Male Human Cleric 5th

Thoven channels energy selectively so as not to include the white lotus

1d6=4, 1d6=5

Male Human Wizard (Universal) 9

Don't know if you rolled for me or not, Seeker, but here's my attack with the rapier

attack and damage (1d20+5=20, 1d6+4=7) I made a mistake on my previous post; attack was +5 but damage only +4

Fighter Level 9

Ardanto snaps the sword down in a curving ark trying to dislodge the torturer's head from his shoulders.

Longsword swing! (1d20+5=17, 1d8+3=9)

"Rrrraaaaarrrgggghhhhh!" he grunts with the effort.

GM

Under the assault of Finn,Ardanto and Daurros the lotus dragon goes down in a spray of blood as silver flames fill the group with warmth and healing. The man on the rack looks releaved "Thank you, oh thank you " he calls

Ardanto is now at 15 hp

GM

Ardanto, thoven

Spoiler:
something about the man on the rack rings hallow for you

Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1

Finn moves over to the man on the rack and unties him.

"There, friend. I'd get out of here as soon as you can, because I think all Shavarath is going to break loose down here. But before you go -- can you tell us if you heard anything about Vanthus Vanderboren?"

GM

" Vanderboren,I dhave dealing's with the Vanderboren's maybe that is why i am here. They wanted shipping information, but I am not very high ranking in the merchant guild I knew very little"

Male Human Cleric 5th

Thoven glances around to see if anyone else felt the same thing about tha man that Thoven did. Unsure, he steps forward to get a better look at the man. His intuition tingles as he asseses the situation

Sense Motive 1d20+8=26 pfogc says it's a DC 20 to follow a hunch and tell if someone is trustworthy.

Male Human Wizard (Universal) 9

Seeker, does the man look injured? Or does the 'torture victim' look healthy?

Fighter Level 9

Ardanto listens to the man speak, glances at Thoven who has the same look of suspicion on his face and then suddenly levels his sword at the "prisoner" "you sir, sound like a liar and a traitorous cur," stepping forward he continues, "these thieving dogs all have a mark on them, prove that you do not, strip to the waist or taste my steel!"

GM

Thoven

Spoiler:
You do not trust him at all

Daurros, the healing which only left the man you killed out would have healed most of his wounds...but he does looked scared

Male Human Cleric 5th

"I'm afraid my intuition confirms Ardanto's suspicions, friend." He talks calmly as he notches an arrow and raises his bow to eye level with the man " Well come now, you best be doin what he says, me letting this arrow loose will be the least of your worries if i let Him loose on you." he tells the prisoner, smiling slightly and nodding his head towards Ardanto.

Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1

Finn looks thoroughly puzzled. "But why would they tie this man up unless he were an enemy? Sir, I suggest you disrobe and put Ardanto's suspicions at rest."

GM

The man smiles, Ablade of pure green energy shimmers into his hand "TOL La Gar" He says as he swiftly plunges the blade into Finns chest22 hP. The stunned Finn falls to the groundHe is at -6 now, and was standing by the man

Init
Lotus dragon=19
Whisper=10
Ardanto=9
Finn=9[bleeding out]
Thoven=9
Daurros=9
Forzakhad=8
Guard=8

Forzakhad

Spoiler:

The words Tol La gar, are quori for then you die

Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1

Ouch! Finn will use an action point to stabilize.

GM

As i missed the quote I will allow thoven a readied attack with his arrow.

Male Human Cleric 5th

Thoven lets loose the arrow. attack 1d20+4=20, damage 1d8+1=8

"Damn you Bold Deceiver!"He exclaims as he stands his ground and channels energy, leaving out their enemychannel 1d6=4

GM

,map for everyone

whisper moves into the room slashes the man with her blade5hp

Male Human Wizard (Universal) 9

Rapier w/ HoA (1d20+5=14, 1d6+4=10)

male Kalashtar Shaper 2

After hearing those words the Captain muscles his way forward into the room. With an unusual amount of hatred in his voice Forzakhad growls to the man in front of him, "You have done enough evil tonight."

Mind Blast at the Soulknife (2 power points as I do not have Overchannel yet => Will Save DC = 15)
Mind Blast damage (2d10=8)

Fighter Level 9

Attack on the scum bag who hurt Finn! (1d20+5=23, 1d8+3=9)

"You Bugger!" Ardanto yells as he attacks the man, he looks so angry that he may start frothing at the mouth.

GM

With whisper hovering over Finn, Forzakhad forces himself into the room as Daurros try's to hit with his rapier only to miss as the man doges aside while Ardanto slices into him. Seeing Forzakhad his eyes widen as he feels the pressure of the mental assault, only to smile and move toward Forzakhad dodging blows and moving like a phantom he thrusts his blade into Forzakhad 14hp your now at 4 as guard moves closer but is to far to make it into the room

On to round 2

Your map

Male Human Cleric 5th

Thoven silently curses himself for not listening to his intuition....

This could get ugly... He thought

two channels,excluding the enemy 1d6=4, 1d6=5

Fighter Level 9

Ardanto takes a 5 foot step north east (assuming north is up on the map) to make room for Guard and to cut off the enemies route to the door. "Prepare to die scum bag," he screams as he cuts at the man again.

Round 2 attack. (1d20+5=15, 1d8+3=8) One higher than Daurros, we are testing his AC. I have assumed Whisper is not threatening him, so I have not included a flanking bonus.

Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1

How is Thoven channeling energy twice?

Warforged Fighter 2 / Incarnate 4 / Ironsoul Forgemaster 3

Guard, on his way into the room, readies his halberd, shouting: "I can not help you out here!"

Male Human Wizard (Universal) 9

next attack w/ rapier (1d20+5=24, 1d6+4=8)

Critical confirmation and additional damage (1d20+5=22, 1d6+4=9)

Not mincing words, Daurros mentally commands his rapier, driving its point home in a telling blow. Wow ... who needs a fighter?

hmm...can i do that? I cant recall really, if not, then one channel, and replace second channel with Thoven saying something about guidance of the silver flame and casting bless.

As much as I'd love to have you do both the channel and a spell, I looked it up (table 9-2, page 135 if anyone cares to double check me): channel energy is a std action, so you wouldn't be able to do two, or cast a spell (unless it was a swift action). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news ...

scratch that, one channel and an attack, if i can do that.

attack 1d20+4=17

damage 1d8+1=7

Fighter Level 9

You are allowed one standard action and one move action in a turn, Attacks, Spells and Channelling are all Standard actions, so you can do one or the other.

Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1

How much healing did the channeling do? Is Finn awake again?

If Finn is awake, he withdraws.

Male Human Cleric 5th

Sorry guys, been dealin with some different systems and i'm a little rusty on the rules admittedly, Thoven just channels energy.

GM

Sorry guys sometime Saturday my Hard drive crashed. I have just now got up and running. Give me a few hours or by latest tomorrow to get back going,

GM

Whisper strikes at the man but misses as he easily doges her blow.Ardanto moves behind and slices toward him only to have his opponent duck under his blade. Thoven channels the silver fire of his faith healing his allies, then fires his bow at the enemy only to have his arrow deflected by the blowing blade.Finn regains awareness and crawls from the battle.Daurros dancing blade seems to dig into the enemy deeply and Forzakhad again assaults his foes mind. Guard then moves into the room

Then the enemy with reflexs like a cat and the luck of the gods he springs under guards arms and around Forzakhad putting a foot on the wall , runs up the wall and flips behind Daurros. with a savage glee he slices at the wizard7 HP

Took Forzakhad action for him, and by the gods the dice gods love this guy

Map at the start of round 3

Male Human Wizard (Universal) 9

"Arggh! You bastard!" Daurros directs his rapier back at the man ...

Rapier attack and damage (1d20+5=21, 1d6+4=6)

If he can manage it and Forzakhad will clear a space, he'll take a 5' step back after his attack.

Warforged Fighter 2 / Incarnate 4 / Ironsoul Forgemaster 3

I don't get an AoO when he leaves my threatened area? too bad...

"Come here if you want to fight!" Guard shouts after the enemy.

Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1

The gravely wounded monk refuses to give up; he moves back slightly, draws his longspear, and stabs at the deadly attacker.

1d20+4=22 1d8+4=9

GM

Guard tumble with high rolls is evil, Finn unless you move he is well out of your range as he is now in the hall past Daurros

Male Half-elf Monk 4/Sorcerer 1

Oops...forgot to check the map.
Finn shakes his head. In his delirium, he imagined attacking the foe with a spear, but that was clearly impossible. He summons up some arcane power from within the depths of his soul and sends it in a dazing burst at the enemy.

Cast Daze, DC 11

Fighter Level 9

Ardanto looks around confused, "Where did he go?" Catching sight of the man in the corridor he delays his actions hoping for Daurros to make room, "Daurros, get your butt back in the room."

GM

Anyone else :}

Warforged Fighter 2 / Incarnate 4 / Ironsoul Forgemaster 3

There's nothing I can do, or is there?

GM

Not much in the way of melee no.

Male Human Cleric 5th

" You're Faith Must Not Falter!" Thoven declares before placing a hand on the captain's shoulder"We shall defeat this foul worker of Inequaties!"

casting protection from evil on the captain

Warforged Fighter 2 / Incarnate 4 / Ironsoul Forgemaster 3

Guard looks after the enemy, when he suddenly feels Snem in his mind 'Let me help.'
The tiny blue spark moves away from the warforged and attacks, mostly unseen.

Attack and damage (Soul blast) (1d20+5=19, 1d4+1=3)

male Kalashtar Shaper 2

The Captain whispers, "No. You won't get away! You will STAY!" and with those words a ball of ectoplasmic goo shoots at the fleeing man with the psychic knife in his hands, propelling Forzakhad a few steps back.

Entangling Ectoplasm at the Evildoer
Ranged touch attack (no save, entangled for 5 rounds, if the goo hits him)
ranged touch attack + action point (1d20+2+1d6=21)
GOTCHA!
5-foot step backwards please.

GM

Whisper stays back to protect Finn as Ardabto yells in frustration. Thoven infuses Forzakhad with the power of the silver flame as Daurro again brings blood from the enemy with his blade and steps back. Forzakhad reaches out with his mind entangling the hall with wispy tendrils of pure thought, a small spark comes from Guard, pain seems to pass the enemy's face as if struck. Forcing his way though the wisps the man stabs at Daurro 5 hp. He looks to Forzakhad and says " Da mol halza , to ali'daz"

Map

Forzakhad

Spoiler:

You can't kill me traitor

male Kalashtar Shaper 2

"Novult tibi vitaj, erazjone, sed quod tu zijoni."

Seeker:

Spoiler:
I don't want your life, aberration, but that what you know.

Warforged Fighter 2 / Incarnate 4 / Ironsoul Forgemaster 3

Finally having the opportunity to attack the enemy Guard lunges at him with his halberd:
Overhand chop (1d20+4=17, 1d10+6=10)
Snem moves out of reach but attacks too, again unseen.
Soul blast (1d20+5=25, 1d4+1=3)
Confirmation and additional damage (1d20+5=15, 1d4+1=2)

Probably not a critical, but the damage rolled... ah well.
Swift action: relocate essentia to soulspark familiar. Attacks are now good alignet
