Felmor watches the sisters go, and allows then their privacy. He was not that old, that was one of the stories he had heard, due to the celebrity of the passengers. Aye, I think I should'a kept me mouth shut. But naw, ye jes had ta be a clod. Specially 'round purty faces. He decided to busy himself with other menial tasks, until the sisters felt like being sociable again. He hoped it wouldn't be too long.

That INT check was one that should have been failed, he he.

Seeing that Suny's eyesight isn't quite as good as her own, Alis says, "Tell you what. You're stronger than me so why don't you stay down here and help man the sails..." She begins buttoning up her skirt forming it into something not unlike bloomers. Placing her hand on the rigging, she begins to climb saying, "...and I'll keep a look-out."

Your voyage to Kassen passes uneventfully. Other than an enterprising trio of sharks following in your wake, the only ship you pass is a slow-moving cargo barge floating downstream along a small, lazy river that Kassen's locals simply call Kassen's Creek.

The Jade Coi's flat bottom has no trouble passing upstream. Inside the perimeter of the hamlet's outer walls, you pass a single large house with its own pier before docking at a U-shaped wharf on the river's south bank.

"We here!" Qoian announces matter-of-factly. "Not bad sairors. You pay enough so we wait for you arw week. Tavern is souf on dis street den west on oder side of town square — Seven Sivahs."With that, the captain's men finish mooring the junk and head into the town to spend the gold paid them by 'Captain Wardove'.

There's a bit less than one hour of sunlight left before dark. I'll try to get a map of town up shortly. Have some work to do here first though. Feel free to RP and such in the meantime.

Morgaard offers kind words to Alexis giving her a light pat on the knee:

"It does remind one of home, nay? It saddens the heart for your loss, young mistress. But, always remember, they faire now in a much better place with the rest of your honored family line. Oh the tales they will enjoy by the warmth of the hearth in the Great Hall; speaking with the Kirmoon elders who hailed from a time when the trees and stones were young! We should not mourn their loss; but celebrate their crossing - this is how they would want it. Your seperation is only temporary. Now, you'll see them again, but hopefully later than sooner if ol' Morgaard has anything ado with it!"

Morgaard puffs a smoke ring and offers a gentle smile as he pulls Alexis close for a hug. Looking up, he catches Suny's glance after hearing her comment. He points the stem of his pipe in her direction and speaks firmly over the gentle breeze.

"I swim well enough, little one. The point is not to swim at all if I can help it; just use your sailoring skills to keep this heap afloat so I don't have to, eh?"

He arches one grey eyebrow at Suny, and puffs out a single large smoke ring.

Felmor spends the rest of the voyage making himself as unobtrusiove as possible, and breatehs a sigh of relief as the scow arrives at Kassen. As he well knew, true privacy on a small vessel was nigh impossible, but he did know some tricks.

Once they have disembarked, he says to Captain Wardove, aks Alis, and her sister Alexis, "I, uhh, wanna aye-pologize fer ruinin' yer trip. Didn't mean ta do dat ta ya"

After they accept his apology, hopefully, he wanders to the docks, and says, "anybody wanna get a drink?"

Having spent the last hour or so 'On watch' Suny is wearing her Studded Leather armor. Once the ship finishes tying up at the docks and the party disembarks, the tall El gives one last sigh as she steps onto the dirt of the town, a single glance cast back over a shoulder before she walks along after every one else.

Seven Silvers Tavern
As your group walks to the tavern, children run about laughing as they try to catch fireflies while their parents discuss matters like farming, hunting and their plans for the coming week. More than a few folks stop to stare at Alis' flashy outfit only to receive a second surprise when they see Priyya in her exotic desert garb.

The tavern itself consists of two sizable building joined together in an L-shape. The southern wing is two-stories tall and built of white clapboard with black shutters. Judging by the number of dark windows, ou surmise that those must be guest rooms. Adjoined to it is an older predominantly one-story building with a large dormer overlooking the street and a deep covered porch lined with rocking chairs. The roof is supported by pillars of stacked grey stone while its walls are constructed of sturdy log timbers.

The sound of music, and the smell of grilled food wafts from its open doors, and a few locals tip their heads to you in welcome when you enter. Numerous tables fill the center of the room while the north wall is dominated by a raised stage on which performers are playing and singing folk melodies. The door thru which you enter is closer to the south side where a long bar abuts the newer wing.

Seeing you enter, a broad-shouldered middle-aged man with a ruddy complexion and thick brown hair hails you from behind the bar, "Welcome to Kassen and to Seven Silvers friends. Name's Trevlar and this here is my place. What can we do ya for?"

Suny smiles as she watches the children play. She stands at ease beside her friends as they enter the Tavern, happy to let Alis, Alexis, Priyya or Felmor take the led in any conversation.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1

Morgaard, after disembarking with the group and walking to the tavern, makes the room arrangements with a barmaid, then joins the others.

Conversation with barmaid:
You can hear Morgaard talking with the barmaid about keeping his room next to the Kirmoons and reserving rooms for the other party members on the 2nd floor of the inn.

I am off to bed, so you can NPC Morgaard into position with the others if needed. He'll eat and take tea/water - he does not drink alcohol on the job. :)

Felmor is staring to have second thought about this adventure he has found himself on. Wonder ifn mebbe it be better back at th' Limbo place. Back dere all ye had ta worry aboot wus a succubus. 'ere is a bunch 'o trouble.

Once arriving at the Tavern, he takes a seat at the bar, and says "Greetin' Trevlar, names Felmor, 'n i'll have ne ale, 'n whatever is on yo grill, 'cause that smells mouth waterin'!"

Once he has had something to eat, he will chat with Trevlar, to pick up whatever rumors are currently going around.

No sooner does everyone enter than Alis enterprises upon a recently vacated table near the stage and pulls Alexis, Suny, and Priyya along to watch the show as a particularly handsome troubadour takes center stage with his lute. Despite 9 hours of working sails and rigging, the young bard seems no worse for wear and her enthusiasm raises her sister's spirits too. Well, that and the bottle of wine and wheel of soft cheese and platter of fruit she orders...

Morgaard:
The barmaid happily blocks out a number of consecutive rooms for you and the rest of your group. The Kirmoons will be on the end of the hallway on the 2nd floor with you next to them. Rooms for the others will then begin on the opposite side of the hallway.

Felmor:
"Ale it is then! I'll get you a plate of our pulled venison, baked sugar-yams and fresh greens. Lots of seasoning in the venison so I'll be sure to keep your ale topped off!"

The sturdy mand shouts to the barmaid talking to Morgaard, "Asina, this good fellah is hungry and thirsty. I'll keep his throat slaked, you tend to his belly!"

"Now then," he continues, pouring himself a drink too, "you and your friends look like you come from the city back east. Came here for our little gambit, did ya? Well that's just dandy. Ol' Mayor Uptal will no doubt wanna talk to you folks first thing in the mornin'. Folks like you bring us good business so we'll treat ya right, count on that!"

A moment later, Asina returns with two plates of food, one for Felmor and another for Morgaard whose appetite was quick to return after setting foot on dry land again. "Hirschblut, and leave the bottle!" the dwarf calls out, an expectant look on his normally dour face. Casting a glance to Felmor, he bumps the sailor's arm with his elbow and sides him a shot glass full of the thick, dark liquor. "Bottoms up lad, this'll set wrongs aright!"

With that, the dwarf downs a double and smacks his lips in satisfaction. He gives a deep belly laugh and digs into the venison before him.

OK, need to catch a bit of rest here myself. Feel free to RP any encounters with the staff and patrons within reason. Once everyone's tuckered-out and gone to bed (or laid out hugging a privy), we'll leap frog to the next day. Zzzzz now...

Felmor eyes the shot glass dubiously, but then he notices the shakes beginning again.Ach, not gonna go back ta it again. He picks up the glass and downs the double shot in one swallow, and feels the black licorice taste assault his throat. Once that has gone down, the warmth spreads to his limbs and his belly. He then digs into the food, and feels better, the best since he left Limbo on this crazy trip.

He watches the ladies enjoying the show, and thinks, Well, me thinks that sounds like fun, but judgin' by this liquor, I'm got gonna be awake to enjoy the finale. Jes better concentrate on fillin' me belly.

He gestures to Morgaard for another refill.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1

Morgaard refils Felmor's glass with the hirschblut, the pours another for himself and any others who wish a glass. The dwarf never minds drinking with his meal, although his better judgment will keep him from drinking to much this evening. There is an adventure afoot, so he wants his mind to be clear on the morrow.

The dwarf digs into his meal; a portion that looks like it could fill the bellies of three grown men.

Felmor accepts the drink with a nod of thanks, and proceeds to down the next one, and then proceeds to eat his fill of the excellent food. Unlike Morgaard, Felmor feels no restraint, and soon he has another drink, practicing the time honored tradition of all sailors since the beginning of sea travel, the nautical tradition called Shore Leave.

Unless something occurs to interfere, like a monster attack or a tsunami, or something similarly earthshaking, he will be passed out in a couple of hours.

Her voice clear and cheerful as she talks to the other two half Elven women in their 'native' language. When she turns to include Priyya in the conversation the Brown skinned woman's' language definitely takes a different turn, becoming coarser and slower as Suny attempts to articulate her thoughts in a language Priyya can understand.

"The fellers' got a good set o' lungs on 'im, hey?" Suny leans towards Priyya, waving her tankard at the troubadour upon the stage.

"Aye, an' not a bad set t' th' rest o' his jib, neither." She chortles somewhat quieter, sharing her ideas upon the singers figure more reservedly.

Priyya really looks at the troubador for the first time. Her eyes sweeping him from top to bottom. It is an utterly unmaidenly look. From how the shadow liqueur was explained to me, things like libido would definitely be affected. But hey, you'll do whatever you want, right? Priyya can no doubt explain it better since their player invented the stuff.

Spoiler:
HP: 08/22, AC: 17(Max 21(T13,FF14), DR: 1(Water Based Critters), F:+4, R:+7, W:+2, Perc: +6, Init: +3.

Well "Personality shifting 180 Deg" would seem to indicate Suny starts thinking a mite more 'long term' than just picking at ideas moment to moment. ;) It's actually a slightly scary thought. :P

I'm assuming Suny is trying to play footsies with Priyya.

At the footsies attempt, Priyya's feet don't move but she tilts head and looks curiously at the Elf girl. Well, this is novel.

Overhearing the cleric's none-too-quiet sentiments, Alis comments, "Why Priyya, don't you know? We bards are some of the most competent individuals around!"

Priyya looks at Alis appraisingly. "Bards are useful. Normal singing is merely pleasant. I think he is a singer not a Bard. If he is a bard, his singing has failed to move me and I think, therefore, he must be a poor Bard at best... but he is pretty."

At the table-splitting episode

Priyya whirls around, blade still sheathed but ready. She glares at the men. Given the fey moods of the sisters and the growing inebriation of the tall Elf lass, Priyya decides her role has switched to 'bodyguard' to some extent. She sighs and takes her seat again.

RE: Shadow Liqueur - Suny, it is designed to let you stretch your RP legs by playing a bit against your type... but you, as the player, control in what ways the switch affects you. So, thinking about how you play Suny, you could make her more moody, possibly more discerning about who she is willing to sleep with. Hell, you could make her chaste and virginal... so that singer will have a hell of a time trying to get her out of her armor. It is up to you, what qualities of Suny you want to reverse or alter. Hell, since Suny isn't inclined to think about more than today and isn't particularly reflective on her life. You could make her utterly philosophical and appraising of her past choices. It is entirely up to you. But you don't have to change every aspect of her personality - just a key one or two. She could be optimistic, bubbly, AND chaste. That poor singer would have a challenge ahead of him.

Sense Motive (on the girls) 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Perception (on the girls) 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Watching the antics of the sisters, and well discerning the games they are playing, Priyya thinks And I thought Keleshite women were renowned for being mercurial and problematic!

Sense Motive 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (18) + 0 = 18
Knowledge Nobility 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28 as power-players surely I've heard at least something about House Avenstar, even if I'd never heard of Harrolayne

Wow, f***ing awesome. 2 killer rolls and they get wasted because the post monster decided to put them in here instead. WTF?
