"Anyone hurt? I have some healing magics for the day." Frackit says eyeing the camels as he was not sure about the strange hose like beasts.
Sheikh Ibn Taaib al-Ghurabi |
"The blade will be forever lost should I let it," Ibn Taaib says. He glances at the crystalline Qasim, and says. "I believe it can be a tool for Good. I will go to get it."
With that, he tightens the cloth around his face, bringing it closer to his dark eyes, and sets out of the mystical dome into the blinding sand, heading towards the place he saw the blade last fly.

Find roll(?): 1d20 ⇒ 8
GMEDWIN |
Someone has to try to get the camels under cover.
The Sheikh goes into the maelstrom to try and find the sword but the power of the winds are too great and they push him even further away and he loses any bearing. The winds are too immense for him even to get back to the party so he uses his superior survival skill to set himself up in an indentation to ride out the storm.
We will resolve this once the party tries to corral the camels.
Mahara says, "Healing and rest is not important, we need to take care of the animals, fore if we do not we may be stranded in the desert with no supplies."
Zairiah |
Zairiah works to get the camels to shelter.

Fadilah al-Qadib |
Fadilah says, "If we can ride out the sandstorm, I'll see what I can do about the camel situation. Just get as many as you can under cover!"
Frackit Alloyeye |
Frackit nods and begins to point."Okay we need to hunker down, who ever can help with he camels needs to help, the rest of us just stay put."
"Ill make sure to have more healing spells on the morrow" The gnome says as he begins to get hunkered down.

Paritosh doing camel corralling

The combination of Paritosh and Zairiah is able to corral all of them except one. The party gets under the cover of Fadilah's spell.
GM Rolls
About 30 minutes before the spell is set to finish the sandstorm clears up, which gives the group enough time move the camels out to climb a sand dune. During the storm you take stock of what two camels are gone and you find out that most of your rations are gone.

Paritosh Jumbal |
Looks like I'm 2 hours late to make some rolls! With that said, I have no such NWP as "Animal Handling." I have "Animal Training" and Camel Riding.
Paritosh owes the Sheikh his life, and when he doesn't return, he determines to set out and find him...
Zairiah |
After the storm dies down, Zairiah moves around trying to check on everyone and make sure everyone is okay. She was disappointed at the loss of the camels. It was a good thing that they were so close to Iyda's village. Hopefully they could trade for food there so that they could continue their journey. She still wasn't sure how they were going to get her back to normal size however, or if they village would be willing to trade at all after finding out what had been done.

Nura sighs in frustration. Losing the camels with the rations meant lean times ahead. And where has the Sheikh gone?
Zairiah |
Ah, yes, thank you Frackit. I was injured by one of those things that took the camels away. I would appreciate a little healing. Kind of you to ask.
Sheikh Ibn Taaib al-Ghurabi |
The sheikh returns, thanking Paritosh for the assistance.
He arrives to see the chaotic makeshift camp. He carries the empty sheath of the enchanted Lion Sword.
"We must away, and quickly," he says calmly. "This sudden storm will not be the only one, I fear."
Zairiah |
Why do you think there will be another storm? We are going to be traveling this desert for weeks, minimum. Has something changed?
