Nym Vallidorn |
"A thank you is more than enough lady," Nym says to the ghost, doffing his cap and giving her a bow as she departs. He follows the rest out of Harrowstone quietly, glad to have come through this experience whole, educated, and amongst a solid band of heroes.
Aldous Preklikin |
@Wren: I have kept the treasure sheet updated as each item has been discovered. The link is still available on Aldous' page :-)
Aldous nods.
"We will be sure to let Ravengro know that The Five have been exorcised from this place. Hopefully, with the Evil gone, the region will once again be safe."
Did anyone wish to claim any of the three items we discovered? I would not mind the ring, but if no-one speaks up, we can just liquidate the items :-P
Andrea Greenholt |
Andrea would quite like the dagger
On returning to town Andrea goes to see Father Grimbarrow and explains that the remains of Versorianna and her husband can now be safely collected from the Prison. She expresses to him also her view that the cursed place should be demolished to prevent it becoming a posible base for someother threat to the town.
Wren the FeatherMage |
Thank you, Mr. Aldous. Wren would like nothing more than the remains of the spellbook.
Upon returning to town, she will go with others to visit Father Grimburrow (they are *such* good friends after all).
Of course the Father will want to know that I am safe...he dotes on me so.
Wren will hand the Father the Splatterman's spellbook.
"Father, would you mind looking at this. It belonged to the Splatterman. We believe him to be defeated, but this spellbook affected me...it attached itself to my mind. Do you think there are lingering effects of the Splatterman in the book? Should I fear keeping it...or worse, selling it? I hate it to come to harm others. Should it be destroyed or is it free of influence?"
p.s. Fraust, thanks for your kind words in the other thread. Like you said, I don't ram my ideas upon anyone. I'm very happy when people play as they wish.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
The Father Grimburrow looks at the book. "As far as curses go - they often are difficult to spot. It is best if you leave the book here for a day and I will take care it won't hurt anyone anymore."
He then listens to your story
"It might be wise if all your friends come to the church as well. There is no hurry. But once I'm done with the book I might check each individual of them for any lingering after effects. Better save as sorry. And even if I was unable to protect Ravengro from the evil of Harrowstone. I don't want to be blamed to let anything escape with you beyond this town."
Galadan Teresthin |
Galadan had accompanied Wren, if only to pay his respects at the altar and leave a small donation. He retrieves the Lopper's axe and also hands it to the priest.
"This was the Lopper's. I have no need for it, and am only too grateful to remove it from my presence. It is also cursed. But even if we were to accidentally take one of Harrowstone's evils with us, I do not think you will be held accountable."
Thod, also see spoiler above/on provious page
Wren the FeatherMage |
Wren is happy to leave the spellbook with Father Grimburrow.
"Thank you, Father. You attentions to your good friends are appreciated. Let me tell you what I know of the book and items in case there is something therein that might help you." Wren will begin go to prattle what she knows of the book (and axe) including, if left to ramble, details about the spells as well.

Wren will pass by the offering plate without a second glance as Galadan makes his donations.
