The rings are something that I added, so you don't really know where the foe is. When you are near those blue rings, you are within sight of where it might be.

As you are wandering around the area, looking at stuff, you have each made a successful perception check and have found the following.

Data Z and Nalun have found a battery, Joker has found a flare, Osuro has found a flashlight, and Isho has found a Medpatch.

As you are moving around this dark, pitch black, warehouse. Each one of you are holding some sort of illumination I hope. Nalun stumbles across something in the dark that he really didn't want to find. AS he turns the corner on the catwalk, he sees this beast in front of him. Unfortunately for him, it's been watching him for the last couple of seconds and is quick enough to act first.

Weaknesses/Vulnerabilities & Special Defenses - In other words, how do we hurt this thing fastest!

That was just for Joker. He had a surprise round and gets to take his full round soon.

Osuro:

There are no special weaknesses or vulnerabilities that the Feather Stalker is known to have.

Each Feather Stalker is unique and has an Adapted Defense where it has a special resistance to one of these four energy types; Cold, Electricity, Fire, or Sonic. Unfortunately, the defense is different everytime it has been studied, as if it is some kind of ability that it uses to give itself that defense.

Data Z hears the combat on the other side of the warehouse and rushes over to help.

Isho sees the Feather Stalker as it comes out of stealth and is happy that it has already found itself a chew toy in Joker. He orders his bot to shoot Joker with an injection needle, to keep the poor fool alive if he is attacked again by the Feather Stalker.

Osuro takes this time to study the beast. If his studies are helpful for his action this turn, only time will tell.

Unattuned

GM, I pasted the description of the Black Hole ability below. My hope is that even though the railing in between Nalun and the FS it doesn't count as a solid object since its not a wall and Nalun can pull it over the rail towards him.

Black Hole (Su):
When you’re fully graviton-attuned, as a standard action, you can pull any number of creatures within 20 feet of you closer. You choose which creatures are affected and which ones aren’t. Each target must succeed at a Fortitude save or be pulled 10 feet toward you. The range of this revelation and the distance pulled increase by 5 feet at 5th level and every 4 levels thereafter. Solid objects do not block this ability, but any creature that runs into
a solid object ceases moving closer to you. Creatures moved by this ability do not provoke attacks of opportunity from this movement. After you use this revelation, you immediately become unattuned. Black hole functions as a zenith revelation for the purposes of abilities that reference them. '

fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 DC is 14(?) The DC of a Supernatural ability is typically equal to 10 + half the level (1) of the creature using it + the creature’s relevant ability score modifier (Cha 3), as detailed in the ability’s description. Please Note this on your character sheet.

Data Z aims her spell up, which barely reaches the bottom of the catwalk. But it is enough to heat up his paws. Causing him to hiss down at Data Z before continuing to attack his current pray. Okay... I'm somewhat in a conundrum. Cone shape spells do not go around corners, but he is standing on a mesh walkway(image not written) and is 15 feet off the ground as noted before. So the fire would have to pass through the grates to get to him. Since not all the fire will get to him and he has a good reflex save I think that only 3/4 of the damage would pass through the grate... That or none, since they can't be standing on air. Any thoughts?

Resolve Points:

As a hero, you have resolve—an intrinsic reservoir of grit and luck tied to your talents and often enhanced by your class. Your pool of Resolve Points (RP) allows you to carry on even when everything seems lost.
Calculating Resolve Points

You have a number of Resolve Points equal to half your character level (rounded down, but minimum 1) + the modifier of your key ability score (the ability score that is most important to your class). Even if you have a negative modifier, you always have at least 1 Resolve Point.

For example, let’s say you’re creating a 1st-level mystic (whose key ability score is Wisdom) with a Wisdom score of 16 (a modifier of +3). Half your character’s level rounded down would normally be 0, so thank goodness for that minimum of 1! Add in the 3 from your Wisdom modifier, and your mystic has a total of 4 Resolve Points.
Spending and Regaining Resolve Points

Resolve Points can be spent in a number of ways, and many classes let you spend them to activate class features and regain resources. Some abilities don’t require you to spend points, but are active only as long as you have a minimum number of Resolve Points available—for instance, an envoy with at least 1 Resolve Point remaining in her pool can use her expertise class feature to roll an extra die on Sense Motive checks without spending the point. Your Resolve Points can never drop below 0. Dying causes you to lose Resolve Points. If you would lose Resolve Points due to dying and don’t have any remaining, you’re dead. (See Injury and Death for more information.)

Up to once per day, characters can regain any spent Resolve Points by getting a full 8 hours of uninterrupted rest

Second Seekers (Jadnura)

Male Android Technomancer 11: Speed:50, Init:8, SP:99/99, HP:59/59, RP:9/9, DR:3, 11 Fire Resistance, EAC:26, KAC:30, Fort:6, Ref:7, Will:7, Perc:10, Exceptional vision, electrolocation

It is a 3d cone, so it would reach him, plus Z would aim it up at him at a bit of an angle outreaching his hands and stretching out. Just because I can't see the situation 3 diamentionally on a 2d map doesn't mean the character with 16 int can't and figure out the angles and all that. Also I wanted to move the character as close as possible without being in the creatures melee reach, if that means moving the character 5 or 10 feet closer than so be it.

The problem isn't the X, Y & Z position on the map. The main problem is that the catwalk acts as a corner. I double checked on the rulings before posting the last post, but cones don't go around corners. I have drawn out a Z access on the google slides. If there wasn't a catwalk there, then you would hit, but since the catwalk is there it acts as a wall.

I think it comes down to whether you see the walkway as mesh or solid. Mesh would still be cover to bullets and other projectiles, but I would lean towards AoE fire/gas going through since it would so right through. I think we just need a GM final call though and we keep rolling.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it!" Isho rushed forward, dancing over Joker's collapsed form for a moment and hesitating before looking up to the ceiling. "Universe, come on, forgive me for this." Then Isho rolled Joker onto his side with one foot, grabbing the end of each of the foot-long boney harpoons and yanking them through before letting him fall back to the catwalk.

Dipping one gloved claw into his jacket, he pulled out a single glass syringe and held it aloft for one long second before bringing it down in both fists to slam the needle into Joker's chest. Adrenaline. Magic. Life.

Isho darted back quickly before Joker could jump up and bump into him. When the android didn't move, Isho started to wonder whether he hadn't miscalculated the biomechanics of it all.

Move 15' forward, inject Joker with Mk1 Serum, use 5' more to move back.

Mk1 Serum: 1d8 ⇒ 4

what exactly is there? Because I'm picturing a raised floor 15 feet above the ground. I'm picturing a railing at the edge of the catwalk and the fire traveling between the space of the railing and the catwalk as he aims up at a 45 degree angle..

anyway, can I make an athletics to get on top of the catwalk this round?
athletics: 6 - 2 + 1d20 ⇒ 6 - 2 + (1) = 5
energy ray: 2 + 1d20 ⇒ 2 + (20) = 22 vs EAC
dmg fire: 1d3 ⇒ 2 doublechecking modifiers, please wait.
Okay, done

crit dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 2 if the energy ray can actually reach
If Data can't get on top of the catwalk, he moves to a position where you could see the monster, as he has speed of 25.

Exo-Guardians

Male NG Human Pilgrim Solarion | SP 15 HP 18| RP 4/4 | EAC 14; KAC 15 | Fort +3; Ref +1; Will +3 | Init: +1 | Perc: +4, SM: +0 Speed 30ft | Active conditions: None.

Nalun springs forward, his motesword becoming a blazing solar colored beam of light. A corona of star colored light begins forming around Nalun's body.

Photon Attuned 1/3

Charge: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Slashing: 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 1 = 9

Nalun slashes his blade at the Feathered Stalker.

Data Z, somewhat frustrated that her spell didn't have the full effect that she hoped, tried to climb up to meet the Feather Stalker head on, but couldn't even find a grip on the bars leading up. She aims her gun and fires a successful hit. The Feather Stalker howls in pain as the damage sinks in. But he is only momentarily mad at her, as another human springs up from behind him and attacks with his a sword of all things. Landing another great hit.

On the more serious side of the fight, Joker is able to stabilize himself as Isho moves up and sticks another needle in his rump, healing him for a few points.

Round 4 Bold May Go.
