yes the point of investigations are:

The brooch => Menach
The murder near the crimson tavern
The overzealous skullkiller who iced one of their members who was going to pul the plus on them.


Right so we have a meeting with Menach. and the question is where?

The murder in East Shore will be tricky to investigate after dark with the curfew, and I dont suspect you'll be going there before going to Menach..and the guardsmans murder you have 2 avenues of investigation as I see it....either go back to Grangs after dark and bust in to see if theres anything else the body can tell you, or during the day...visit his home or the guards again.

once again we get back to what to do in the evening.

Choice A) Crimson Cup
Choice B) Grangs
Choice C) Sleep & Rest


if none of those---Then I figure you'll be going to Menachs first thing in the morning

quick - someone ask him if anyone in his family is really unlucky and bears the name Atter.

If he asks why, you could just say 'just curious... gnome atter what he does he just can't catch a break...' and hope he has a sense of humour... :D or we could find out what that green thing is in the xbow bolt...

You could threaten him and if he claims to have no knowledge of Gnome Uhnee, you could show him Gnome Ercy until he shouts Gnome Ore.

Lets just say...better be something worth letting the whole underworld of the city know you guys work together.

Its not everyday a crew this motley crosses over as one entity into the slums of Old Korvosa. Id say there are very very few interested parties that are not aware of your affiliation now. Make it count.


I havent wanted to speak up to prod or point but I should mention Tolenn knows Lord Bromathan who is a Cleric of Saranrae, and hes the Patriarch of House Bromathan which could just as easily gain you an audience...which if Ashimar is worried about Lady Zenderholm's questions.....

@Akrem - Cedric just moved to M10... ;)

@Jarrin - the critters only have a 5ft range on land... move back a bit more and they won't be able to catch up to attack you. They're more of a nuisance rather than any real threat... take em down w/ range and just dance around them.


Well then I guess Akrem'dar will head to the other spot taken up by the unconscious guy.

Just a quick note folks - this weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving so I will be out and about until Tuesday. I'll try and keep up with posts over the weekend but no long updates will be incoming on my part until I'm back and on a real laptop as opposed to a tablet.

It wont take me long to get settled...but please bear with me if things stay slow for a couple more days. Thanks for the understanding. My old company got bought out and when the turmoil started I opted to leave the few minor perks (like my own office and being able to post during the day) for someplace with a better pay plan and more business...especially when it looked like those few perks were going away anyway.

Ill try and make sure I post once a day..Probably in the evenings.
