Everyone, I think I've got my mind made up, so I don't see why we should string things along. I'd like to invite the following players/character concepts to take part in the game.

Jobo, are there any other character theme feats which catch your eye? The four active players I have right now are a Skyseer, Gunsmith, Technologist, and Yerasol Veteran.

I'd strongly prefer there be no overlap between PCs theme feats.


OK, if you want no overlap = Vekashi Mystic.
After reading the Players Guide I will be insufferable in my desire for vengeance.
If you don't let me be redundant, I promise that everyone will regret their culpabilithy in the death of Srasamu.
My elf or half elf Mystic will not forget easily.


Jobo, how would your Vekeshi Mystic function as a member of the Royal Homeland Constabulary, specifically as a member of a 5-6 person squad (i.e., the adventuring party)? I'm a little concerned, because it sounds like you want your character to embrace the 'elves are terrorists' stereotype that many Risuri citizens espouse.

Oh, and what class did you have in mind for this hypothetical character?


Half - Elf Bard/Vekish mystic
I will plan on "sticking it to the man"


I will play along to get along as a charismatic half-elvish bard. In my heart of hearts I will know of "the betrayal" but have the conflict of working to make the world a better place for all citizens. Although I cannot change the past, I will not let my heritage and principles completely be sacrificed for a bright future.

Can we work with this? I wanted the charisma for this:

Dreamspeaker: A few elves have the ability to tap into the
power of sleep, dreams, and prescient reverie. Elves with
this racial trait add +1 to saving throw DCs for spells of the
divination school and sleep effects they cast. In addition,
elves with a Charisma of 15 or higher may use dream once
per day as a spell-like ability (caster level is equal to the
elf ’s character level). This racial trait replaces the elven
immunities racial trait.

If my character is treated with respect and progresses within this highly stratified society, it will be harder and harder to keep the rebel fires burning in the soul.

I was thinking a Docker - still need to swirl it around betwixt my noggin to figure out race and class. Probably a primary caster as that's what looks to be missing at the moment.

Given that we'll be part of the constabulatory, I was seeing him as a solid adult age and starting to move past the edgier aspects of the docker philosophy. Sort of a teenage bohemian who has grown up a bit and started to move past his childhood rebellion. Still has some ties to the movement and can talk / walk the talk / walk when he wants to.

Does that jive in with the group?

I think it would work well! I'm interested, and we did just confirm the departure of one player. I'd be pleased to have you, so please do go ahead and work this up if you want in.
