Mandrake the Mad
Minor action, drop sustained remnants of icestorms. Visibility now restored. (Were you giving the ghoul his 5 dmg each round from being in the area?) Then, ICE HAND ATTACK! Move action to move the ice hand towards the last ghoul. (I think I can move it 6 squares? Have to look it up when I get home) If in melee range,... SLAP!
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 282d8 + 10 ⇒ (3, 3) + 10 = 16
Manny moves his summoned icy hand towards the last ghoul, making racing chariot sounds as he guides it down the hallway,...
Fabes DM
Winter's Wrath should have ended several turns ago. I didn't notice it was (until end of next turn) so those squares shouldn't be obscured either. It's not a sustain power. They are still difficult terrain.
The hand doesn't get within melee range, I'm afraid. Save vs Immob for Ghoul 1d20 ⇒ 6

I forgot my mark ended b/c I didn't engage the ghoul last round... ah well, the ghoul couldn't do anything anyways.
Move adjacent to the ghoul into the northern-most square (step north, then east to avoid the opportunity attack), (Minor) Challenge the ghoul (-2 attack and takes 8hp damage if he doesn't include me in an attack), (Standard) Holy Strike on the ghoul: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13, for 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 RADIANT/Fire damage.
EDIT: Whooohoo, another one. I think Hadarai just doesn't want to hog the spotlight, he wants other's to get credit for the kill... he's a giving teammate :)
Hadarai positions himself to still allow his allies an openning to strike. He spins his blade in front of the ghoul, knowing it won't strike any damage, but at least it will keep the undead's attention.

I continue my statistically improbable rolls of 1's on a d20
(this is my 4th 1 in my last 5 d20 rolls on this messageboard, lol)
Akahale Gilbrid
Akahale shuffles along the corridor to join Otto and has another go at demolishing undead. His tolerance for abomination is never high and has been rapidly diminishing.
Move 2 squares to the left.
Minor: Sustain Crown of stars and splat ghoul 1 (v Will)
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22. On hit, 6 radiant plus 1d8 ⇒ 6 curse damage
Standard: Eldritch Blast (Ref)
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (12) + 14 = 26
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 - if the radiant bloodies it, then the damage is +2.
Potentially 27 damage, 6 of it radiant.

I'm back. Sorry for the protracted absence, was in the hospital. FIne now, though, and raring to get back.
Shae works on trying to free herself from the paralysis.
Save: 1d20 ⇒ 1
However, she doesn't manage to do so.

"Hmpf, undead... I'll take undead over the crazy cultists from upstairs!"
Scanning the room a bit, Hadarai settles his shield over his shoulder. "Serpenthelm, I can give you hand with the gate, we should be able to lift it without trouble."
Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
and if Grafire wants the assist: Strength check on the door: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 (do I add 1/2 level?? If so, add another 4)
EDIT: LOL, now check out those rolls! Where were those when I was swinging a sword! At least I now know it wasn't a permanent curse!

Akahale Gilbrid
Turning his nose up at the wooden door, Akahale turns his attention to the more obliging portcullis, so recently opened by Hadarai and Grafire.
They did, didn't they? Or am I just being a complete idiot? Anyway, the idea was to see where the chains came from I think.
Grafire Serpenthelm
Grafire snickers at Manny's comment until he realizes he was talking about Grafire.
"So far, Mage, your brain has been as strong as my brawn. I gota give you that. I good team we have here I say."
Grafire tests the door to see if it is unlocked and opens it if not.
If not strength check against door - 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 9 - 2 = 12
Pray tell Fabes, was the last encounter a milestone?
Hadarai the Third
Hadarai's sword is flaming... probably not a ton of light (maybe a square?), but he also has Low-light vision, though I don't think Grafire does :(
Maybe a better idea: I also wouldn't mind if one of the mages would like to cast Light on him as standard operating procedure... it would make sense as the front line defender. You could put it on his shield or sword to give the group light...
Akahale Gilbrid
Akahale moves to the junction, sunrod held high. Snuffling disapprovingly as the palpable aura of abomination, he turns to the west.
Unless we've been in here four hours, the sunrod he cracked when we arrived is still glowing. Suggest west more for the sake of making a decision than for any concrete reason.
Hadarai the Third
Hadarai follows Akahale's lead to the west, moving in front of the dragonborn for his safety. Hadarai also glances to the east -- he wouldn't leave his rear blind.
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24 looking down both halls
EDIT:: Ooops. I forgot I had already rolled perception. I had gotten a 20 the first time I moved to the intersection to investigate. Maybe the 20 is for the west corridor and the 24 is the for the east? lol whatever works.
@Shae: It might not be a bad thing to have multiple light sources, one fixed on me and one throwable with the sunrod... Unless someone can think of a reason not to, I'm good with having standard procedure be: "cast light on Had's shield" -- you can always cancel it with a thought in case we need the darkness.
