"Ahh, yes Mr. Antairus. Just here for the paperwork you spoke of."
"No problem." He says, opening a drawer and riffling through it. "Wish he'd keep this drawer more organized... Ahh, here we go." With a victorious smile, he hands the papers over to Ghalen. "The class list and explanation about each one is a rather new addition, but helpful nevertheless. Just fill out the forms and we can get you into classes as soon as the next period starts."
Krays follows suit, and takes his dragon form, a lithe large black dragon.
"Indeed. The word views us as monsters, we'd like to change thier opinions a bit. Lets let them get over the new sky first, hmm? I do not want my children to have to live in fear, or hide who they are.
I hope you all can respect that."
Ghalen takes the papers

Ghalen looks over the form...then looks again

He fills out the form...saying he's from the nearby town, parents deceased, and selects the two classes above, along with a healthy mix of core classes. He hands back the forms.
"Will that be all?"
Nods at Krays
"No problem. I know you'd do the same for me. Now to explain all of this to Nala..."
"Yes. Now, let's see about a schedule and a proper room." Keaton says as he looks at a map on the wall and the forms in his hand. "Here we go, Room 210 is close to just about all of your classes. Here's your schedule. You can get settled into your new room if you want, the next period isn't for a a while. You'll hear a bell when it starts."
Nods at Krays
"No problem. I know you'd do the same for me. Now to explain all of this to Nala..."
"Nala?" Ephebe asks warily. "What does she have to do with any of this?"
"Umm...we're dating...I had to leave abruptly earlier, and I haven't quite told her the entire truth of me being a Champion. She's been very honest with me so far, so I owe her to return the favor. She alrady knows about you being a dragon, but I wasn't going to get into any of that, or Krays being one also..."
"She hasn't told anyone about me or my family...and I'm guessing she already knows about Krays. Same way. She has this true seeing variant...I guess it's like true seeing amped way way up."
"She's been honest?" she asks, more than a little skeptical. The memories of other-Ephebe weren't very complimentary of Nala and honesty wasn't exactly a virtue that Nala had been known for.
He smiles
"Yes brutally. She has been honest of everythign she has done, to you and others. She has not tried to charm or extert her influence over me in any way, and is just as suprised that I would like her without it. She even apologized to Jeran..."
[blink, blink]
"Okay. Huh. I guess anything is possible," she said, clearly taken aback.
"....And he didn't try to rip her to shreds? I mean....he really hated her...."
"When the lycanthropes decided to follow Ssrena and launched their attack, Nala was one of the people trying to help us stop them. Her charm magic was able to subdue many of them without harm...she was most helpful in foiling Ssrena's plans for a bloody coup."
"Well, she apologized, and he said he would gut her if she tried to talk to him again..."
Nods as Fei speaks
"Yep. That's my Nala."
"Bloody coup? Oh! Oh, right. That was the thing that was going on right before Taron....yeah, with the planet turning inside out and all....Wow. I guess ......maybe she's changed?"
"Okay, well, that sounds more like what I would expect from Jeran."
"She's not suddenly a lollipop of sunshine. She is still Nala, she just realized what she was doing wasn't right. She makes no excuses.
That's part of why I like her so much."
Ghalen stands, taking his class schedule.
"Thank you very much. I shall ajourn to my room till class, then."
This area of Darsoum is a mountainous region. The group arrives on a ledge jutting out of a mountainside. In the distance, the group can see a small village at the base of the mountain. Opposite that, the rock face seems solid.
Part of the rock-face is an illusion. It leads into a dark cavern.
"Hmm. Not sure she can attone exactly for what she's to have done. But, it seems she's on the right path."
"Yeah, well. I don't know. I'm gonna get back to her now. See you guys around. Congrats on the little ones."
He starts to leave...
"Oh! I almost forgot...I can show you guys how to mask your Champion auras. The only drawback is it suppresses your Champion gifts. Catch up with me later if you're interested." he heads off to try to catch Nala between classes...
"Yeah, I'm off too....I need some sleep. Running around in tunnels all night makes for one tired fox."
"As tempting as it is, I won't out your secret. I'm looking forward to the fuss that'll happen when you reveal it yourself though. Should be entertaining to say the least," he smirked before transforming into a fox with five tails and scampering away.

Jiminy took Fieri's hand and led her towards the opening since she couldn't see it.
Phaezeriel will, indeed, follow Jiminy and Fieri.
Jen lowers her head in the humanoid custom of respect. "Yes Mister Professor, I have the forms here."
She balances the forms on her head with acrobatics and leaps up onto the desk, dipping her head to slide them into the professor's view. All of the relevant information is filled in very neatly, except for the course selections. "I think I will go with history of Agartha; I don't really know any of it. Since I'm so new to life, I don't know much about the world. Are there any other history courses available?"
"There are not, though some of the classes we offer do delve into the history related to their subject, like my Theology class. Here is the list I handed Mr. Kiln just a moment ago if you would like to look it over and pick the classes that interest you. You did a much better job with these forms than some of the parents that come here to enroll their students. If I may ask, and it is not too rude, how did you manage it with hands?"

"Well, one day, I just woke up. I had vague memories of my life before, but there I was. The form was already filled out and I knew that I had to come to this school, although I am not fully aware of why, so I came."
Jen looks over the list, scanning for the word history. She was relatively separated from the world, and she needed to learn about the place that she called home.
"I think I am interested in that theology class, Professor sir. Maybe it will help me learn why I am here today. And ooh, this seems to be an interesting one too. Agarthian Military History. Is it still available? The only thing that I know about my existence is that I need to protect house-cat kind. Maybe that class might enlighten me on the things that cats need protection from."
She dips her paw into a vial of ink and puts a blob near the classes that she wishes to take.
The darkness in the entrance of the cave proves to be a small obstacle to the group as they enter the cave, through either magic or natural ability. The tunnels are large, big enough for a full grown dragon to fit through, but they [the tunnels] wind. Eventually the groups comes to a larger room, with three steel doorways going out from this room.
Ryleh's eyes glowed with power as she divined which direction would bring them the best likelihood of success.
As the others went their separate ways, Ephebe hugged Krays.

"Wait...Vai! What happened to Vai?" she asked, suddenly remembering that she hadn't seen what happened to the other girl.

Ghalen attends the next class on his schedule when the bell tolls. He sits and watches the other students and notices the odd mixture of archaic and tech in the class rooms. He acts the model student, as he's pretty much been in training for the last 8 years or so.
Ryuzo waits outside Nala's classroom for her...when he sees her he'll smile...
"Hey...uh...there's some stuff I need to talk with you about. Meet for lunch?"

"Wait...when you say the rest of the family, exactly who was it who was going after Vai?Mom and Jimmy?"

::Yes, I'm okay. They got to me in time.....Uncle Chan is really, really dead this time. Krays put his soul into the staff.::

"Yes, and your grandmother. Aegythrax made an impression, you could say. Fieri I believe was going as well...I don't think Unlce Ryo went. To be honest I was pertty busy coming after you to notice specifics..."
Ryuzo waits outside Nala's classroom for her...when he sees her he'll smile...
"Hey...uh...there's some stuff I need to talk with you about. Meet for lunch?"
"Okay."
"This has something to do with why you had to go running off this morning?"
"Yes ma'am, it is. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, I just need to let you in on some things. Okay?"

"Yes, and your grandmother. Aegythrax made an impression, you could say. Fieri I believe was going as well...I don't think Unlce Ryo went. To be honest I was pertty busy coming after you to notice specifics..."
"Grandma went too? Aegythrax won't know what hit him."
"At least I can be sure that they'll bring Vai home safe."
"It's still hard not to worry though," she admitted sheepishly.

"Yeah for a second there I think she was almost as angry as I was...if he survuves the encounter, he won't soon forget it I'm sure." He smiles at his mate.
"Is there anyone else out there that wants to kidnap you? I'd prefer a pre-emptive strike to eliminate the threat." He leans down and puts his head to her stomach "You guys ok in there too?"
::Uncle Ryo....are you okay?::::I am fine, just tired. Taking care of the Hunters that were after you was... taxing.::
::Wait...the Hunters? Oh. Well. I guess that explains why they didn't come to help Chan fight.::

"Yes ma'am, it is. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, I just need to let you in on some things. Okay?"
She smiled. "Promise me you'll never call me ma'am again and I'll be happy to listen to what you have to say."
::A healing spell would not go unappreciated.:: Ryo admits. ::I am not as young as I used to be, despite how the nanites keep me looking.::

He laughs
"OK, deal. I'll see you later..."
"Yeah for a second there I think she was almost as angry as I was...if he survuves the encounter, he won't soon forget it I'm sure." He smiles at his mate.
"Is there anyone else out there that wants to kidnap you? I'd prefer a pre-emptive strike to eliminate the threat." He leans down and puts his head to her stomach "You guys ok in there too?"
She laughed. "As far as I know there are no more potential kidnappers out there. And our little ones are fine. I'm not sure how much longer that would have lasted....I used every bit of energy I could muster to shield them from the spells Chan was using to torture me. Thankfully he was still on the small stuff when Lysander showed up."
"Heh good. Let's hope we get some downtime for...oh..a few years..."
He smiles warmly...but through the bond she feels concern.
