Indeed Master scaevola. That does sound like good advice," the de-facto leader of the Anku-Te says.
He turns to the necromancer with a sly wink. “A qlippoth, you say? Those creatures are opposed to everything! Everything that moves, living or unliving. Thank you for getting to the bottom of this mess and destroying that creature before it could pose a threat to my citizens.”
He is looks over the bunch of you before continuing. “It seems the Pathfinders do indeed live up to their reputation. I look forward to working with you and your organization in the future. I will send my regards to your venture-captain.”
Horus Ilakta is happily hosts you for a meal, spending most of the time in conversation with the eager necromancer. Though he offers much advice, the most valuable aspect would be his comfort around the undead. "Those of us who have the power to grant a second life should know above all else the responsibility that entails. Twice-Born who cannot care for themselves rely on us to curb their more destructive impulses. Otherwise they become a threat to public safety and must, unfortunately, be destroyed."* As a leader he has made this section of Maagnimar a model of undead integration into his district.
sorry nothing mechanical I can give, and that is the line for a different version of the story (so it might be spoilers for your next run. :)
A day or so later, as the Pathfinders finish their studies and spell-trading collaboration a letter from Sheila Heidmarch arrives. It thanks the Pathfinders for helping out one of the leaders of the city. I am told he has granted us access to the city and opportunities for the future. Well done.
Zaarah laughs a lot during the fesitvities!
She tells the story of the mighty dwarf that was able to defeat a summoned creature and drinks on the whole team.
"We were victorious! May we battle again together! Until then ... may Chaldira be with you!"
"Oh, before I forget! Anku-Te, as a scholar that has so much to share as I see I would very much like to tell you more about the faction in the Society that I represent! The Scarab Sages ... maybe you would be interested to join? Listen, ...."
GM, is Anku-Te a valid NPC for this faction mission?
Recruit a named NPC scholar, archaeologist, extraplanar authority, or similar figure to join the Scarab Sages. Recruitment requires a Diplomacy or Knowledge (local) check (DC = 15 + your character level).
Zaarah's Diplomacy is +10 so 'take 10 result' is 20.

For those familiar with the scenario, please weigh in on the scholar point?
I am not sure. He is the leader of a city district, a city that doesn't necessarily allow Pathfinders. A point called out in the scenario. Is he a scholar or just a person with a lot of free labor because of his skills?
Maybe the troll augory might fit?
Thanks guys. I would also consider the troll! Amazing capabilities that always come handy ... I mean you always have your intestines within reach, right? ;-)
