Hey guys. This is the discussion thread for the next high level PFS PBP. I believe we currently have three level 5s, a level 6, and a level 7 character. Correct me if I am wrong.

I think we are looking at a Tier 5-6 scenario, though we could possibly do a Tier 6-7 if some of you want to play up. I am open to suggestions. What do you all what to play? Once we have decided on a scenario I will make this a campaign and create the gameplay thread.

I am not recruiting openly for this PBP. We have five characters and we can run with that. However, if one of you has a friend that would be interested in joining, let me know. We can fit in a sixth if there is someone you want to game with.

Well the only scenarios left for me to play in that range are the newest ones, like The Sanos Abduction, or The Green Market. So my vote is one of those.

Yandu will be level 6 - I guess he is still counted as a level 5 - just need to update him once the chronicle arrives.

I just checked - I'm signed up for Green Market at a Convention in 2 weeks - but there are alternatives for that slot - so I could change it.

Sanos Abduction also works for me.

There are quite a lot more that work for me but it won't help if others can't make it.

Sanos Abduction works for me. I'm *mostly* in the boat of only being able to play the new stuff. There are a few here in there in Seasons 2 & 3, but not many.

Ok, we will tentatively look at The Sanos Abduction and see what the other two have to say.

Hi, all! Chiming in at the request of GM Brute Squad, who's graciously invited me in -- either cos of my sparkling wit or cos I'm nearly constantly online. (Smart money would be on the latter.) Please be gentle. ;-)

I've played Sanos, unfortunately. If we're looking at Year 4s, I have not yet played 4-03 (Golemworks) or 4-06 (Green Market), plus you can add 4-08 (Cultist's Kiss), 4-09 (Blakros Matrimony), and 4-10 (Feast of Sigils) to that.

Within the level range indicated, I have a level 6 Magus and a level 5 archer-based Inquisitor.

So, The Green Market is a possibility?

Has someone played The Golemworks Incident already?

This suggestion may be a little off the wall, but another option would be the Thornkeep: The Dark Menagerie level. I have not read through the PDF of the level yet, but I have a copy.

I understand if that is something you want to experience in person.

I have not played in any of the mentioned scenarios so any and all are good for me. Erin is still level 5 after goblin guild.

Gm, I also have a RL friend that would be interested if there is room. I believe he is currently playing Ernest in the Dalsine Affair scenario you are currently participating in. If we are full already though it is cool.

Thunderspirit, you mentioned not wanting to start until the other PBP you are in is over. Are you still feeling that way or is ‘almost over’ sufficient? I suspect it well be over in a week-ish.

Superb, superb, you might still have room. This is Ernest, from the Dalsine Affair. I have yet to play Green Market. My primary issue is the only level 6 that I haven't lost the sheets for is a "Trap disablin' and Spot" beast, which is pretty much Erin's job.

My Cloistered Cleric of Abadar is 4th and needs only 2 credits to hitting 5th. We play weekly on Thursday and only one the kiddies there are higher than 6th, so I'm pretty much guaranteed to get one GM credit a week that can I can apply to her. Additionally, I may be able to persuade the Rogue Trader Sunday game to playing a PFS scenario this week instead so I can get into this. Plus, it looks like you guys could use th' heals, and that's precisely what she's 1/3rd built for (1/3rd is a few Hold Person's at a moderately good DC a day and the last 1/3rd is Diplomacy.) I'd have to scan her sheets in, but barring you guys just wanting a Lucky Halfling, she's the best shot I have for playing with you guys.

EDIT: Situation: fixed. I will be able to get 2 more credits on my Cleric by the end of the week. I am gonna go through the process of scanning all her sheets now. Changing post to represent character.

Though, it's a little creepy that you have the same avatar as the last Cleric we had in the group...

At least it's not the pregen Cleric's picture. I'll look again, if I get bored enough, but Keleshite Clergy pics are hard to come by without being the pregen. And with our penchant for killing her in the most interesting way possible in every scenario in our group, I'm not risking that with my 10 Con.

Sheets are all scanned in and are in the process of being uploaded to my profile. Looking at my sheets, I am reminded that at least a few of my friends are as lazy as I, and have yet to report a certain Shades of Ice pt III (in which a certain Taldan decided it was a good idea to hit on the Qadiran Cleric. Could he have had his fatigue cured, thanks to a certain Community domain power? Yes, but his damn pride came first, apparently.)

In short, Amira will be 5th level on Thursday, and Taldans need to learn to keep it in their pants.

I'm good to go — you're correct that the other PBP should be wrapped up shortly, so we can get this one rolling.

Rosham, my Magus, is a Taldor factionist, whose presence will undoubtedly, um, "entertain" Amira; and KULIK, my half-orc archer Inquisitor, is Andoran. I can play either one.

Well if Taldan's could keep it in their pants, we'd have no more Taldans.

No problem at all to change Green Market. It is a Warhorn sign-up with two new scenarios in the same slot.

My vote would be for the Inquisitor. I have not seen one in high level play yet.

Inquisitors can get pretty grotesque higher up in my experience.

Inquisitors are really good once they get going. I vote the inquisitor as well.

The best part about Inquisitors is the fact that if you DID mess up, there's a good chance you can fix it with a swift action.

Thanks to a Clerical Error in communication, I'm now 5th level! Alias is updated to 5th level. Also, you know that magical moment when you find an avatar that nearly 100% matches your mental picture of your character? That's such an awesome feeling.

Any chance we can hold off "Truly Starting for purposes of earning chronicles" for about 12 hours? As stated before, I have one GM credit that I'll be getting tonight, and I have a horrible, horrible plan for it if I can get it on Amira before we "lock-in."

I knew updating everything on my phone would result in missing SOMETHING.

I have the important stuff up to date for Bishop. I haven't included his animal companion stuff. If you're okay with it, I'll simply either e-mail my sheet or take a picture of it. Either way, Bishop is ready to lock in.

The only possible contentious bit is the Shadow Form evolution. It comes from the Advanced Race Guide in the Fetchling section. But the way I read the additional sources it isn't marked as not allowed and according to PFSRD it is available for any summoner - albeit more common for Fetchling summoners.

ThorGN - let me know if you read this different. And yes - can be a pain that I have 20% miss chance.

Everyone else - this makes Anya even more useless in melee (half damage of already lousy damage) but she can now attack incorporeal creatures and she isn't inclined to go hand to hand (claw to hand) if she is able to avoid it anyhow.
But I see her true strength elsewhere anyhow. Yep - Erin is covering most rogue areas - but she is always there to assist / as backup. And she might be able to get to places where Erin can't get (easily).

If you guys wouldn’t mind talking amongst yourselves a bit more and introducing your characters to each other, I’m prepping to run a session on Sunday on top of an already busy weekend. It would be nice for me if I can wait to get things started in earnest until Monday morning.

No problems. You know me, I always like to get the rp kicked off before the scenario starts.
