Garith changes form and barely...barely jumps over the flow of lava trying to reach Pakak. He does though and the wily dwarf gives the holy warrior the gift of flight.

Maelchar uses the gift of the scale that he has kept with him to allow himself to levitate over the lava and move forward to attack the demon.

Nasira is paralyzed and unable share her thoughts on the matter, but invisibility is not the only possible explanation. Wait - can she channel while immobilized?

With everyone frozen for the time being except for Morgrym the demon takes the opportunity to do some dastardly evil tricks.

bull rush vs helpless Zeriax 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (13) + 18 = 31

Zeriax goes flying into the lava as his paralyzed body keeps him from resisting the bull rush. Knocked back 5ft he finds himself caught in a deep pool of lava sucking him in and threatening to drown him as well.

On Zeriax turn he takes 20d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 2, 5, 4, 2, 5, 6, 6, 3, 1, 5, 1, 3, 3, 1, 5, 4, 3) = 70 fire damage but will be able to climb out with a successful DC 10 swim check.

Good guys up for those that made their save against the blasphemy.

Looks like Nasira and Sorien are the 2 paralyzed still. Morgrym you know that the demon had to be next to Zeriax to push him into the lave. If he is still there though is a different matter.

An exact replica of the demon floating above Morgrym appears next to Maelchar. If Maelchar was lower and not levitating the demon would have been able to reach him and strike him down as he was casting.

With all the pent up rage at attacking worthless illusions and flying demons Morgrym unleashes it all in 3 brutal attacks on the demon. Even with all that power and training though he needed to use some extra force from within as he slammed his Earthbreaker shattering bones.

The demon recoiled in pain as he felt the bones break but the unholy demonic energies that support the Worldwound strengthens the demon as he look to retaliate back.

Sorry, I thought I posted something, but I guess it didn't take. Actually, the levitate idea sounds darn good since his dispel went flat so in away this works out!

Pakak, seeing Zeriax's plight casts levitate upon the monk, "Antigo lifwa" and pulls him up ....He looks at the priest of Erastil, "Hang fast, your soul is not damned yet."

Pakak makes quick work of the engulfed Zeriax as a levitation spell allows him to get out of the lava pool and saving his life.

With pakak's enchantment of flight, Gareth can make it to H4 to flank the demon with Morgrym with a Fleet Charge and swings hard with a mythic power attack

Morgrym has it on good authority that a 25 and a 26 were barely misses, so a mythic point spend on your 24 might turn that into a hit bypassing all DR.

Zeriax rises from the magma without a sound, in spite of the excruciating pain - his flesh is horribly burnt away in patches, and his visage completely marred.

Without a sound apart from the twang of his bow, he unleashes on the creature next to Morgrym.

Garith charges forward with his blade held high but the demon was too canny of an opponent to get caught by such a move. It dodged quickly out of the way of the first attack even when Garith tried to add his inner strength to the attack. The second blow was better placed. Zeriax rose from the depths of the lava bow humming as 2 arrows landed as well.

The demon screamed in pain as the blows rained in on him. He was used to stealth and subtlety not brute strength. Hoping to escape, recover and hunt the crusaders down the demon tried to teleport away.

will save 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18 barely escapes the aura from Garith...

The demon disappears from sight but where has he gone is the question...

You are covered in molten rock that is still hot enough to cause you harm. However, you are no longer immersed, so an argument could be made that the damage is no longer 10d6, but 1d6. YMMV

Should Nasira be making additional will saves to throw off the paralysis effect, like with hold person? Is Zeriax within 30' and within range of a channel?


Lava is nasty if submerged. 20d6 the guest round and halves every round after that. Nasir a you are paralyzed for 10 minutes but we will be out of rounds and time once zeriax is out of danger.
