"Yes," Thorgr answers. "We could have stayed in the room if you just wanted that."
He gives Frostine a playful swat on her bottom.
Giving him a slightly pouty look she says, "I don't know...I can't really think of anything we really need to look for. I don't know...I just wanted to spend some time with you and walk around a bit. It's not like I had anything in mind really."
Thorgr nods and gives Frostine a kiss on the forehead. "I know there's not much here. So we'll just walk around."
She smiles and gives him a squeeze as they walk together.
After about thirty minutes of walking she stops for a minute, "I wish there was a park, or a fountain, or...I don't know...something somewhere that we could just sit at for a little while. I know it's not the same as...well, anywhere that we've been really...but at least we're together right?" She asks as she leans against his chest while wrapping her arms around him.
"I wish I had some playing cards," Jerrica says a few minutes after Frostine and Thorgr leave.
"It's a cave," Thorgr remarks. "We can go sit at the dock where we got off the boat."
"That would definitely liven things up a bit. Or dice. Maybe someone at the tavern has." Sig suggests.
"Or that general store," Jerrica says.
She nods, "Okay love."
Thorgr walks with Frostine to the dock and sits down with her. "Someday we'll have a nice home above ground."
Sitting next to him she lays her head against his shoulder while putting an arm loosely around his waist as she leans against him, "I like being above ground....but anywhere is home to me as long as you're with me. I know this isn't ideal....and I know I've been pretty moody lately...it's just hard when you can't see the sun and moon. At least we got a map now and we know where we're headed....so there's that, and hopefully this will help resolve a lot of the issues. I'm hoping we can resolve most of the issues with as little violence as possible. I just want to know what they're up to and see if something can be done that doesn't involve trying to wipe all of them out, or get any of us severely injured or worse." She says as she thinks back to some of their more recent battles.
"We can go check it out." Sig suggests.
"That sounds like as good an idea as any." Dagmarr adds.
Jerrica smiles. "Alright then."
She holds the door open for Sig and Dagmarr.
Thorgr nods solemnly.
Looking out across the water she continues to hold his hand, "So...what are you thinking about?"
"Just wondering what's next is all," Thorgr says. "And when we'll get to go home."
Leaning against him she smiles, "Well, we're gonna go deal with these elves and find out what's going on there, and then we're gonna clear out the rest of that mine for them....so really...unless there's something else that comes up, I think that's about it right?" She was really feeling off without the sun or moon to tell her what time of day it was and she really missed the feel of the warmth on her face. Snuggling into his side she yawns a little, "I"m not sure how long it'll really take....but as long as we'er together, it'll be okay. I love you Thorgr..." She says before yawning again and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you too," Thorgr says. "Want to head back?"
She kind of shrugs, "We can...I mean, I don't know really what else to do. It's not like we can watch a sunset together or anything. Sitting here looking at the water is just making me kind of sleepy, but I think it's too early to go to sleep...." Tilting her head up to look at him she asks, "What do you want to do?"
Thorgr lightly nibbles Frostine's earlobe. "I can think of something."
She giggles as she playfully pushes him away while blushing deeply, "Mmmhmm....is that so?" She says a bit breathily.
Thorgr nods. "You might enjoy it."
Getting a coy smile on her face she feigns surprise, "Why Thorgr Finnisson...are you trying to seduce me?" She asks before another fit of giggles escapes her. Thinking for a moment she says, "You know...maybe we should give them a break from listening to us "enjoying each other". Do you think we could find a room in an Inn or something? I don't plan on being quiet." She says, her deep blue eyes searching his to see what he thinks of her idea. True it wasn't completely "private", but at least they wouldn't be worrying about the others hearing them and could let loose a little bit.
Thorgr chuckles. "I don't know if they have an inn, love, but I don't mind sparing them our cries of passion."
Letting go of him she scoots back a little so he had room to get up, "You might have to help me up, then we can see if this town has such a thing." She says with a smile before giving him a slow sweet kiss on the lips before moving out of his way.
Thorgr stands up and offers Frostine his hand.
Taking his hand, she lets him help her up.
Thorgr puts an arm around Frostine as they walk away from the river.
As he puts his arm around her, she sighs and leans into him as they walk together.
As they walk together she looks up at him, "So, are we gonna see if this town has an Inn or some place a little more....private?" She asks with a slight giggle.
"We could ask Bruldora," Thorgr says.
Jerrica walks into the general store and starts browsing.
Thinking she nods her head, "Okay, I just want to make sure she knows that we appreciate them giving us a place to stay and that us wanting a night of privacy has nothing to do with them. I'm sure she'll understand, it's just...you know." She says in way of explanation.
"Yeah, I know," Thorgr responds.
She continues on with him to the house.
Thorgr holds the door open for Frostine as they reach Bruldora and Galdur's house.
Going inside she calls out though not too loudly, "Bruldora, are you still here?"
Bruldora waves from the couch. "Yes, I'm here. Galdur went to run some errands."
Going to their hostess she takes a seat on the couch as she fusses with the hem of her dress, "Ummm...Bruldora, we were just wondering...with it being our wedding night and all, and not wanting to ummm...disturb anyone, we were just wondering if there was some kind of Inn...or some place that you knew of that was more private? We really appreciate everything you've both done for us since we got here....we just...kinda want to be alone tonight." She says as she stumbles a bit over her words.
"We don't have an inn, dear," Bruldora says. "It's rare that we get guests down here. However, there is a private cottage near the edge of town. I keep it up for whenever we do have weddings. Most young couples don't have their own place when they get married."
She pulls a solid iron key from one of her pockets. "Here you go. It's down by the river, so you can't miss it."
Her eyes misting she takes the key from Bruldora before giving her real heartfelt hug, "Oh thank you...thank you so much. I just love you right now!" She says excitedly as she holds the key out and turns to face Thorgr, "See....we get a place to ourselves for the whole night. Let's go!" She says, the happiness and excitement in her voice unmistakable as she takes him by the hand and nearly drags him out of the house in her excitement.
Thorgr nearly loses his balance as Frostine pulls him out the door. "Slow down. We have time."
Stopping she looks up at him sheepishly, "Ohhh sorry honey, I guess I just got caught up."
Thorgr gives Frostine a broad grin. "I bet you did."
Giving him a grin of her own she slaps his behind playfully, "Not like you weren't thinking about it yourself mister." She wags her eyebrows at him in an exaggerated manner before resuming her brisk pace towards the little cottage.
Thorgr takes in the little cottage as they approach it. "This is really nice."
She nods and lets out a happy sigh, "Yeah, it really is."
Coming up alongside Jerrica Sig asks "Find anything interesting?"
