DM, I'm a bit confused on the last Gameplay post. Do we need to pass a charm test for the extraction gunships that Angrael suggested, or the other diversionary tactics we mentioned (drop pods, etc)?

The Charm test is for allocating additional resources - either a strike using the destroyer, decoy drop pods, additional gunships...
As is, you get boarding torpedoes, and a gunship that will pick you up after the Tau vessel is disabled.

This is 68 req. in total, what should the rest be spend on? What is the cost of additional ammunition for the flamer?

Oh, no worries, I would have "timed you out" in about 12 hours at the latest. ;)
In general, inactivity is death in any PbP, so I try to keep things flowing as much as possible. I hope you don't mind if that means stepping over your turn once in a while.

I am not sure the double up applies to all consumables, only ammo.
@ Brother Aetheros, do you want to borrow req for that special apothecary helmet?
EDIT: By my count we have 10+9+3 unused req not counting what I might add. 15 could be used for a diagnostor helmet to Aetheros.

Thanks for the offer, but Aetheros paid for the Signature Wargear to get the diagnostor helmet, so he's good.

Regarding the leader, I'm thinking we should make Magnus the leader and take the Oath of Duty (First Founding p. 74). He has solid WP and FE, high Command skill, and the Oath of Duty provides flexibility that we may find useful since we're going to be in fighting in different environments. Another benefit of Duty is we get four Squad Mode abilities instead of just three. Magnus also has Tactical Expertise which can be a nice benefit for everyone.

I know you prefer melee, camael - but the two battlesuits were out of charge range - so rather than leaving you stranded, and doing nothing for the turn, I set you up to charge this turn around.

Camael, after looking over things again, it seems i forgot your unnatural toughness. So you don't have Critical 11, you in fact have 5 wounds left. Sorry for the messup, as you probably realize I am still learning the system.
Now, in order to avoid a rewind, you're still down for this turn only. The shock temporarily overloaded your power supply. Next turn, you can again act normally. In a way, its probably going to save your ass, since leaving you standing would have had a good chance to push you into the same territory I mistakenly had you in.

I might be wrong but don't we have armour 10 on body leaving you with less damage from the last of the four hits?
2d10 + 2 ⇒ (6, 8) + 2 = 16 - 16 -10 = 6 on Body - Critical +11 :) That one i thought off

GM, how much do you want us to help/fact check during the game? I think we would all lent a hand if you would like us to. If you do would you mind telling which weapon stats you are using, from the core, from the errata or a third place.
This isn't ment as a critique I'm only trying to find out how much you want us to interfere in your storytelling.
If something feels off to you, by all means, mention it in OOC. Please stick to OOC, though - the game thread fragments more than I like as it is.
The Kroot are my own design, you probably can't help me too much with them. The Tau battlesuits are a variant of steath suits (Core rulebook), armed with pulse carbines, the fire warriors have pulse rifles.

No worries, I am still getting used to deathwatch rather than dark heresy rules.

Elyas, I believe you are correct about dodge - my reading is you have 1 reaction per turn (usually resets at the start of the round, or on your initiative - DM's choice).
I think your math is correct, but I'm not entirely sure either. :)
In order to make it somewhat easier on me, I've reset your dodge at the beginning of the turn - so i can just mark it on my "cheat sheet" for the turn
I'm not feeling too well (harsh week). I'll therefore give you another day to complete your posts. Afterwards, I'll NPC any missing players.

If so, Adalricus will move forward and unleash a volley into the Fire Warrior/Kroot group.
