Formatting for posts here is pretty simple. There are templates for it just below the input box for writing a post. The most used ones I'll demonstrate below.

"Bold text is for when your character speaks in the gameplay tab."

Italics is mostly used for character thoughts.

Out of character stuff uses the ooc format.

Secret don't look!:
You looked! Spoilers are mostly used by me to hide a wall of dice rolls or some information your character can't know unless certain parameters are met.

The last is dice rolls which you name for clarity. Sling Damage: 1d4 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 + 1 = 4 this one says I roll 1 four-sided dice then add or take away other bonuses or penalties such as those given for having high or low strength. Some spells also give bonuses to some rolls.

hi

Yay now we can get started.

Ok to explain the dice rolling feature on this site. :)

I'll break it down for you. Spaces are to break up the code. Don't put spaces in when you want to roll dice. Also the bold is just for emphasis.
[ dice] <--that is simply the starting method of using the dice roller.
Must use [ and ]. You can give it a name by typing =aname directly after dice. eg. [ dice=ClawAttack]

[ /dice] <--that tells the site that you are finished your dice roll.

In between the open dice and close dice statements above you say how many dice you want to roll. There is a number of dice followed by a 'd' then how many sides that dice has that you want to roll. So to roll a standard 6 sided die you would type 1d6 <-- 1 die of 6 sides. Other examples are, 2d6 <-- 2 dice of 6 sides, 1d10 <-- 1 die of 10 sides, 7d70 <-- 7 dice with each dice having 70 sides.

To use that last example to put it all together again.
[ dice=70x7]7d70[/dice]
without the first space I added to break it...
70x7: 7d70 ⇒ (61, 31, 16, 6, 26, 27, 51) = 218

So it's obviously simple. You get experience for completing quests, killing things, disarming traps and anything else noteworthy that I decide deserves it.

Right now you just got 200 experience so add a line to you character profile somewhere tracking that. When you get to 2,000 experience you get to level up and learn new druid abilities and cast more spells each day.
