Nissa Alami
Using a swift action, Nissa spends one of her points arcane her arcane pool to charge her weapon with energy.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Nissa moves swiftly as the last lash falls, her blade lashing out to cut Scourge's flesh, even as she interposes herself between Scourge and the gnome.
"That was the last beating you shall give, unclean one."
Current AC: 25
GM Hills
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 251d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 211d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 71d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 81d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 111d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 221d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 121d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 211d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 111d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 91d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 171d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Seeing Nissa slash a gaping wound on Scourge, Plugg, grits his teeth and points his cutlass at her. As he does, a blast of water erupts from the weapon and slams into her.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
The water courses over her and slams her back, into Conch...
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
And left dripping before the gnome who is on his knees, but also at Scourge's feet.
"Traitorous WITCH!!!!" He screams as his call to arms.
At this point, it is on the 'heroes', Round 1, as it were. It begins...
Nissa Alami
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Nissa continues her assault on Scourge by lashing her sword at him in a frenzy.
Swift Action: Arcane Strike
Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 9 - 2 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Spell Strike: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 9 - 2 = 8
GM Hills
Was it not clear? You are currently prone, Nissa, by the jet of water that blasted you. You would be further back if it had not been for bumping into Conch and him stopping your momentum. I will do better with descriptions next time and perhaps put conditions in OOC text
Nissa Alami
Nope. Not clear. I read it as slams her back not as slams her back. I kept looking for a damage roll, before I remembered a 22 couldn't hit my AC.
Nissa will stand up. (Provoking) If Scourge is in range she will attack.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Diabolito Stormbeard
Using the 2nd level domain spell of Spiritual Weapon.
Diabolito howls out, as his open palm points in the man's direction. "Plugg! Scourge! Ya piece of yellow-bellied s&**es! Gozreh's wrath upon ye!" As the dwarf does so, a glowing rod swiftly forms into a golden trident, beside the former lackey of Harrigan.
With an almost unnatural swiftness, the weapon of force strikes at the coward, turncoat, and all around scum Scourge.
Trident: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Force Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
No idea if that particular spell's attack is a touch attack or not, since it strikes like a spell.
GM Hills
Scourge grins when she stands up and takes his chance to crack his whip on her.
AOO: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Even with the -4 for being prone, it sadly misses.
Grunting as he misses, Nissa's blade cuts into Scourge once more, at which point, he grits his teeth as he looks to her with death in his eyes, clearly that is the only thought in his mind.
As this happens, the dwarf creates his spiritual weapon, but the thing fails to connect, missing over Scourge's shoulder.
Doc Williams
Doc watches bemusedly as Nissa casts her spells and begins assaulting Scourge. That girl's got a temper that runs hotter than a salamander's skin. Remind me not to get on her bad side. Still, wish she'd given us some warning, downing potions at the last second is always a mess.
With that he shrugs briefly before fishing out his flask containing his mutagen and downing it. "Bottoms up!"
Std. Act.: Dex Mutagen, +4 dex, +2 Nat. Armor, -2 Wis
Not moving this round
Aramis Steele
"Gods damnit, lass! Ah was sapposed ta' be tha one ta' get us all killed!" Aramis bellows. She whips her musket around, yanks the end off her powder horn with her teeth, and begins hurriedly funnelling blackpowder down the barrel. Dark mutters escape her lips, mainly a steady stream of curses in various tongues.
Two move actions - draw musket, load musket.
Malak Wavecrasher
|
We decided to mutiny while I'm out of power and dumb stuff. Ugh, well time to tear things up. Not even sure which are friendly. Going to rage and strike at Scourge with power attack and my smash. Activating my special on the ranseur so I don't have to move.
The half-orc lights up in fury as Nissa is pounded around and targeted. He swiftly pulls his trident off his back and pounds his chest. The sea reaver roars with an abnormal sound as his trident extends in length. Then Malak lunges the point of his weapon forward at Scourge's chest with savage might.
Attack : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
Intimidate: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
GM Hills
Scourge might have thought he was going to crush the lithe 'dancer' with his ire and strength, but it was not to be. The ranseur leaped out of nowhere and caught him square in his throat. Just as he was about to let out another taunt, he clutched at the wound as he gurgled instead. Dropping to his knees, his eyes roll up into his head and he is out.
Maera's post incoming in a few
Nissa Alami
I had this idea of leaping on the railing and delivering a Shocking Grasp to Plugg through my sword. I know would involve several acrobatic checks, but is it even possible? It is certainly cinematic.
Maera
"Are you mad!?" Maera cries at her, having been too focused on Conchabar's unfair punishment to realize what the other woman was doing, but it is clear that she is not pleased by this turn of events. What happened to patience and the opportune moment, like they seemed to have agreed on? Not to mention it their allies may not be fully prepared, and for them to risk themselves under such conditions was selfish and ignorant of their sacrifices. Hissing oaths under her breath, she moves quickly to the gnome, knowing that with the assault he has just taken puts him at greater risk of grievous injury should Nissa's thoughtless scheme go awry.
Double Move - Approach Conchabar, and help him away from the thickest of the enemies so he doesn't end up skewered. :/
GM Hills
Conch goes with Maera and once away, he takes a deep breath. Escaping the fight was all he could really concentrate on. Sandara glares at Nissa then rushes over to her friend and places a hand on him, "We have to get you back into the fight!"
2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 7) + 3 = 17
Rosie grins, "Alright you bloody bastards, it's payback time!!!"
She runs over to one of the Vudrani sailors and slashes out at him with her finely crafted axe.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
The sailor seems to not care for the blow and drops to his knees, cowering at her might.
"That's right, cower like the simpering dog you are!"
Cog grins and turns to Fipps and punches him hard in the mouth, angry that his weapon is missing.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
1d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
The blow draws a good bit of blood from Fipps and Cog grins wider.
"Fun came sooner than I thought!"
Syl draws her weapon but seems to hesitate (Syl is the character in between dots but on the dot side).
Aretta swings her club at Cog quickly...
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
...and gives him a nice welt for his trouble.
Once again, the Vudrani see their countrymate as the threat and as such begin to pile upon her.
Officer: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 2 = 26
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The short sword comes up short, as one moves up behind Nissa to flank her.
1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7
2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 1) + 2 = 9
Crit: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 2 = 17
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The blade slides into side and just misses vital organs, catching her off guard.
Another Vudrani comes up towards her, death in his eyes as he swings at her.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
But can't seem to find his way through her defenses.
Finally, Plugg looks upon the group and jumps from the aft castle...
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Landing gracefully and then cracks his whip, attempting to tear Nissa's urumi from her hands.
Disarm: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Tearing the weapon from her hand as it skitters to the ground.
"B!tch, this is my ship and you will pay for this treachery..."
Round 2: Mutineers UP!
Nissa Alami
Sorry. I've never been disarmed before. Assuming that picking it up is a move action . .
Nissa gracefully reaches down to pick up her black bade. Provoking
"Call me what you will, unclean dog; but, by the morning light it will be your body that is beneath the waves."
She steps into the square where she may strike the hated Plug.
Swift Action: Arcane Strike
Spell Strike (Shocking Grasp): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 +3 if he has a metal weapon or armor.
Damage: 1d8 + 7 + 3d6 ⇒ (2) + 7 + (1, 6, 1) = 17
Aramis Steele
"Outta tha' way, lass!" Aramis roars, bracing her musket against her shoulder and firing at Plugg. She wastes no time before reloading, her movements noticably quicker than in the last battle.
5-foot shift, firing at 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 for 1d12 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 damage. Reloading as a move action.
Diabolito Stormbeard
"Plugg, ya two-legged rat! T'ain't ya ship, and it ain't ever gonna be!" The diabolic little dwarf grins, his teeth growing large as he shouts at the "officer". Activating the natural attack portion of Totemic Transformation.
As he speaks, the trident slides along to strike at the hateful Plugg.
Spiritual Weapon: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
GM Hills
Nissa, you will need to make a concentration check to cast or you provoke for that as well (not saying that anyone has combat reflexes, but they might)
When Nissa reaches for her weapon, everyone reaches for her... Note: these attacks are against your AC sans your weapon, so 22
1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 2 = 12
2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 4) + 2 = 12
1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 = 11
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Plugg: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
But all strikes miss her as she moves into position to cast.
Doc Williams
Doc downs one more elixir and moves forward into the thick of combat.
Effect: Shield, AC +4
As he moves up beside Nissa, he comments casually "Nice job on Scourge, he never saw that coming. But I imagine after we finish up with this lot that you're going to get an earful from Maera." As an afterthought he adds "Also, I think you're buying the first round of drinks when we hit port to celebrate our victory!" He grins at Nissa and then moves in to begin fighting.
"Ok, which one of you lot is first? You all seem to have enough trouble hitting a little lady, why not try a larger target?" Doc brandishes his dagger, looking at the group of loyalists ahead of him.
Malak Wavecrasher

Perception : 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Intimidate: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Attack : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
Malak let's his rage take full hold and barks at Syl to shake her from hesitating. "Syl! Protect the loud-mouth she's with me!" Then he roars and jabs at the officer with her former weapon. Once again it stretches out with magical swiftness and the savagery of his strength. The sea reaver glares at the officer, her lackeys, then Plugg. [B]"Ye all shud give up now 'n I might not slaughter the lot of ye! " [/Ooc] Extension, power attack, and smash on the vudrani officer. I like not having to move to kill people :) if I can't reach her then the GM can move me to a more opportune positio, can't on my phone right now[/Ooc]
Diabolito Stormbeard
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
The angry, bloodthirsty dwarf takes a step over the downed sailor next to his similarly red sailor friend and proceeds to strike with teeth, axe, and spiritual magic. Last round of Spiritual Weapon. And using his special ability to add +1 to bite damage.
Axe: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Bite: 1d20 + 5 - 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 - 5 + 1 + 1 = 20
Trident: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Axe Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Bite Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
Trident Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Maera
Using the check from earlier, cause it's funnier this way. Inspire Courage up, Move action to draw action to her perception check?
"Keep out of this as much as ye can,"" she says to Conchabar, not wanting him to suffer for this lack of planning. She stands up to view the battlefield, "And if we all manage to live through this, I may damn well kill her m - Oh, what the fresh Hells!" She's spotted the tentacles, and realizes that suddenly there's probably bigger problems than this premature mutiny.
No longer able to just play the defensive role in this, she shouts to the others before beginning her bard song, "Hate to disrupt your priorities but unless you want all of us to be dragged to the depths you might want to refocus a bit on what's clawing at the ship!"
GM Hills
My friend in SC just got his back late last night, but apparently as of yesterday MORE people were losing than gaining. Hate to be the bearer of bad news...Also, my post will be coming in shortly!
Aramis spends her time reloading If you want to move, as well, that's cool, but I figured that was what your plan would be for this round...
Aramis Steele
Sorry, I was working last night. Photographing a pyrotechnic sculpture, of all things. Just dragged myself out of bed. Also, thanks to a shiny new deed, I can now reload as a move action instead of a standard, so I'll be doing that if you don't mind ;-)
After loading her powder, Aramis drops a bullet down the barrel and aims at Plugg in one smooth motion, rage burning in her dark eyes. Her bullet whistles through the air, blackpowder coating her hands once more.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Bring 'im down!: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Crit?!: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Damage is 1d12 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6. If 14 hits his touch AC, please add another 3d12 ⇒ (9, 5, 11) = 25. :D Three more damage if Point-Blank Shot is multiplied on a crit.
Nissa Alami
Don't forget your bonuses from Inspire! That's another +1 to hit and damage. I think Point Blank Shot does get multiplied by the crit. So, I think, if the crit succeeds then you will be 36 damage.
GM Hills
As the gunshot goes off, the bullet connects with Plugg, hitting him squarely in the temple with an explosion of blood, sending him to his knees, followed by him falling into a clump at Nissa's feet, the satisfaction of killing him stolen away from her by Aramis's well placed gunshot.
As the bullet went off, a series of splashing could be heard...
Seeing the leaders have fallen, the rest of the combatants surrender, having witnessed Malak, Nissa, and Aramis obliterate the Captain and First Mate.
Sandara walks up and glares at Nissa, but keeps her mouth shut...for now, then she reaches down to Scourge and heals him. "Bleeding out is far too good for him at this moment. He deserves to suffer. Sadly, Plugg won't suffer with him."
Cog reaches down to the cutlass and scoops it up, waiting to see if anyone complains about him grabbing Plugg's fancy weapon, at which point, he looks to Sandara..."So...uhhh...who's the new captain...and what do we do with the prisoners?"
Nissa Alami
मैं रानी हूँ, मेरे लिए अपनी वफादारी की कसम खाता हूँ और बख्शा. आप मेरे दिव्य क्रोध जगाने जो उन लोगों के लिए क्या होता है देखा है.
Nissa will also detect magic to determine what treasures there are to be divided up.
Nissa Alami
If they swear their loyalty than they should be spared. Scourge shall be killed once Sandara is done with him, and so shall his remaining cronies if they do not forswear their past sins against us. Where one's blood can be spilled across the waters to appease the strange gods of this part of the world, so too can others." Nissa gives those cronies a wrathful look.
With her magically sharp blade she precedes to sever Plugg's gore drenched head from his body.
Maera
Maera shakes her head with a huff, and ceases her song. She seems to be taking a cue from Sandara and holding her rage in check before the crew, as someone needs to be a cooler head.
"I agree, Scourge'll get his formal punishment soon enough - I imagine that being fed to the sharks or drowning in the hotbox are choice options. As for the rest, we tie 'em up and put them in the hold... give them time to reevaluate their situation..." She doesn't want to mention out here that in order to be able to even run the ship, they'll likely need all the hands they can get.
Nissa Alami
