"I have a horn already, was mostly just hoping to add embellishments to it."
Alexos gestures to the minotaur horn on his hip, a patch of hippogryph fur along where you would hold it while drinking.
"I was thinking about placing its fangs along the mouth of it after we kill it... speaking of which, can someone kindly do that please?"
Ting Tang

Ting, keeping his eye on the iron cobra, nervously responds to Alexos' and Felictas' conversation.
oy, 'ows about a cobra shaped swizzly stick wit' an elfy-arrow handle, wroight
who needs little umbrella's ;)
Ting Tang

I believe after Sefu
Given the confined nature of the space, Alexos will simply watch unless the snake escapes the room, at which point he will engage it. Translation: Bot me as waiting/defering/whatevering each round as long as it is in the 5 ft. square room.Alexos
and Hans had delayed until the cobra followed ting out of the 5ft. room, so he could get a flank on it.
So Sefu then the snake, at least I think that's right
GM Baerlie

Which means that if everybody waits for the snake to come out it's round 2 and the snake's turn now. I hope I got this correct.
The cobra crawls out of the room and bites Ting again.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 + poison
Round 2
Cobra
Ting
Viincent
Felicitas
Sefu
Hans
Alexos
The map is very unclear at this arey, the square are all cut somehow. I moved Ting a bit so I can put the cobra between Ting and Hans. They are flanking on both sides of the door.

Thanks
Ting, trying not to damage Alexos' swizzle stick to much, attacks the snake again with sword and beak,
sword attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 2 = 18 for damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
beak attack: 1d20 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (15) - 1 + 2 = 16 for damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
don't know if the sword hit, not going to move so Hans will have a flank, ;-)
Ting Tang
|
aah, that's why ting hit but didn't hurt... or since Alexos wants it for his coffee mug, Hans could grab it and throw it to Alexos, ...just looking out for you Alexos :)
| Standard Pregen |
Unfortunately, trying to grab it would provoke, as Hans does not have Improved Grapple :-/
Nodding his thanks to Ting Tang for the flank, Hans roars, and hacks away at the snake!
Greatsword, Rage, Flank: 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 2 + 2 = 26, for 2d6 + 10 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1) + 10 + 3 = 16 damage.
Ting Tang
|
ok with me, if we get tired of whacking at it ting can try the grapple since he has the higher armor class for the provoke. Out of curiosity would it be one round; grapple to attack and toss as a move action or two rounds; both the grapple and toss as attacks?
Ting Tang

I started this before I saw Hans post, I think he is right but this is what I found/think :)
the problem is were on a ledge, your only 5 ft. from it, but you would need to go through tings square, then the cobras square into the room it came out of, Hans is on its other side, if you have skill in acrobatics you can move through the cobras square, then once inside the room you would have to strike at it through the doorway, little reward/lots of risk
(this is a quote from the pfsrd)
In addition, you can move through a threatened square without provoking an attack of opportunity from an enemy by using Acrobatics. When moving in this way, you move at half speed. You can move at full speed by increasing the DC of the check by 10. You cannot use Acrobatics to move past foes if your speed is reduced due to carrying a medium or heavy load or wearing medium or heavy armor. If an ability allows you to move at full speed under such conditions, you can use Acrobatics to move past foes. You can use Acrobatics in this way while prone, but doing so requires a full-round action to move 5 feet, and the DC is increased by 5. If you attempt to move through an enemy’s space and fail the check, you lose the move action and provoke an attack of opportunity.
Move through an enemy’s space: 5 + Opponent’s Combat Maneuver Defense

I think your calculation is right, if your going to try it let ting know and he will make bird noises to distract it, he does a great imitation of a Tengu
Ting Tang

ting looks at the headless cobra and then the empty room
oy, 'at was an fancy trap fer jus' space, wroight
and he goes back into the small chamber and looks around again.
lets make sure he didn't miss anything,
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Ting Tang

Oy, 'airs a dead guy wit fancy jewelry, Alexos, I s'pose its me imaginin' 'is dead guy too's wroight
ting steps out of the room while Alexos draws the crypt, when Alexos is done ting "retrieves" the robe, the medallion and the bracers; to have them looked at.
does you's blokes wants ta look at 'ese lovelies now er shall we's 'ead on? wroight
Ting hands the items to anyone who wants to look at them, if no one takes them he puts them in his pack then he goes to the door and checks for noise and traps.
he will take 20 on perception
Ting Tang
|
ting looks around to see where everyone is as he says
Squawk, 'air's Somethin' movin' down 'air an' it aint ity-bity wroight
he then opens the door to the west hoping they may have room to deal with the new threat without falling into oblivion
are we all close enough to the western exit to get out, so we are away from the pit?
| Standard Pregen |
Hans nods.
"Let's be tactical about this. Everyone, pile through into the next room, and we can shut the door. If whatever this thing is tries to break the door down to follow us, we can ready to attack it when it finally gets through. I recommend Ting Tang and myself for the front line."
Putting his suggestion into action, he will then stride through the door, and take up a position immediately on the other side, ushering the others through as quickly as possible.

[b]"The medallion and the bracers are magic. Do we leave them here? A well we are not here to loot old corpses. On the other side thessalonian relics.... Someone decide and help me."[/n]
Ting Tang

ting calls back through the doorway, watching for anything to pop out of the pit, ready to draw and throw a chakram
Oy, brings 'em wit-cha an' we's can talkify abouts tha philisophiscal repercussions while's I tries on tha green outy-fit, any-whoose 'em bracelets match Alexos' eyes, if ya catch me meanin'. But whatever yer doin' I'd does it in a quick along, wroight?
Ting Tang

ting watching the pit carefully says
Friendlies ya 'ats what all 'ese sodding dead buggers 'ave been, friendlies, wroight
as Alexos meanders closer
Please tell me's ya got yer new swizzly stick, I don't recon we's wants ta go backs
not taking his eye off the pit ting asks Hans
Oy, Hans, you's wants ta shut tha doors as soon tha crew is through? wroight?
Ting Tang
|
after everyone is through the door and Hans has shut it; ting will listen ear to the door for any sounds or vibrations
like someone or something is attempting to open it
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
I think a bug crawled in his ear and distracted him, yea it was definitely a bug :)

Just in the moment the door closes you can see a necrophidius crawling up from the pit. It's made from a skeletal body of a constrictor snake capped with a fanged human skull.
You are in a long corridor. A door emblazoned with a strange seven-pointed star stands in the back of this alcove.
Ting Tang
|
is the seven-pointed star emblazoned on the door the same design as the medallion that we found on the dead guy? and is the necrophidius following us?
after Alexos meanders in last and Hans just gets the door shut as they all see the abomination come out of the pit, ting, his feathers more than a little ruffled, says to Alexos.
Oy, Alexos be's so kind an tell me's two tells. 'A' tells me ya seen 'at necro... necri... necra... tha bloody skull fangy snaky thingy; an tell me's we's hallucenagen it, too. Oy, an no we aint a gonna go back an makes it a bony coffee table fer yer Minotaur martini mug either. wroight
ting, clearly shook up, enough so that he forgot he was to be guarding the door with Hans, heads west to the intersection as much to cool off as to continue their exploration of the crypt
once at the intersection he takes a look around.
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 clearly a little upset and not paying attention
Oy, I found a ... can we's just head 'is a way? wroight
| Standard Pregen |
After a few tense seconds, Hans breathes a sigh of relief, and quietly backs away from the door.
"Right then. Let's continue. Ting Tang? Could you check to see whether that rather intimidating-looking door is trapped?"
He then moves to cover the other corridor.
Ting Tang
|
didn't realize 19 was a door
ting, having regained his composure, answers Hans
Apso-floggin'-lutly gov'n'r, I's'l takes a look-see ta 'at door, wroight 'appy ta
ting goes to the door with the insignia on it and listens carefully and looks for traps
he will take 20 on perception for traps and noise
Alexos Virden

Alexos nods to Ting as he does so. He draws the room on his mapmaker and records their findings in greater detail from the last room in the journal.
"Remind me when we leave to inform the priests of our new guest back there.... presuming it doesn't find a way to back track the path we came from and meet us at the gate. If it does, I definitely want that coffee table, think you could try not to break too many of it's bones while killing it Hans?"
While his tone is jovial, his face is somber at the prospect.
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
