So, 2 weapon 2's a weapon 1, an item 2, an item 1, an ally 2, an ally 1, and only B blessings. No armors at all, but if you choose Armor for your random card pick, then you could end up with one. Each of you can choose Weapon or Armor as your extra draw.

So, it appears that we get a bonus deck upgrade for this scenario, so we're all looking at 2 card upgrades. We also get to add our Exchange faction card to our hand at the beginning of the scenario!

Flenta will choose armor as her bonus Exchange faction card. That's going to come in mighty hand for this Asmodeus-tinged scenario. Flenta will choose to add a weapon to the list of potential upgrades from the scenario reward.

She would very much like a Weapon 2 for one of her upgrades. If she doesn't get it for her first upgrade, then she would very much a Weapon 2 for her second upgrade. An Item 1 would be super-useful as well. A Weapon 1 would be a consolation prize.

I think I'd most prefer a Weapon 2 and an Item 1, but if no one else takes the second Weapon 2, then I sure won't leave it on the table.

I was able to have my character tiered up retroactively so I am able to take the other Weapon 2 so if you would prefer the Item 1 and no others want a Weapon 2. I will defer to any others that want the second Weapon 2 to be fair though.

Don’t defer, Oloch! Stick it out there and claim one of the Weapon 2s! You’d need to make a d1000 roll, though, if Erasmus was interested.

It looks like Olenjack is interested mainly in Item 1s, so people will have to roll for that if they’re interested because Flenta is also interested there.

Don’t forget that we get 2 deck upgrades from the last scenario!

In the interests of time, I recommend that everyone list at least 3 deck upgrades they want and roll 1d1000s for them. In that case, we're still waiting on Oloch and Erasmus.

If nobody is interested in an armor deck upgrade, then Olenjack will draw a weapon to add to the scenario rewards. I believe both Oloch and Erasmus have not selected anything yet.

Regarding the Exchange Special Condition:
Are we allowed to see our starting hands for the next scenario (and the next scenario locations and rules, for those of us who don't know them) before picking regarding our Exchange special condition? (To clarify; the announcement about the Exchange special condition is not actually a result of us completing the Exchange objective just then - at least not directly - and it would've normally come mid-scenario, hence my rules confusion.)

If we have to pick in advance, then Olenjack will pick an Armor if we're doing the Grand Lodge objective, and I'll pick an item if we're doing the Dark Archives objective (which I note we already have the special condition for).

As an aside, could we please add the Dark Archives' Special Condition in the header of the campaign, or in scenario updates? It's pretty easy to forget that we all now can choose to evade undead now. Also, the Reinforcements is still showing as displayed, though it was handed off as per scenario completion.

If someone wants another Weapon 1/2 or Armor 1/2 instead of one of their picks above, I strongly recommend they clarify that so that people can pick helpful additional cards to add!

    (Oloch, would you want a second Weapon 2 over a Weapon 1? Or an Armor 1/2 over a Weapon 1?)

    If a Armor 2 is drawn that would take priority over a second Weapon 2 or a Weapon 1.

    Ah, thanks! Then I'll definitely have Olenjack draw an Armor for the Exchange objective. Based on the Hangouts, it seems that Erasmus has chosen the same.

    Which mean the current Exchange Objective bonus rewards are 3 armors (Olenjack, Erasmus, Oloch) and a weapon (Flenta), unless I've missed something.

    End Your Turn is a single step that concludes with your hand reset - hand reset is made up of "Reset Effect -> Optional Discards -> Draw" which is still all a part of the same step. Once they are done, the turn immediately passes to the next player, and you'll need to wait for the first time they're in-between steps (likely between their Start Of Turn and Give A Card steps) before it's a legal play again.

    I had to go through our table-playing history to determine if Flenta gets a feat for this scenario: long story short, she does not. This is her third scenario success in her Tier progression.

    She's therefore only really interested in the Blessing upgrade.

    Flenta most definitely will not be taking a Spell 2. It's a waste for her - it winds up being a one-time spell for her. She's going to prioritise the Blessing 2. Everything else is MUCH less desired.

    If Flenta gets the Blessing that she wants, then she will take Blessing as her Card Feat. If she gets Armor instead, she will take Armor as her Card Feat.

    Flenta also needs to replace two banished spells in her deck - thankfully she can just post Call Weapon and Fiery Glare back into her deck, and she will.

    Sorry Flenta, but Tyler's statement about card replacement in Hangouts is incorrect. You can't put Fiery Glare back into your deck, unless you're choosing to Tier-Up to Tier 3 right now.

    No Weapon, Item or Ally 1s or above, so (despite that impressive list of Spells, Blessings and Armor) this turns out to be a pretty poor haul for me. I'm kicking myself for missing the Announced Condition which would've let me acquire that Ally 2 druid.

    Olenjack will pass on Deck Upgrades.

    However, he will use the scenario reward to draw Sacred Candle (Item 1) from his Ultimate Equipment box, replacing Thieves' Tools with it.

    To be fair, whatever the reasoning, it's been like that in the normal base sets dating back to the start of PACG, from memory. I can only assume AD3 is supposed to represent a more significant step-up in power from AD2, perhaps because you start getting rid of basic banes at that point and so it represents a much larger jump in difficulty than AD1->AD2?
