Would you two mind if Thaddeus walks in and makes a quick comment? I don't intend to get him involved or seriously interrupt the event, I just had an idea for his reaction to all of this.

It's definitely given me a better appreciation for the Improved feats; I think I'm going to have to make a fighter/brawler now and try some crazy combat maneuvers.

Heh, not likely. Thaddeus has no interest or desire to prove physical superiority over anyone, except those trying to kill him. And that's just self-defense.

Grunyn would consider it an honor to teach the Master of the Eldest Horn, it wouldn't be a matter of superiority at all; it only somewhat is with Mutt, and that's mostly because he's physically intimidating. Irorians are only concerned with betterment over the self, not over others. Or at least that's what Grunyn thinks.
Edit: I've also cemented the idea in my mind that Grunyn will forever view Thaddeus not as Thaddeus, but at Old Horn's master; it wasn't intentional, but I keep referring to him that way, so apparently the character took over.
