Who wants to do the talking? I've got Diplomacy +6. (It's something I intend to invest in; I want to be the *friendly* Paladin.)

On another topic: was I around for enough of Stolen Heir to get credit for it? If so, where should I find the chronicle sheet? (A bug at the back of my brain suggests to me that I may have already had this conversation, and I'm being flaky by forgetting it.... I have gotten very bad at keeping up with the flood of email that's always incoming.)

If I have that sheet, I should be level 2, and will insta-level-up if the GM doesn't mind.

If Verrix wants backup on the Diplomacy, Iovo could do that. She has a fair chance of success on the Aid Another.

Otherwise, I would say let Verrix and Damiar do the talking.

We can all do remebrances can’t we? There’s not a limit of just one. Verrix certainly can use his diplomacy with aids. Damiar wants to use Perform Oratory for a poem.

The bigger question for me is do we play the political game? Do we mention Metella or dwarvish things, or do we play this straight and just praise Zarmina? I do feel a bit hampered that we did not know her personally.

How are you guys making your text smaller? Forum tags are wholly undocumented (except for the "How to format your text" thing which doesn't even show for me when I click it, but looking at the page source only talks about bold, italic, and strikethrough). I've tried [size=-1] and [small].

I also didn't see anything in the docs about Oladon's extension.

^I've been playing Pathfinder for a little over 4 years now and I still forget that Taking 10/Taking 20 is a thing unless reminded or the party's doing a sweep of an area. So don't feel bad :)

I wouldn't call it stupid. It might be foolish at times, but not stupid. It really depends on if there is something to be gained by exceeding the required amount by a lot, and if you have reason to believe your Take 10 is enough to succeed.

There are also some people that always want to roll.

Dice hate me, so I will almost always Take 10 if allowed. I really don't like feeling totally incompetent at a skill I've invested in, and rolling tends to make me feel that way.

This raises a point that I think I muddled for you during the mingling: Your goal here is to get them to like Aaqir and want to talk trade with him, rather than to like you. If one of them likes Aaqir, then mission accomplished on that NPC, regardless of how they feel about you.

So, are we still fatigued if we have healed all the non-lethal damage?

Normally it takes an 8 hour rest, but normally a hot wind isn’t enough to cause fatigue.

Your fatigue goes away when you recover from the nonlethal damage, just like heatstroke.
