PM'd the others. I may have to combine the two games if enough people dropped. Anna, Fearghus, and Krol are up!

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

Fearghus and Krol both posted on the OOC within the past 2 days. Anna has always been an infrequent poster. I will leave Krol a note - he is in England, so already asleep most likely.

Kassen Battle Maps

Forgot to double check the discussion thread. Oh well, another reminder won't hurt. I'm not in too bug of a rush, I'll give them a few days to get in here before I start to worry.

I was aware the game was active again, and that it wasn't my turn yet!

Fearghus, eager to deal with this scum, tries his best to be silent as he approaches the two sleeping over by the far wall.

Stealth: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (19) - 2 = 17 Move to F5

Heh, Durnak an' Gen'sen ain' th'only ones t'be sneakin' 'roun' 'ere t'day!

Genisen continues up the stairs sneaking with panache.

Same as Fearghus, wasn't my turn yet so I didn't respond.

Krol delays as he's afraid of awaking any of the bandits and looks to the rest of the group, shrugging his shoulders.

was origonally going to grease the area and attacked, but realised you said they were all sleeping so I'm stuck for options really.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

You all can watch the woodsman not split skulls, rather just give bad people REALLY bad headaches.

M Human Paladin 2; Init +2; Per +0; HP 24; AC 18, T 12, FF 16; F +5, R +2, W +3

Well, I'd like to take a "crack" at it myself (ha.ha.), but having -2 Stealth makes it a bit tricky!

Until the ruckus occurs, Luther is content to watch the sneaky guys put the bad guys into deeper sleeps.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

Durnak is trained to tiptoe through the tulips.

Kassen Battle Maps

Okay looks like Anna's missing for the moment. I'll bot her if needed. Sorry it's taking so long to get back in the groove. On the bright side, you aren't faceing most of the thugs at once like the other group.

As Durnak puts another thug into a deeper sleep, Genisen sneaks up the rest of the stairs and finds five more thugs. The smell of ale and rum is strong and it looks like they may have fallen asleep a few hours before you arrived at most. Dolgana makes her way to the thug on a wall well away from the others, she bumbles a bit, but the man is so far under, Durnak needn't have worried. Fearghus, though, creeps up on the two under the other set of stairs with nary a whisper.

The only sound from the rest of the warehouse is snoring.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

Once again Durnak puts his finger to his lips hoping everyone stays where they are.

Move to F6.

Kassen Battle Maps

Not with those rolls they're not. Yeesh man, was Durnak a commando and you didn't mention it.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

I figure sooner or later I will knock over a can of nails or trip through a pile of bells or something. Although I gotta say that it is much easier to disable the enemy this way.

Round 3:

Stealth to F3: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (8) - 2 = 6

Erk, I think I might'a woke some a' these guys up...! Well, I always did prefer a straight fight 'stead a' sneakin' 'round like some kinda thief in'a' night.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

Gonna have to teach the paladin what I mean when I put my finger to my lips and say "Shhh"

Hmmm, better not let the paladin know that you are killing sleeping people. I have been using all non-lethal so far.

Kassen Battle Maps

Even non-lethal is going to probably kill him.
10 + 10 + 14 - 33 = 1
okay not quite, the thug is at -13 and has a 5% chance to stabilize in the next round, if that is non-lethal. Let's see if he makes it.

Non-lethal. Thats what I meant by braining and not slitting throats, but he may have been too effective. Thinking about it, the question is could he do the sneak attack with non-lethal hilt to the head. He might only be able to do sneak attack damage with lethal damage or non-lethal with a sap or the like. If not, the thug would have had 4 more hps and would stabilize.

M Human Paladin 2; Init +2; Per +0; HP 24; AC 18, T 12, FF 16; F +5, R +2, W +3

Apparently I'm actually in F4, since Durnak moved to F3 before me.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

Genisen - this is why I switched to whacking them with my cutlass rather than the axe. I figured that coup de gras with the axe was an almost guaranteed kill. Try using a club or dagger.

Male Human Ranger (Freebooter/Trapper) HP 22/25 AC 17 (18 with Shield) FF 14 T 13 CMD 16 Fort +4, Ref +5, Will +0 Init +5 Per +5

Unfortunately Genisen's swashbuckling nature does not allow him to willingly use anything less than his greatsword. That is Genisen's hang up, not a class limitation!

Readying a charge for the first sign of trouble. Pass me by while the sneakers do their job.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

Anna passes unless she posts something.

Kassen Battle Maps

Yep. I think we may have lost our arcane caster.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

I think we are back to me as Fearghus moved and Luther and Krol both indicated they were holding so as to not make noise.

I already posted my next action above which was to move to F3 and whack #2 for 15 points of non-lethal damage.

M Human Paladin 2; Init +2; Per +0; HP 24; AC 18, T 12, FF 16; F +5, R +2, W +3

My Round 3 action was to move to F4, since Durnak moved to F3 before I "could". If we're into Round 4, I'd like to see an updated map before making a decision.

Kassen Battle Maps

Working on it, but Photobucket is giving me a bit of a fit.

Krol and Ava will continue to delay until the combat starts as they're afraid of causing too much noise and alerting the thugs to their presance here.

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

Not to nitpick, but how are you moving 50' in one round while using stealth without penalty? Should take you 3 rounds @ 1/2 speed without penalty or 2 rounds at -5 to stealth if moving full speed.

Male Human Ranger (Freebooter/Trapper) HP 22/25 AC 17 (18 with Shield) FF 14 T 13 CMD 16 Fort +4, Ref +5, Will +0 Init +5 Per +5

If you want to knock some out up here just say so! You are right, I forgot about half speed so it will take rounds 7 and 8 with a double move to get there then 9 and 10 for two knockouts

Stealth 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

Male Human Ranger/1, Rogue/1

I just hope you don't kill them all.

If I am upstairs before Genisen finishes off the last of the bandits.

Quietly - Keep one a 'em 'live so we kin talk wit em. Bunch a corpses ain't gonna give us no help.

yup, delaying until combat starts. I have a bad feeling if I take a single step I'll get a nat 1.
