Symon’s blade is accurate…yet the sharp edge of his sword merely clatters across the ribcage of the skeleton…metal knocking on bone to make a vaguely musical sound…
The Skeletons have Damage Reduction against Piercing and Slashing Weapons
…whilst Drusellia and Luther miss wildly. Stepping forward, Dezco swings his axe with such ferocity that the skeleton is severed into two twitching halves…the twitching slows as the bones clatter to the stone floor of the crypt.
Around the crypt, skeletons jerkily step from the other opened caskets.

Drusellia scowls and tries again.
Drusellia vs. Skeleton: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Symon
Symon nods his thanks to Dezco and swings his new weapon at the same skeleton.
Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
The weapon feels awkward in Symon's hand, but it is better than swinging his blade uselessly against the skeletal foe.

" Hah! Have at thee..."
Conner grins as he moves into the room, drops his sunrod and casts Disrupt undead on skelly #2.

" Or Not! Crummy aim...grumble.."

Dezco throws a hammer over to Symon who, in a single graceful move, snatches it from mid-air, pirouettes and smacks it against the skull of the nearest skeleton.
Meanwhile everyone else’s attacks prove ineffective against the advancing skeletons.

Twisting and dodging, Conner tries to fire another bolt of dark energy at the skeleton. Unfortunately, he fizzles the spell in an effort to avoid the undead's attacks.
" Crud, only blunt weapon I have is my sling and stones. Can't use that here so well."

He will step back and leave room for Dezco if possible.
Edit:I attacked and left room for Dezco so he can move adjacent to skeleton 2--I then move Dezco one square so he doesn't have to clamber and put him next to skelly 2.

Drusellia enters the room and launches a sling stone at #5.

As Conner's sword lops the skull from one of the skeletons, everyone else appears to be overawed by the advancing undead, each of them missing their target...
Conner, your attack...as was, wasn't quite enough to get all the way through the DR and drop the skeleton (short by 1)...however, you did roll a 20...so am happy to rule you killed it
The skeletons, fully engaged with the party now, scratch, claw and snap at the adventurers...finding flesh on two occasions...

Feeling panic grow as the skeleton scores another hit, Symon strikes the monster with the hammer once again.

Dezco’s axe swing despatches the final skeleton and, apart from your breathing, the overbearing silence of the tomb returns. Stepping beyond the piles of smashed bones, and looking around the tomb, you discover a small leather case in one of the opened caskets…
The only exit from the tomb, other than returning the way that you came, is through a door in the south of the room.
Luther Lightblade
Luther taps Simon with the healing wand.

"I'll take point and the ring for now. Let's see if any valuables are around."
Luther then Conner/Dezco then Symon/Dru
Luther leads them into the room after a search of the skeletons, coffins and door.
He turns to Dezco__"Don't think we beat them without you. Nice to have you along. Let me take the point till we get you healed."
Symon
Symon limps over to where Dezco is and hands him back the hammer.
"Thanks for the use! I must remember to pick up a club or maybe a mace next time we are in town!"
He then goes over to examine the leather case.
Drusellia Malacore
Drusellia keeps to herself, angered at her uselessness. She hadn't wanted to burn spells against such simple foes, but her inefficiency with the sling irritated her.
Dezco

"Twas nothing, I'm rather enjoying the company." While his voice remains the same low whisper it does have a softer edge to it.
When Symon attempts to hand back the hammer Dezco merely raises his hand. "Keep. I have plenty."
Finally, noticing the Drow off by herself he'll attempt to approach. "Excuse me for imposing but would milady care for an extra weapon as well?"
