I didn't do it. I feel like someone put a curse on me though. I'm calling the Dr this morning cud I started having severe sharp lower abdominal pain on my right side yesterday, and while it's not quite as bad as it was yesterday, my head is all stopped up, I'm nauseous and having other stomach issues, and my body aches all over while I'm still having pain on that lower region.

I don't think it's appendicitis cuz I'm not running a fever or vomiting, but it might be my kidneys or possibly a UTI....which I don't know how that would be possible with all the water I drink....but I don't know, so best to let the professionals figure it out.

In other news - and I hate to do this - I think I'm going to bow out now while it's easier for you guys to get a replacement. The recent downtimes as well as a busy work schedule have reinforced a hunch I've had for the past few weeks that I need to cut back on games a bit. I'm sorry to do this as suddenly as it probably appears because I was looking forward to playing with some new faces, but adding more games right now would be irresponsible of me in the long haul, I think.

My appointment is at 2 this afternoon. I'm trying to find a ride...even though I think I could drive myself down there, if he gives me shots or any kind of strong medicine I won't be able to drive back home and Henry has to work....so, I'm seeing if a friend can take me. If not, I can always ask his mom...but her driving scares the hell outta me.

Okay, so I couldn't even reach his mom, so I had to drive myself to the doctor. I had to get poked with a needle to draw blood, but at least I didn't have to get any shots, so I was able to drive myself home. Turns out I just have a really nasty stomach virus. I'm still feeling kind of icky, but it's a bit better than yesterday. The doctor gave me medicine for the nausea and other icky symptoms though, so I'll be okay. Just thought I'd give everyone an update since I was pretty out of it Friday and forgot to do it then.

Definitely a thought. I will see what Old Mammoth & Dragonserpent are up to these days. We didn't last long enough after the new guy started for me to get a feel for him...

Edit: So it looks as though Dragonserpent/Gared may have just stopped having anything to do with the site as of 2013 or so. Old Mammoth/Carmina seems to still be active & also seems to be down to only one active game, so they might be interested in a new one. I will send them a ping & see. If it ends up that both they & Rysky's friend pop in it isn't as if five will significantly up my workload.

Hello, I'm the one Rysky mentioned. I'd be interested in joining, I was playing it on Rolld20 but the group didn't get very far (barely into the party in part one) and kinda fell apart. Unfortunately the race restrictions mean throwing out a direct port of my kitsune I was running. If you'll have me I would be interested though I can't garauntee having a character done before Wednesday (day off work) as I work 10 hour shifts M,T,R,F and my ability to post from there tends to be limited/nonexistent.

At the moment, our biggest 'need' would be for an arcane caster. Wizard, Arcanist, or Magus would be the ideal for reasons of the fact that academic casters get more respect in Taldor than Sorcerers do, but if you prefer Sorcerers, go for it.

Alright, so I'm leaning towards an arcanist at the moment (I like to play casters anyway so this works out) and was considering trying for a twilight sage arcanist. Since it's from a Player Companion book (Advance Class Origins) I figured I'd better check before I get too set on it.

Hey, I was reading your backstory and in the beginning of the third paragraph when you're talking about your father raising you, you put your mother's name instead of yours. I just thought I'd let you know so you could go back in and fix it. It's really great by the way, and I love the picture....I'm not that creative I don't think with mine. I'm not super good at coming up with backstories all the time.
