”Mmmmm…so tempting, Vous êtes si mauvais mon loup.” Amélie purrs. Shaking her head she steps back with great difficulty. ”There’ll be plenty of time later…….and after we move my things, …..well…… you’ll be able to howl all you like.” she says scratching the tip of his nose with a laquered fingernail.
Rajni looks down as she pets Shamara and tries not to cry. She didn't know if what he said was true....she hoped it was, but there were so many things she didn't understand. Elena and her family had taken her in, without question without judgement....but...did she really belong here? There were so many people showing up, almost on a daily basis now. She tried to stay away from most of them and kept to herself pretty much during the day. There were those that didn't look kindly upon her kind and she didn't want to cause any trouble for those that had taken her in.
She burys her face in Shamara's soft coat for a few minutes before looking back up, her face mostly obscured by the hood of her cloak.
"I...I don't know if I can. I'm not even sure if....if I should really be here. My....my parents were killed by...shadow orcs when I was very young and....well, it's not important, but I don't want anything happening to the people here who...who have been so kind to me."
"میں نے پہلے آپ کی آواز کبھی نہیں سنا ہے. کیا آپ کے والد کی طرح بات نہ کرو," Alisbeth says, weeping.
Draconic:
"I've never heard your voice before. You don't sound like Father."
Meanwhile (Rajni):
Marcel looks at Rajni. "I'm here to make sure that the people of Valwick stay safe. I know it's hard to trust my words, but I am Captain of the Guard here. I've known many people, Rajni, I've been able to see qualities in them that they don't see in themselves. I've also trained people to push beyond the limits they set upon themselves. You look trained, but you don't seem you're there completely. Would you like to train some more?"
"And I'm sure those senses tell you exactly what you do to me." she says, proudly walking arm in arm toward the Old Fish. It was truly amazing how much her life had changed in the past few weeks. Coming to Valwick was turning out to be the best decision of her life.
"I have a pretty good idea," Gerard says before stopping suddenly and turning Amélie to face him. "Listen, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. I just wanted you to know how special you really are."
He leans a bit to kiss her firmly on the mouth. "You...awakened something in me. Something good."
Michael watches as Alisbeth calms down further, finally falling back asleep. Looking at Elsa, he gestures to the next room silently and walks out of the room.
Michael closes the door behind Elsa quietly. "We hardly know anything about her, but it's becoming clear she can't stay here. She's upsetting the other students and she's capable of tremendous destruction. I would say we look into her mother but I don't even know where to start."
Amélie savors the kiss, returning it with equal passion. "You are un homme bon, A good man Gerard, you just needed to be reminded of it. No one has ever made me feel as special as you do Gerard. You fulfill in me, needs I didn't know I had. You make me feel safe, I will be very glad to share a home with you my wolf."
"I just came to check up on ya before bed, I'll see you tomorrow Drago." Seeing the Drow was unarmed and unlikely to be a threat Cyna bids the two goodnight and returns to her fiance and the others.
Rajni looks up, surprise as well as confusion showing inn her expression. "You...you could do that? I know I have to be stronger....." She looks back down.
After bidding Marcel a good night, Rajni wraps her arms around Shamara while burying her face in Shamara's fur as she cries. Maybe there was still some hope for her afterall.
Having woken up around sunrise, Sādhanā chuckles to herself at the groans of protest that follow the light streaming in. Sitting quietly on her bed, she studies her spellbook, preparing for what the day may bring.
Ylrhea gets out of bed with a dour expression on her face and starts brushing her hair and putting it up. "We should see if there's anything to eat in that kitchen or if it's just twigs and berries."
Arista sighs and gets out of the bed, padding her way softly over to Ylrhea and gives her a hug, "I'm sorry, I wasn't giggling cuz of what Sienna said, I just think it's funny when you flip her off. I've never seen that gesture before and I thought it was....cute. That's all...honest. Here Ill look for some food. Maybe I can make a decent breakfast here."
Glancing over at Ylrhea, a twinge of sadness from her previous night's dream passes through Sādhanā, as she belatedly realizes the point to Sienna's wisecrack.
"Doesn't another midwife mean another Summoner? I guess they're seeking him out. How the hell does damn near everything have absolutely no problem finding us all the time?" the magus' musings turn into a minor rant.
