She nods and gives him a smile, "Yeah...mama told me you were wanting to talk to me. Is everything alright?"
"Oh, yes, everything is alright," Halfpocket says. "I think I'll need you to start tomorrow. Several people have already come in buying gifts and asking for wrapping services. So, I'll have a bit for you to do in the morning."
The smile on her face gets a little wider and she has to restrain herself from jumping up and down, "Really? That's great, so what time would you like me here in the morning or would you like me to just come by after breakfast?"
"Around eight will be fine," Halfpocket says.

She nods while smiling up at Dillon before looking back at Halfpocket, "Oh thank you Halfpocket, I'll see you in the morning then." Taking Dillon's hand in hers she says in a happy excited voice, "I just can't wait to tell mama and the others about my new job."
"I'm sure everyone will be happy for you," Dillon says with a smile.
Taking his hand she smiles up at him happily as they leave and head back to her house, "Did you want to come back over for a little bit or do you need to get home? I know you need your rest to keep up with those kids." She says as she stretches up to give his cheek a kiss.
"I'll probably head on home. My work week isn't done yet," Dillon says.
She nods, "That's fine love. Would you like me to walk you home before I head back to my house?"
"Sure, I love spending time with you."
She makes a happy giggling sound as she leans into him as they walk together, "I love spending time with you too Dillon. Even if it's just dinner with my folks and a walk. I just really like being with you."
Dillon smiles. "You'll have to set some time aside for me with your new job and all."
Looking at him as they walk hand in hand she gives his hand a little squeeze, "I will always have time for you Dillon Nivous. When I talk to mama and the others though I'll have to let Kama and Elena know and then I'll talk to Mr. Halfpocket in the morning and see if I can take my break around ten or so, so I can meet them at Hadrinn's to taste their cake samples. I will always have time for you, for Juhi, my sisters, mama, and auntie Priya though...always." She says fervently.
"Oh, I'm not really worried that you'd forget about all of us," Dillon says, returning the squeeze.
She nods, "Good...because it would totally never happen. I know that providing the town with food for the winter is a good thing...but I like the idea of doing something that will help us financially as well."
Dillon nods. "It's a good thing. Looks like this is my stop."
He steps up on the porch and unlocks the door. "I hope you have fun tomorrow."
She nods, "You have a good day tomorrow too and I'll tell you all about it later. Maybe over dinner?" She poses with a sweet smile before stepping up to him on the porch and putting her arms around him in a warm embrace, "I love you." She says before stretching up to give him a kiss goodnight.
Dillon chuckles. "Dinner tomorrow sounds good and I love you too."
Stepping back from the embrace and kiss she gives him a little smile, "Have a good rest love and I'll see you tomorrow night." She says as he opens his door. Waving to him she heads back home to tell her family the news.
Getting back home she goes inside, "I'm back."
"Welcome back," Elena says. "Was it good news?"
She nods while looking a little excited, "Mr. Halfpocket has had so much business that he's asked me to start my job tomorrow. He asked me to come in at eight, and I told Hadrinn we'd come by for the tasting around mid morning, so I'll just let Mr. Halfpocket know that I'm helping you with your wedding cake and need to take a break around ten to meet you at Hadrinn's so we can taste his samples of cake. Is that okay with you Elena?"
"That's fine," Elena says. "I'm glad you're excited."
Looking over at her mother she says, "I know I'll be a little busier now, but I'll still make time to train Juhi too. I was thinking I could take her out for lessons after I get off work, before dinner?" She asks as she tries to work out in her head how she's gonna make time for everyone and everything she still wanted to do. Giving her sister a smile she nods, "Thanks Sis, I really appreciate the support."
"Juhi's training isn't the most important thing and, with the weather getting colder, I think once a week would be fine," Asha says. "Perhaps on one of your days off."
She thinks about it for a bit before nodding, "You're probably right mama. I wouldn't want her to get sick or anything. Okay...as long as she's alright with that I'm pretty sure that will work out well. We can do it twice a week if there's some days that aren't quite so cold...but we might be headed for a really bad winter so we'll just see what happens. Do you think I should go talk to her about it?" She asks while taking off her boots and cloak and putting them away by the door.
Asha nods. "It would probably be a good idea."
Rajni gives them a smile and nods before heading upstairs with Shamara to find Juhi. She goes in the bedroom first.
Juhi, dressed for bed, straightens out the covers.
Going over to her own bed she sits down on it, "Hey Juhi, I need to talk to you a minute about your training. Mr. Halfpocket offered me a job at his store and I start working there tomorrow morning. I've been talking to mama and with the weather getting colder we thought maybe it would be a good idea to go down to once a week with your training, maybe twice if the weather isn't too cold. I just...I don't want to risk you getting sick, but I still fully intend on training you...if you still want to. What do you think?" She explains, while trying to be as clear as possible. She didn't want Juhi to think that she was just going to forget about her.
"I think that's fine," Juhi says. "Auntie Priya is thinking about getting people together for a school at home. She used to teach some things."
She nods her head, "I think that would be a wonderful idea. I know Arista was going to talk to Jelks and Barclay about getting some kind of school house built and a preschool/daycare for smaller children since there will be so many of them soon. Yeah...I think it would be great if you could find friends closer to your own age and an education is very important. We'll still make time for your training too though okay?" She gives her little sister a smile, "Are you getting ready to go to bed now? Did you want a story before you went to sleep?"
"Mmhmm, I'm pretty sleepy," Juhi says, stifling a yawn. "I'd love a story, please."
She waits until Juhi gets comfortable underneath the blankets before sitting on the edge of the bed, "Alright, once upon a time in a land far away there used to be an ugly ogre and a beautiful princess..." She sits on the bed while Shamara lays next to Juhi and tells her the story about how the ogre saved the princess from a terrifying dragon and how they fell in love. After about twenty minutes, Juhi is snoring softly as Rajni finishes the story, "So....they got married, had many children, and lived happily ever after." Leaning down she gives Juhi a kiss on her forehead, "Sweet dreams little sister." She says softly as she gets up carefully off of the bed and tucks Juhi in. Turning down the lamp she closes the door most of the way as she goes out of the room, leaving her sleeping kitty with her little sister.
Going back downstairs she puts the kettle on for some tea.
"Juhi asleep?" Elena asks.
She nods while getting down a cup and a tea bag, "Yeah, we talked, I told her a story and she passed out. She was pretty sleepy."
Elena nods. "That's good."
Once the water is hot enough she pours some in the cup and adds the tea bag to it. Once it's steeped long enough she adds some honey and milk to it before sitting at the table with it. Taking a couple of sips she looks at her other sisters, "So....did your ink arrive yet?"
Elena shakes her head.
She sips on her tea, "Oh...well, I'm sure it'll be here soon. Let's see, we have the cake tasting tomorrow, mama and auntie are working on your dresses...and you're going to be making paper flowers? Is there anything we're forgetting?"
"I don't know. Kama?"
"Hhhmmmm.....not that I can think of. Music maybe?" Kāma Súndari
She nods, "Yeah...I wonder where we can find someone to perform? Jelks is really good and I know she's been working with some students. Maybe we can talk to her in a day or so and see if we can work something out?" She kind of stretches and yawns before finishing her tea.
Elena shakes her head. "I wouldn't want to bother her. She's been very busy as of late."
She thinks for a little bit, "Well...we still have a little time to figure it out. Maybe we can find someone else who is good with music? Surely with all the people that have been arriving here almost daily, there has to at least be one that perform some kind of music...don't you think so?" She ponders aloud. She just wanted everything to be perfect for her sister's wedding. She could worry about hers later.
"Probably," Elena says. "Have you met any musicians at work, Kama?"
"There are a few actually, and I've taught them a few Deshuri ssongss to accompany my dancing. I can probably teach them a traditional wedding ssong or two for specific moments. I’ll ask thiss evening.” Kāma answers after a bit of thought.
Elena nods. "Sounds good."
She nods before getting up and giving each of her sisters a hug, "Alright, since we have that all sorted out for now I think I'll go up and take a bath before getting ready for bed. I need a good nights sleep if I'm gonna be up that early for my new job." She says while not being able to keep the smile off of her face.
"Okay," Elena says. "Good night, Rajni."
Bidding her sisters good night she heads up to the bathroom and takes her time bathing, scrubbing every inch of herself until it feels like her skin tingles. After rinsing off she washes and rinses her hair before finally letting the water drain out of the tub and getting out to dry herself off.
Once dry she changes into her sleep set and puts the dirty towels into the basket before going to the room she shares with Juhi and laying down in her bed. After being in her bed for a few minutes Shamara jumps up next to her and lies down. Rajni falls asleep with her hand resting on her feline companions head, a small smile on her lips as she drifts off.
