anything is attacking them from under the ground she wanted distance and up was the fastest way to get it.


The hell hounds whine as Rosa ascends up into the air.

She pulls out her Silent Whistle from her pouch and blows it, to get the hounds to come to her.

Rosa seeing the hounds not running off when she took off, but now waiting. Descends once more and land some way from the group and the lump in the grass.

After she lands she pulls out a Silent Whistle from her pouch and blows it. She knows the hounds hear her and she hopes they will come to her and away from the attack from under the ground.

Lidras, that is not a readied action, you need an if/when then statement. If the red bird lands on my shoulder then I will cast darkness on myself.

Serill sees no magic auras from the bunched up grass.

Lidras flies a small distance from the party. Rosa does the same and calls the hell hounds to her. Most are awake.

I've found it's generally more efficient for the GM to roll initiative for everyone, but this way can also work.

The diminutive knight had taken his rest early in the evening, only needing a scant two hours before being back up and about his duties. He had been more than a little disturbed as Rosa called the skulking hell hounds into their camp, but as they seemed to keep to her and offer no issue to any of the remaining company, he tolerated the situation as best he could. With a little chuckle he had gone back into a meditation of faith and duty.

When his grim counterpart calls upon strange creatures in the night and metal objects floating, Aden leaps to his feet, drawing his righteous blade and turning about to see what threat approaches. His eyes failing to find a foe, he offers himself a blessing, hoping that his words might draw forth whomsoever may be approaching.

Round 3

After Aden's words a trio of three appear in the opposite direction of the clump of gathered grass. They appear well equipped adventurers. Likely a tiefling that looks the part like a succubus. A figure in a breastplate, leather bracers, metal shin guards, stout metal boots, and a dark helmet with a plume of blue fur off the top with a greatsword in his hands. The third figure is an old dwarf which for dwarven standards seems frail and worn-out looking with deep blue eyes and a really long snow-white beard that is braided into numerous strings hold together by multiple bronze rings, the longest of the braids nearly touching the ground. In contrast to his enormous beard, his head is completely bare but covered in numerous tattoo's. He wears wide, practical and warm clothes, in the colors of nature (dark green, brown, grey, white). And he don't seem to change his clothing style between adventuring and normal day wear. You see no weapons on the old geezer. You may make out tools for woodworking and hunting strapped to his backpack, but neither looks ready for a fight.

Her appearance see avatar picture! is that of a tempting succubus. Raven black hair spilling over two massive horns and a massive mane behind. Glowing red eyes, stark white teeth in comparison to her dark ruby glistening lips. A glittering diamond on her forehead and a necklace of bones and black leather. A red dress leaving little imagination to the viewer of all her deadly curves. Pert and amble breasts nearly ready to be free from the lack of clothing covering them. The rest of the dress covers her front and back, leaving cuts along the side to let her athletic legs be viewed easily. No wings or other demonic appearances as her hands are delicate with clean fingernails. On her head is a strange metallic hat of sorts made of flat strips of metal some six inches long with strange runes upon them, they almost seem to suspend in the air around her face as if ioun stones without the rotation. No weapons can be seen.

"Greetings, I hope you are here to venture into the recently found tomb? The Tomb of Nazarack. We have failed and hope you can find our allies within that graveyard. I am Olivira, this is Matthew" She raises her finely manicured hand to herself when she says her name and then points towards the armored one when she says his name, then to the old dwarf as she says his name, "and the last member Snowbeard. I am sorry for the misdirection but we are charged with survival and wanted to investigate and gather information before revealing ourselves."

Old Snowbeard (what a name?) is leaned heavily on a dark-wood walking cane. Atop the can sits a white, nearly translucent crab with oversized scissors. Should you focus on it, you may catch it blinking - so it is alive and not part of the cane after all.
As he lifts the left arm for a wave, a gnarling voice is carried by the wind. It sounds like the sound of a very distant snowslide in the mountains.
"Yarll, evn'in folks, yar heading fer the grave, arnt yar?
We searched fer yar in this place'o'creeps.
Ready fer a good'n'bloody adventure, yarll?"

The man in armor puts his glowing great sword on his back and joins the circle around the flames. After a few minutes you can hear a groan and him coughing up things. Blood, phlegm and a collection of other liquids are coughed up through his helmet. Should anyone try to come over to take off his helmet he waves them off. Once he clears this throat he groans out, [b]"Deaaath awaits us within that grave. Snowbeard said it correctly. The other 20 members that went in never came back. We found remains of devils and angels, we are not the first to enter though we might be lucky enough to leave. My special ability to resurrect is the only thing that helped me escape. I was cursed though before I left. I could not speak until I met the next 'pitiful fools' to enter the great Tomb of Nazarack. As I am charged to guide I will take you in if you still wish. Don't take anything you did not bring with you.

Rosa seeing the others come into being casts protection form Chaos, on herself. She watches as the Dwarf and fighter come up into the camp. But the Demoness has Rosa's full attention. As her last comment Rosa just walks up to Olivira as if to say something. But then 16' tall Rosa just kicks the tiefling strait between the legs.

Rosa's Hell blade comes into being in front of her, she snatches it from the air. To the demon kin she says in a clear voice of command.

"One more word out of you, Demon filth and my new pets eat your face off. Speak only when spoken too, nod your head if you understand."

Her black blade is now point at Olivira.

She is telling the truth, thought you don't think she really wants to be a succubus. From your knowledge she is just a tiefling not anything else.

And somehow just so happens to have find its way to just us the 2ed group. I do not believe in coincidences and you should know better. Keep it away from me or I will end it!"

She turns then having spoken what she need to and walks to the fighter.

"You! show me your hurts, I will see if I can heal you"

She offered her hands in a motion to Matthew in indication he should take his helm off. As she did she added.

"And you Lidras, your male no matter how you act. A She-Demon like this will have you eating out of her hands before you know it."

She layed out her medical kit.

"She knows more than she is letting on"
