Would you prefer one head or two on a platter good shopkeep?

He began with a very wicked grin waiting for him to give them details on where these doomed souls were known to assosciate at

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Shop murdersquad - The orc smiles and gives you directions to a squalid though sturdy looking structure made from mushroom trunk logs. It has a sign claiming to be a weaver's hut, but you know this to be a ruse.
Do you scout? How do you enter? In what order? Etc.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Vantrag et al- The three immediately kneel before you and pledge vows of service.
I am Meering.
And I am Streech
And I am Vacky
And we are all stoneworkers, skilled and trained.

Nathaniel accompanies the others from the orc's shop.

He seems to be grinning and cracking his knuckles often.

When Vantrag questions them about their identities, Phaenox will once again read their minds Using Detect Thoughts again, DC 14(I miscalculated before).

As the trio pledge their vows, the inquisitor listens closely to their words, attempting to verify the truth behind them. 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 Sense Motive

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

Phaenox - The two more cowardly ones, Streech and Vacky, are being genuine and honest. They're just happy to have work. The more uppity one, the one Seras has to talk down, has a mental asterisk going that marks her as being... loyalty challenged. She's happy to have work, but will probably betray you if a better deal happens along.

"These men expect payment, yes? Then let's give it to them! We take something like this tangle-burn bag I was offered,

and beg for forgiveness. Once inside we offer our gift and when they open it to examine their rotten gains...BAM! Chaos ensues
and then we bathe in their blood! Simple but effective, yes?"

Ok, here we go.

Gangbusters™- You all approach the shop front and present yourselves for delivery. You are brought into a large lounge complete with bar and comfortable furniture. The protection racket is good business. The room is also dimly lit via smokeless flames. Not that smoke isn't present. Your nose burns with the low hanging fumes of several smoked substances.
You are taken to a drow that stands before a raised table at which is seated the boss. He sits comfortably 'midst several dozen of his men with a finely crafted rapier at his side.

Vantrag et. al.- You arrive back at the shop to find just the orc guarding your mistresses. The others are gone.

About this time Vicalan is finding his bath. It was lovely.
Your room is private and magically secluded to an adequate degree. You should be safe for the night.

I am making a slight series of assumptions here, I assume we had discussed standard operations orders, I would have done so before we came into the thick of things but for the observation of brevity I'll just summise it here if thats okay with you.
1. There is a code word for Operation Hakk alchemical bag to the bosses face. We will go with his mothers Name "Severance" as the code for him to enact plan Hakk's Chaos
2. There is of course a code word to egress and get the hell out of dodge, Mourn is a survivor not a zealot. Since we are just in the city proper, no real home to retreat too and no one aware of our mission, its a standard Escape and evade plan. If mourn gives the word and or signal, its a everyman for himself get the hell out and meet up two blocks from the orcs business.

Inwardly he was nervous....Not because of the upcoming fight, no that was fine and normal. He wasnt even nervous leading Hakk and the orc nathanial in battle, he was trained for that as it were. No.. he was entirely nervous because this was his decision on the mission, his call. He had never entirely been his own master and in a way he was feeling a strange mixture of nervous fear over that knowledge and a strange exhileration. He nodded to Hakk to approach with the package.

We come as representitives of thehouse that the old orc your men bothered earlier works for, we would like you to leave him be. Furthermore it appears that perhaps we could see about establishing further ties between the house I represent and your organization.

He began taking in sight of the room and the gang members. He openly added a sneer to his visage. After all If they looked weak or worried it would only provoke the gang sooner than he would have liked.

Fetch me your leader. The real one if you would please.

He began just in case the man before them wasnt the one truly in charge, doing his best to sound.. well bored.

A few quick questions,1. Several dozen technically implies 84 or so gangmembers, are there that many or can we assume 20 to 30? 2. Are there any pretty female drow about in this orginization? *lawls and eyebrow waggles* Do they appear to be a part of the gang or hired professionals. 3. The apparent gangleader is there, do their appear to be any seconds or other gang leaders or lieutenants or the like.

"Mhm." Saeras mumbles as the orc explains the situation. He didn't really like that their grunts had headed off. Then again, it is not like their presence would have safeguarded them from any major assaults anyhow. And a gang-slaughter here might attract undue attention. As much as he didn't like admitting that his meat shields had left him unguarded, they probably took the best course of action. Discretion was their only armour now. And seeing as Vantrag took whatever-that-was she received from the council and locked herself up with her next of kin, Saeras and the rest of the present company would probably not do much good here.

"Very well then. Should we go and enjoy the spectacle? A few chuckles may brighten this gloomy day." he suggested and twirled his cane towards the exit. "The quicker we get them back here, the quicker we can plot appropriate vengeance..."

tangleburn bag:
TANGLEBURN BAG
Price 150 gp; Weight 5 lbs.
This sack contains tanglefoot bag materials and alchemical powders that burn at a high temperature. It functions like a tanglefoot bag, plus a direct hit on a creature deals 1d6 points of fire damage, and the creature must make a DC 20 Reflex save or catch on fire. If it catches on fire, for the next 2 rounds extinguishing the flames is a DC 25 Reflex save instead of a DC 15 save, and using water to extinguish the flames creates a burst of burning material equivalent to alchemist's fire making a direct hit on the target (including splash damage). After the initial 2 rounds, the flames may be extinguished as normal. Crafting this item is a DC 30 Craft (alchemy) check.

I'm not going to mess with a map on this one. There are four major threats
1) the guy who just got shot is proving to be made of stern stuff. He's occupied for the moment, but still not dead.
2) the woman Hakk just confronted looks a little taken aback, but nowhere near as scared as she should be.
3) The more heavily armed minions, of which there are several. A full round attack or spell of your highest level could take them out. Flavor to taste, make it awesome.
4) the press of the panicked patrons and lower level mooks taking an absurd number of attacks on you each every round. They will act as a swarm. The current distraction DC for casting is 16. They will do a set damage to you as you can't defend against everyone and everything at once. You may attack the crowd with mundane weapons to damage it. Damage done will reduce the automatic damage and concentration DC by stages. However, the less damage you do to the crowd the more of a minions reward you get at the end, so it will be to your benefit to not go hog wild on the easy targets. ;)
