After the chant subsides Tybalt says bye to everybody and disappeared. He stops in his room for a moment to grab the compassionate man outfit. He carefully roles it up and puts it in a cargo pocket. With this done he appears in the unarmed fighting class first on his schedule.
Fei, of the Sun Soul
Vai briefly thought about opening a comm channel to her Mom, but decided against it. Mom wouldn't appreciate being woken up so early in any event, but doubly so after last night. Nimceleb flies circles around Vai, now that he was 'awake', as she heads out onto the green to meet with Fei.
After the early morning wake-up call by James (and his departure with Vai), Fei quickly straightens and folds the bed linens (force of habit), then heads to the Materials and Supplies building to make sure he has no pending work orders. After that, he makes his way out to the green to meet Vai for his morning katas.

Tyrrin instantly tenses up, her eyes narrowing. Well, he was being polite. "What can I do for you, Mr. Kiln?" she hadn't yet invited him to sit.
Perception Check: 1d20+30
Noting the absence of insignia or rank on his robes, Tyrrin looks at him even more suspiciously. "I don't know why you bother to hide your loyalties. Everyone here who would understand already knows."
A few different looks cross his face: anger first, then loss and remorse. His shoulders slump, and he lowers his silver eyes and sighs...he looks up, his trademark smirk returning, but with no mirth in it.
"This was a mistake. Sorry to intrude, Miss Denulia." He nods at everyone, then turns and moves to his usual solitary table.| Ephebe |
"I have not eaten..." Sorun says, "how do I find the dining hall? "
Sorun slides out of the chair quickly
"Well there are two dining halls, one for each section of the school. The older children are allowed to eat breakfast in the cafeteria in the main school, provided they are back on time for class. I don't think there's time for that this morning, so I'll show you to the cafeteria for this wing of the school. This is also where you'll eat lunch. Dinner, much like breakfast, has the option for you to choose where you wish to eat."
She led the way out of the office. "Anywhere you are in the school, just touch the wall and think of where you want to go. Arrows will appear on the wall and/or floor for you to follow. Those will take you to your destination." She touched the wall as she spoke and the arrows appeared in front of them. She escorted Sorun and sheess to the cafeteria and provided a caution about the firebird food items since these would make other students sick if they ate them.

Raelle headed off to her advanced illusions class, not really sure what to make of all the insanity that morning. She was a little bummed that mathemagics wasn't until the afternoon. She really wanted to talk to the professor and figure out if he had any insights into why she kept having these incidents.

"Wait." Something in his expression had struck a chord with Tyrrin. "We have avoided each other since our argument on my first day. Why would you want to sit with me now? What has changed?" Her voice has softened, genuinely curious. Ace will note that she actually looks a little concerned.

After the early morning wake-up call by James (and his departure with Vai), Fei quickly straightens and folds the bed linens (force of habit), then heads to the Materials and Supplies building to make sure he has no pending work orders. After that, he makes his way out to the green to meet Vai for his morning katas.
While Fei does his practices Vai is pensive, absently stroking the mithral dragonling who has taken up residence in her lap. So lost in her thoughts, she doesn't even notice when the sun peaks the horizon and Fei finishes his routine. She starts a bit as Fei moves up to her after he has finished, causing Nimceleb to take to the air with an annoyed noise. She looks up at him with a bit of an embarrassed smile. "Sorry, my mind was wandering. Breakfast?" that last word sounds very hopeful, and Fei remembers that her dragon form consumes many more calories than just being a half-elf, and she spent a considerable amount of time yesterday as a dragon.
At breakfast, Vai devours several plates quickly. Occasionally she gets withering glances from other girls who envy Vai's ability to eat so much while remaining skinny, but those glances fall unnoticed by Vai. Fei notes that despite her ravenous appetite, Vai is once again thoughtful at breakfast, much quieter than usual.
Ghalen Kiln
He pauses. he had spent way too much time in the library, it seems.
"I was preoccupied with finding the truth. I haven't allowed myself much time for anything else...
I'm not sure I'm happy with what I've found, to be honest, but it is what it is." he pauses "Truth be told, I enjoyed our 'arguement'. I don't plan on starting them just to get a rise out of you anymore, though." Mirth returns to his eyes with a gleam "Doesn't hurt that you're easy on the eyes either, Princess."

Ace is quiet a moment, before answering, obviously getting his thoughts in order "For me, learning is one of my goals. I can do almost anything, become any one. My interests are thus many and varied and I always want to know more. I can heal the sick, cast spells of destrcutive power, or fight with bow or blade. I know how to tap into the power of my mind and I can sneak through a city like a master thief."
He pauses once more, "At first, I learned all I could, for silly reasons. Power, to be the best, stuff like that. Then, I witnessed seveaal families Lycanthropes, or maybe Lycans, hunted and murdered, just for who they were. Now, I seek to prevent that from happening, ever again. Not vengence or even justice. I don't pretend to be a lawman or anything. But I can help, I can fight, and so I will."
He smiles then "I also love to overcome seemingly impossible odds or challanges. I hear many have tried to help Ginni with her hunger, and all have failed. I. Will. Not.. I do not give up and I will find a cure or at least a way for her to control it."

Ehos Denulia
Looking at Ehos, Anahita says simply, "That is my belief. She inquired as to whether you did something she suggested to you. It was, in my opinion, an attempt to bond with you. You apparently blew that off. What are comic books? Plus, she acted as if I were a threat. I assure you, I was not a threat to her."
She looks hopeful, not certain, but there's something about her august presence or manner, that might hint at her being right, even though she speaks with humility.
"If I wanted to .. entice a mate, I would seek common interests after finding one that stirred my heart and loins. Or, go hunt with him. Have you two hunted yet? Has she offered? Does she seem rather ..gushing, when you are about? Seeking your attentions or praise? I have no idea if you are an attractive Elf, to other Elf women, but .. as a human, I find you intriguing and intelligent. Those are good qualities in a mate."
She then seems to consider him and feels his arm strength, then looks down at his legs. Her eyes come back up to his, though she says nothing.
Ehos shakes his head again, listening to what Anahita was saying. The more she spoke the more obvious it became. How had he missed it before? How could he have been so stupid? And why didn't Tyrrin clue him in? Well... at least he knew the answer to that question.
Did Anahita just call me attractive? What is it with women and always coming in pairs?! Ehos looks conflicted. As Anahita feels the strength of his arm... well, there's a certain strength to it, but hardly any bulk. His are the muscles of an acrobat, precision over power. The overall picture of Ehos is one who would be at home running and jumping along the boughs of tall trees, walking a tight-rope, or performing acrobatic tricks in a crowded tavern. Favouring grace over power, though he is not by any means weak.
'I must admit... you have opened my eyes Anahita.' he still looks conflicted, and glances at the clock on one end of the cafeteria. No time to find her before class. 'I am... not always the most perceptive of the feelings of others. I' the last word stays on his datapad for a few moments while he gathers his thoughts. 'I am at somewhat of a loss.' he admits. Anahita wasn't helping him to sort out his thoughts either, distractingly beautiful as she was.

Still before Ghalen shows up.
"You are certainly a man of many talents and passions, Casil. Agartha may be in need of such people in the days to come. And I am glad someone is helping Ginni. The staff here try hard, but there simply isn't enough of them to help all the students."
"You'll have to pardon me if I am being rude... but what are you, Casil? I have a sense that you are not entirely human."

His face grows somber.
"The Empire is a lie, Tyrrin."You can tell it pains him to say this.
Tyrrin Denulia
Tyrrin actually looks shocked for a second, and takes a moment to compose herself before answering. Her voice is steady and even. "I can assure you the Empire is very real, Mr. Kiln. We destroyed a warship only last night that was dangerously close to encroaching on our system."
Once again, Tyrrin's features soften. Her armour, and her sarcasm, comes down ever so slightly. "But I assume that you are not doubting the reality of the Empire. Please, sit. I would like it if you elaborated."

He does not look suprised at the information about the warship being destroyed...she can sense a slight curiosity, but not suprise. He takes his seat accross the table.
"Thank you." He looks...confused."I don't know how to best elaborate, other than to say the Empire I was grown and raised to extoll and defend does not exist, or at least has not existed for a great while. Perhaps it never has..." he looks genuinely lost for a second.
"Dragons are not infailable. Once this truth is accepted, the rest..."
He sighs, and looks down at his food, no longer surethat he's hungry enough to eat...then something changes, the edges of his tray crumpling as he grips it too hard.
"I'm angry, Tyrrin. I was made and raised to be a weapon for a cause I no longer believe in. I can no longer believe in. I can not forgive...and will not aid them, but I still don't know if I can bring myself to betr..." the last bit chokes off. "No one here will use this weapon either. I don't know that I would either..."
He sits for a moment and then straightens up a bit, making a move to leave.
"It seems I am no longer hungry. Thank you for the company and listening."
Tyrrin Denulia
"Ghalen." Tyrrin shocks everyone by using his first name. "Before you go, just let me say something. Avalon is a place of acceptance... though I couldn't see it when I first came here. The Headmaster has never asked that the students share his alleigences towards the Empire. You are still here, if that is proof enough. No one will ask you to enter in a war, especially against your will."
Tyrrin must be getting soft, if this display is touching her so. "You do not need to be a weapon. You can simply be a student. Your past does not dictate your future. You've made the hardest choice already. Now you just have to choose what to do with the rest of your life."
"And don't call me Princess." she finishes with a very wide grin.
Ghalen Kiln
He looks her straight in the eye, and listens.
"Of course all of those things are true, Tyrrin. And I can accept the logic of it. But I am driven. It is not for me to sit idle, and not pursue what I am driven to do. You understand this, I think. Driven to be the best at what you know, feeling destined to have an impact, to be important. I am the same, except that which I knew wasn't the truth, wasn't real. I am my own worst enemy on this front. I was trained to seek the truth, and get the truth, no matter the means. I, ironicly it seems, was given a very strong sense of justice as well. Add in the fact that my Master's..." he cuts of immediately, then smiles. "Well, I can't spill everything at once. Where's the sport in that?" He gets up from the table. "Then what would we have to talk about? Oh, yes. I would very much like to know how you knew a warship had been destroyed, and if you have a recording of it's destruction. Perhaps we can discuss it, after classes or during lunch?
That is, if Her Worship has the time?" He grins wider.
Rahz Endoril
Giving himself plenty of time, Rahz had really only organized all the materials and components he would need to start making the new doll before he headed out to class, but it was still worth it; when he really had the time to work on it, everything would already be nice and orderly. It made him worry a little bit that the room seemed almost too well-suited for his dolls, but he didn't wish to worry about it; if it was intentional, then whoever designed his room was an ally.
Following the map quickly, Rahz made his way to the advanced illusions class with several minutes left to spare. He didn't really want to take the class, as he already was superb with the illusions he wished to cast, but perhaps he could still learn something, anyway. He noticed that the girl from the cafeteria was there, too, but he didn't care; he doubted that he was pointed out by the boy and thus wouldn't be subject to questioning.

So johnny headed over to Adon coin in hand placing on the desk he said.
“you want to pear up, cus try as i can this thing stays a coin see”
Johnny hold the coin and says
“Spoon”
Nothing it stays a coin
Johnny looks at Adon an exasperated look on her face.

"If it makes you feel any better I can't make the da- err...blasted thing work either and I'm pretty good at that whole magic thing," the teacher said walking up to their desk as she made her rounds of the room.
"Confession time, I'm trying to figure out how these things work. I'm a paper mage. It should be a similar type of transmutation, but it isn't. Fun fact, no matter how long you study magic there's always some new twist to discover."

Tyrrin knows that feeling. The drive to be successful, to be the best you can be. She nods, in acceptance of everything Ghalen had said.
"That's better." Tyrrin retorts to Ghalen's last quip. "Meet me in the observatory at lunch. I trust you can find your way?"
Dom Waverider
Dom sat back in his seat as everyone around him hurried away. Too reach there classes in time. He knew there he had a class really soon, but there was no rush. Why be so hasty about getting there on time. It's not like the class will start precisely on time anyhow. Ether way there was no one here to talk to any longer save the young couple talking amongst them selves.
Dom left his seat and started walking out. Though for some reason he felt he should at least so bye to the couple. Walking over toward Ehos and Anahita, Dom called to them. "Well I think I'm heading to class as well. It was good... meeting you two. Perhaps next time we meet we will have time to get to know each other." He smiled to the two just before he turned to walk out of the cafeteria. "Now what was that class I was suppose to go to?. Ah that's right, Speech."
Aanandareavekki
The arrows led Ardiente to a blank wall at first which then resolved into a door. His knocks were answered with a muffled noise which might possibly have been someone saying just a minute. Or not.
After what seemed like an eternity to the impatient firebird an unusually disheveled Aananda, still adjusting the belt of her hastily donned gi, opened the door.
"I'm guessing this is some sort of emergency? Because if it isn't..."
Ardiente, of the Fuerte
Ardiente was very antsy, but he still remembered his manners. Remembering the title Fei had used the day before, he performs a short bow, trying to be respectful despite the feelings roiling inside him. "I apologize if I distrupted you, I desperately need to speak with someone. Am I speaking with the sabumnim Sunwake?"
Bluff (to hide his distress enough to be polite): 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (6) + 27 = 33
Aananda can tell that this young man (probably a firebird, given his hair and the fireproofing enchantments on his clothing) is in a hurry, at the very least.
Aanandareavekki
She sighed. "Yeah, that's me, although Fei is the only one who calls me sabumnim. You can just call me Aananda, or if that's too informal for you, Professor works too. Or sensei. Whichever."
She looked back over her shoulder. "Just give me minute to grab the rest of my things. We should probably have this conversation elsewhere."
She closed the door in his face.
After a couple of minutes she opened the door again, stepping out of the room and closing the door behind her. She looked much more put together now.
"Sorry that took so long. It took forever to find...ah, never mind. Anyhow, we can go talk in my lab. It's restricted access so no interruptions are likely."
Ardiente, of the Fuerte
"Yes Professor!" he snaps formally. He was falling into the military formality that was so comforting to him. At least it was familiar.
"Thank you Professor. Speaking in private would be best... but... I apologize if I seem rude, but do I have your confidence in this matter? Even from your family? I would not like what I need to discuss with you to become a matter of public record." Ardiente continues to look worried as he follows along with Aananda. Fei had told him to speak with her. He could be trusted. Hopefully.

"I'm pretty sure it wouldn't agree with you."
"Actually I wanted to talk to you....which of these do you like better?" she asked, holding up two pieces of fabric, one white with a blue swirly pattern and one blue with a white swirly pattern.

Glancing around and realizing that the cafeteria was dwindling, as well as Dom's farewell to both herself and Ehos, Anahita bid Dom a farewell as well, to the effect of, "You were very well spoken, Dom. It is a pleasure to meet you. Your water manipulation is .. intriguing. I would like to learn how you manage such control over the element. Perhaps another time." He gets a light curtsy after that.
Then looking back at Ehos, Anahita says, "Ehos, resolve this issue or possible lack of understanding with Jaiye. You have a potential friend, if nothing else. I would offer to help, but I'm fairly sure she would feel highly defensive if the two of us approached her. Listen to what she says, how she acts and moves, and take the time to really be present to who she is when you do. Patience, it's an excellent virtue."
There's a warm smile on Anahita's face and she then adds, "I've only just met you, though I feel you a good person, so, in time, I trust we will become good companions, yes? I'm in no rush for that to happen, even if it does or does not. Plus, I am new here, there is no reason I should disrupt the flow that existed before."
She sounds wise, there's a hint to her expressive features that she's considering everything she says before saying it, so, perhaps it's not exactly something she's said before- or had to.
At which point, since the Cafeteria is really getting empty, she adds, "I shall go to my first class. We shall meet again, yes?"
With a light squeeze of his arm, unless he has something extra to ask or say via his data pad, she leaves very quickly, perhaps twice as fast as any mere human might, towards her first class, the History of Agartha.

"Well, I'll tell my brother if I have to since he's the Headmaster of the school and all....but, no I won't make things that you share with me in confidence a matter of public record," she said leading him through the halls to another door with a keypad beside it. She touched the keypad and the door swished open. She gestured for Ardiente to go inside.

"I promise you, I am not a threat to the school. It is something of a personal matter. But I am grateful for your discretion Professor." Ardiente adds as the arrive at the lab, and Aananda ushers him in.
He glances around the lab at all the technological equipment, looking for the best place, somewhere out of the way. "I believe a demonstration would be the easiest way to explain."
Ardiente focuses all the intensity of his power on a chunk of the stone floor, well away from any equipment that might be damaged.
Firebending Check (Incandesence Seed, Melt Substance): 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (19) + 35 = 54
Total effect: 3 5ft cubes of Lava.
A sizable section of the floor heats up rapidly as Ardiente pours flame into it, turning the stone to lava. He then shifts his stance slightly, and the lava begins to rise from the ground.
Earthbending Check (Move a Rock Seed, Shaping DC35): 1d20 + 34 ⇒ (18) + 34 = 52
The lava seems to form into shapes as Ardiente allows his artistic side to influence his demonstration. The shapes are difficult to discern beyond being vaguely humanoid.
"Do you understand?" he asks, replacing the stone floor to where it was, and pulling the heat out of it. The practice had allowed him to calm down a bit. The panic had subsided somewhat, but was still lingering at the back of his mind.

Ehos looks a little nervous, but Anahita's warmth and words manage to calm him down. 'We shall meet again. May the leaves shade you.' It was a traditional elvish farewell, and Ehos wasn't quite sure why he had used it, though perhaps the squeeze on his arm had distracted his mind.
With the cafeteria emptying out, Ehos heads for his first class, Archery.

Just so there wasn't any mistake, Ardiente once again moves to bend the stone, the hard rock this time, making similar shapes before returning it to it's original form. "Ooookay....I should probably fess up now that I was not the most studious student back when I was training at the temple....but isn't that impossible unless you're the Avatar....and there hasn't been one of those in...well, most of the monks thought it was just a legend anyways...uh, you're not, are you? The Avatar I mean?"

"I... I don't think so. Not anymore anyway. There is another boy at the school... an airbender. He said this morning that he was learning waterbending... and I could feel him exuding a certain control over my flames."
"Not to mention... I've tried to bend water and air, nothing ever happens. I even researched their forms. I... I don't know. I thought I might have been the avatar until this morning... but there can't be two, can there?" The panic is beginning to come back into Ardiente's voice. He sounds a little desperate.

Lang laughs with her
Yeah... it really isn't my favorite.
Ignace shows the patterns and Lang looks them over.
finally he points to the Blue I like the blue, reminds me of the blue skies with white clouds back home
Lang takes a seat (hopeing he isn't going to be late) So are we split by age? or are we all together. becuase I was wndering about your sister Chara how is doing? I thought maybe you and her could stop by the garden later today Sun liked playing with her
Ignace puts away the white fabric and pulls out a tape measure.
"We're sort of split by age. There aren't as many of us older students so they keep us all in one class, but there are also some younger students in our class. Including Chara. Mostly the younger ones who are in need of extra assistance for some reason or other. I think the idea is us older kids can help them so it doesn't all fall on the teacher."
"Stand up please. I need to get your measurements." In response to the inevitable look of confusion, "I'm making you a coat."

"No. Definitely not. If there is an Avatar, then there can't be two Avatars. And it sounds like this airbender boy is the real thing since you've seen him use three elements. Sooo.....there must be some other explanation."
"Hmmmm. Well, I could try doing a scan to see if I can spot any genetic anomalies. Maybe it's some sort of mutation...."
"Whatever it is, it's going to be fine. It's not the end of the world. I know firebirds aren't always so understanding about this stuff, but well, things are always changing. We're going to figure things out. So just breathe and keep calm."
Ardiente, of the Fuerte
"I... I..." Ardiente stops at Aananda's suggestion and takes a deep breath, holding it for a couple seconds. He's still shaken, but at least he is calming down now. A couple more breaths do wonders. Aananda may know that firebenders specialize in breathing techniques, and this is remarkably clear right now.
"Okay. Thank you, Professor. Whatever you suggest. How do we perform such a scan? Fei suggested that you were an earthbender, is that right? What is your relation to Fieri? She's... very talented." Ardiente was talking to distract himself from the panic that had been shoved to the back of his mind. Keep it from welling up again. Deep breaths.

Dave shows up at heavy blades excited to learn from an actual teacher as opposed to books or instinct or just throwing himself at people and doing what worked, to anyone skilled watching him Dave moves with incredible fluidity whith what appears to be obvious tells, only those tells are never correct he hits in places that his opponents open up, despite this his form is off in several places as would be expected from someone trying to learn to learn the finer points of swordplay from books, it does help that his sword is literally an extension of his arm

"If you'll just step right over here where I have this X on the floor. Yes, right in the corner there. I'll have a complete scan done in just a bit here."
"I am an earthbender. Well, amethyst dragons have an affinity for earth to begin with and I was raised at the Temple of Falling Water before....well, back when it was still a temple I guess. I agree that Fieri is very talented. She's my daughter-in-law. She's married to my youngest son, James," she said, fingers flying across the controls as she answered his questions. Information was scrolling across her screen at a dizzying speed, but she seemed to understand it perfectly.

Aananda's scan seems to be fairly routine. Though she notes the fact that this firebird is discussing Fieri whatsoever makes him stand out... and then there's a blip on the scan. Something that isn't possible, couldn't be possible. Not with the Wishcraft.
