There's a sliiiiight furrow of her brow as David, in his illusion, stands there, before he walks off and out of the room, then Anahita shakes her head and steps closer to Vare.
"I was wondering if you knew anything about this country, or the areas around it? Otherwise, I might use the weekend to go seeking out some residents to add to an aviary being built."
She smiles and then asks, "Or if you actually know of a pet tamer? Are you from this world?"
Vare considers for a moment, hand once again on the ever-present beard, before saying. "Sadly, my list of genuine acquaintances extends to those I have met here at Avalon, plus a few extra-planar creatures which I doubt would take much interest is such a construction."
Vare glances over at the corner, apparently listening, as he pauses for a long moment, before turning back to Anahita. "Rena says she heard about a young lady with a gaggle of rodents that follows her around. Perhaps she is the one to seek out? Beyond that, I do not know of anyone who would be of help. My apologies."

"It.... is a very long story for me." she says a little uncomfortably, in response to the question about the story and how it has helped her. "Before coming here..." she says a little uncertainly, and then shakes her head as if deciding against it. This causes her wavy blonde hair to shimmer slightly in the late afternoon light.
"It was a very bad time for me. Avalon... has. Made everything better. There's alot of friendly and genuine people here. People who help and fight for you. Like my adoptive family... and Fei." At the mention of Fei, Vai once again glances back at the biomass behind her, with a smile on her face.
"You're not being too noisy Tryko'Sam... it's just hard for me to talk about it. It wasn't a pleasant time. Even if it did come with advantages." she says simply, shruging her shoulders. Very much a teenager girl, though a shy one. "Why are you here? Are you from Agartha, or off-world like me?"
