I am likewise pretty much done.
DM would the spell urban grace be usable on a ship?
Link Urban grace
Youch, that's a very potent spell, especially on ship!
I'm going to say yes though, nothing in the description that says city only, and there will be crowds on board and jumping between structures.
Please PM your equipment list when ready to go.

Just a heads-up: I will be gone all day tomorrow (Saturday, June 18, USA) until late tomorrow night, it appears. And then starting in a week or two, I will be basically away from a computer all day (until the evening) Monday through Thursday. Fun times, but it's a demanding job.
I hope this situation will not be an impediment to everyone's fun. If it is a problem, I understand, and I will give up my spot.

The turtle is finally named and genus species determined; Bosley The diamondback terrapin.
Also is there an official errata on the Time patron
Time: 2nd—ventriloquism, 4th—silence, 6th—haste, 8th—threefold aspect, 10th—teleport, 12th—disintegrate, 14th—expend, 16th—temporal stasis, 18th—time stop.
Not that I dislike the spell silence, at 4th, but seriously is it supposed to be slow

Where does it say that?

im here. Just don't often lost during weekends.

Just to be clear, I am completely unaware of anyone other than myself questioning the spells of the time patron.
When I looked at the list silence jumps out at me as far as a spell that does not seem to fit.
So I thought about it for a while and decided that slow is a better fit as a comparable spell.
I was just asking if anyone had seen any errata on it at all?

No, I had a look around but the first two spells in the time patron are ventriloquism and silence.
I agree they don't make much sense with the time theme.
Not that many time effect spells in the lower levels it seems.

Healing
Evil eye
On a side note I do not have hexes planned or even additions such as multi classing. If I work in the sails I will likely take flight, if I work in the kitchen I will likely take cauldron, if I work on the deck, I will likely take aura of purity. If I have to help get recruits either charm or slumber.......

OK, with the exception of Jane we're all ready to go.
I think her cryptic message was about getting lost on weekends?
It's about 11.30am (morning) for me. If Jane doesn't get in touch with me by 16.00pm (afternoon) I'll start the the game and she can catch up.
If she can't make it at all then I'll recruit someone to fill her spot, or one of you can suggest someone if you know a player ready and willing?
There are plenty of opportunities to slip someone into the campaign early on, so it's not much of a problem.

Made it back home - nothing like an eight-hour road trip to attend a three-hour graduation party...

I think she meant "post on weekends," but the wife and I are about to dip into some adult beverages, and "lost on weekends" may be apropos too!

That does make more sense.

Just a heads up that I'm going on vacation starting on Wed AM, returning next Mon AM. I will be camping at a music festival, and will do my best to check in at least once a day so that Kung doesn't hold up the game. There are cell towers around, but there will be a lot of people using the towers, so there just might be times where I can't load the website. If that happens, please feel free to bot Kung as necessary.

Actually if I do need to bot Kung can you give me a list of his skills, and show which ones you spent your skill points on?

All of this is in his profile here; do you need it separately instead?

Did you put them in Acrobatics and climb?
No; Perception and Swim. The numbers inside the parentheses (0) or (1) show how many ranks I've put in the skill. If I need to make changes to the profile, please let me know.

Dorgan, you need a new avatar. :)

No changes needed, I wasn't looking at your profile properly and found what I needed the 2nd time.

GM - when I click on the links in the campaign info (Wormwood map, Harrigan), I end up on the main Paizo discussion page. Strange.
GM_DBH |
OK guys, I know everyone is posting well, except we're all waiting on Dorgan before I can move us on.
I've sent him a PM to ask if he minds me botting him to speed us up. Waiting on the answer.
If I haven't heard from when I get up I'll start botting him and get us moving.

It's kind of tough when the expectation is once a day, and then all the other players post much more than that. He's still meeting expectations, but it feels slower.
Barnabus II |
Probably better to Bot me or replace since once or twice a day is all my current work schedule will allow at this time
Some people get post happy, I think your posting rate is more than enough.

I'm afraid one post a day, in which he didn't perform any actions isn't going to work.
I would rather not lose Dorgan, so I will bot him while he's so busy.
Hopefully things at his job will ease up and he can rejoin again.
What does everybody think about adding one more player so the party isn't so shorthanded when someone is away? I know others have said there will be times they can't post.
Louisiana Jane |
I'm good either way. I know how busy people can be. I am at +9 gmt, so it might seem like my posts are days apart sometimes.
GM_DBH |
Well Kung covers muscle, Barnabas and Jane have arcane.
Jane covers Rogue a bit and Ghilda has divine spells.
Pretty well balanced group, but some more muscle or a pure arcane wouldn't hurt, even a face could benefit you.
I'm waiting on Ghilda, unless everyone is agreeable we'll keep going as is.
Ghilda Seaspray |
Sorry for the delay - watching the US get spanked by Argentina.
I'm in favor of the option that will help us succeed ;)

Sorry if you misread my sheet, but I thought I was the skill monkey?

We've had a nibble on recruitment.
How does the party feel about a Skald? The Barbarian/Bard hybrid from the Advanced class guide.
While tougher than a straight Bard the Skald still gets all the Knowledge and face skills.
Instead of Inspire courage the Skald has Raging song. If you can hear it you can choose to take the Inspired rage it gives you. +2 to Str and con. +1 to will save, -1 to AC.
A Barbarian can choose to use his own rage if he wants, but people using the Inspired rage do not take fatigue when it ends.
I've never played one, and only run into an Orc Skald (who was a pain in the ass) at low level in Giantslayer.
Kungrusdak Nosvunkuk |
Does the "no fatigue" from Inspired Rage apply if I take my own rage bonus instead? Do those rounds count against my daily use?
Either way, I have no objection to a Skald character.
I am about to hit the road for my vacation. As I mentioned before, access to the internet will be there, but it will be spotty; if I'm holding things up, bot me. I will do my best to run Kung myself though. If you bot, Kung will be focused on helping to scout out the ship over trying to influence NPCs. Kung loves fighting and will jump in any time it looks like he won't be fighting alone. He'll be trying to keep the brass knuckles hidden on his person all the time, and the club close at hand when possible. If other PCs are starting to be successful getting gear back from the quartermaster, he'll ask their advice and try to copy their strategy (he's a 7 Int; he doesn't have a clue how to social engineer someone himself).

No, the 'No fatigue' only applies to those using Inspired rage
GM_DBH |
Well, the Skald has been entered, also a Swashbuckler.
Have a look and let me know what you think?
Skald looks very good I have to say, that is because I'm a bit of a traditionalist and like a balanced party. He covers the face role well, has perform skills, and can fight.
I do want your opinions, can't take someone if the rest of the party doesn't feel happy with him.
