"Buncha ingrates!" the succubus server growls to no one in particular as many of her co-workers quit after the robbers escape with the tournament's grand prize. "Buncha spineless, worthless.... This place ain't done yet! I ain't done yet!" As she starts to pace, the pointed tip of her tail snags against an overturned chair, causing her to stop and glare balefully at the offending piece of furniture.

"An' why the hell am I still wearin'...THIS??!!"

The blonde-haired hostess storms off into a back room, emerging a few minutes later wearing a plain white blouse and snug-fitting breeches a sparkling gold in color. She seems surprised but pleased to see that a few folks have remained at the Gold Goblin to consider her boss's proposal.

"Good to see you lot have some spine an' decent business sense," she says with a grin. "Don't believe I've introduced myself--Meghan. Meghan Goldknickers, to some. Thanks for hangin' out to hear ol' Keypaw's--er, Saul's--business proposal. He's poured his 'eart, soul, an' most o' his gold into fixin' this place up proper. 'Twould be a cryin' shame were this incident to ruin the poor man's dreams, eh?"

Aster shrugs, standing straight. "I guess. It feels better to have a job offer than to gamble, anyway. Even if the interview process was... difficult.

She rubs the spot on her stomach where the crossbow bolt hit her and grimaces.

"So what's the job?"

Larkspur lands on a nearby table, elated with the coins he's managed to catch from the air. He carefully counts the five gold coins over and over again, eager to recount the profit. After a moment, he glances around him as he realizes that things have quieted down. Realizing that he may not actually be allowed to keep them, he pulls his head close and puts the coins under himself, as though pretending he'd never had them.

Bluff: 1d20 - 12 ⇒ (8) - 12 = -4 I went ahead and included the penalty for far fetched lies, considering how obvious he was in catching them.

Suddenly trying to distract from his own illicit intention, he pipes up as well "Gold? Gold...knickers? That's a wonderful name for someone with a job! I'm definitely willing to hear more if it leads to more coin.

"Ah...I ain't entirely sure what sorta job ol' Saul has in mind for ya'll...or for me, come ta think of it...," Meghan says slowly. Freed from the compulsion magic, Sully mutters a long string of curses when he realizes that he's lost a substantial portion of his winnings.

He heeds Saul's request to remain at the Goblin. Not out of sympathy, or even for the pay, but because he is quite intent on tracking down anyone who'd have the temerity to rob him.

Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 10

Seeing Larkspur ineffectively attempting to hide some of the chips Sully had involuntarily parted with he approaches the loud bird, extending a demanding open palm before him.

"I believe you have something of mine. Hand it over."

Ryssa was glad it was over. She was a bit puzzled by Saul's offer and request.

While not one to look a business proposal with much wariness, and the temple of Calistria didn't really care what a cleric did in her free time as long as it didn't endanger ones fellow worshippers and the temple and didn't go against the teachings of the Savored Sting, the tiefling was still curious.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

She also was wondering if the job offer was to get Saul's money back. She really wished she had been able to interrogate the criminal they had captured before he had been dragged away.

She did pat Sully on the shoulder, telling him, "Ah don't worry about it sugar. You still have a great deal of the majority of your winnings. You still won an impressive amount of money so no use in crying over a drop in the bucket. I'm getting Saul wants us to get his money back."

When Meghan introduced herself, Ryssa smiled and hissed a bit as she introduced herself to the Gold Goblin waitress, "Nice to meet ya Meghan. My name is Ryssa, a priestess and sacred prostitute of Calistria. Came here to see if I could earn some extra money, with most heading to help the Temple of Calistria, the House of Silken Veils for taking me in with with I was younger. A shame about that. Hope things turn around for your employer. I'm thinking here y'all that Saul is going to ask us to get his money back for him."

December 26th Update

"Glad to see you're all getting along."

Saul had finally returned with the drinks, somehow balancing enough for everyone, even the people that didn't ask or said no. He also passes around some potions of cure light wounds to those who suffered any damage. With everyone served, he started laying down the details for everyone to see.

"I'll get straight to it. I'm kinda f$$$ed. That last shindig was supposed to put the Golden Goblin on the map, and it turns out I attracted a bit of the wrong attention, though in my defense that ain't hard to do in Riddleport."

He chuckles to himself a bit.

"So, I find myself short on staff and with some possible enemies. I'll admit, I was part of the criminal underground until my fateful injury, and though I'm trying to go legit, it seems my shadows still follow me. But here's the thing....there's still coin to be made."

He looks to all of you, a roguish smirk on his face.

"Before you leave tonight, please stop by the front desk. I've instructed Larur Feldin to refund you entry fee and cash out your remaining chips at 150% value. But if you're interested in making even more coin....then help me stay legitimate. I don't want to have to throw myself to one of the crimelords like Clegg Zincher for protection services, I even suspect that Clegg was responsible for hiring Angvar for tonight's attempt."

"I'm offering you all to become junior partners in the business, to work as specialists for me. You'd help me run the business and get a weekly salary of 10 gp, plus a cut of the weekly profits."

"So.....what do you say?"

Taton grunts, leaning a bit on his spear. "You'll have to check with the temple, but if they're okay lending me out I like money, and I like sticking it to crime lords. Zincher especially, I owe him a little payback. You could say he made me the man I am today." There's definitely a story there. Ryssa might know something about it, and anyone looking at Taton can clearly see the fact he's only got the one eye visible.

"Had you considered allying yourself with the temple? I realize it's not the most obvious connection, but we are a powerful force in the city, and we have a protection force to rival most of the underworld rabble." Being an obvious example, Taton gives at least a little impression of the sort of protection that can be offered.

Ryssa nods in agreement with Taton's reasoning.

"Indeed. I'm a priestess of Calistria, so having the temple as an ally would help in giving you some protection. I will have to talk with Lady Pamodae first though, but I can smooth things over for you with her. I know her...quite well."

Ryssa smiles at that last statement.

"Back to the matter at hand, I don't see why I can't be a junior partner in the Golden Goblin. As long as you don't do anything or make me do anything that the Savored Sting would see as an affront against her or her faithful, then I would glad to help you out. Would you also like us to see about getting back your money for you as well? That might go a long way in drumming up some more business for you, darling."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 Holy smokes! And ugh! Now, I start rolling great rolls! Where was that roll back during the battle! Also, I'm trying to give Ryssa a sort of Southern belle accent. :)

Larkspur reluctantly hands the coins he caught back over to Sully, grumbling under his breath about what Aster had said about maybe getting to keep them.

His tone shifts quickly when Saul mentions getting paid. "Oh yes. Oh yes we will! Aster! Tell the nice man with the money that we will take it from him!

Aster sighs and shakes her head at Larkspur's enthusiasm. She wasn't certain yet if this was a good deal or not, but whether she liked it or not, he was in charge. At least a job is better than gambling.

After a moment, she turned to Saul and tried to look more excited than she was. "I suppose we're in as well. Although I'd like to know a little more about what the job would entail, if you don't mind."

She pauses, and then turns to Ryssa, "Thanks for that healing spell earlier. It's been some time since I took a blow that ugly that quickly. If we'll be working together, I hope I can return the favor sometime."

December 26th Update

Saul shakes his head to Taton's suggestion of allying with the temple.

"Maybe its hubris, but this is my second shot. After losing almost everything, I need to prove to myself that I can back to the top without relying on another organizaiton that'll I'll be indebted too. Maybe that's foolishness, but a man's got his priorities."

He smiles at Ryssa's offer.

"There's plenty of jobs to be had, so I'm sure you'll find something that suits your talents. As for the robery, in a city like Riddleport I'm afraid even if we track down the thieves the money would be long gone. Instead, I want to focus on moving forward."

He nods as Aster and Meghan chip in as well, happy that everyone seems to be intent on joining.

Saul calls in the remaining staff and lets them know of the situation. He then gives you the "grand" tour of the facility.

You find most gambling operations on the first floor: the cashiers cage, casino floor, counting room, night vault, the bar "the Goblin's Tankard", Public Privies, cellar entrance, kitchen, Atrium, etc. On the second floor are more personal rooms for Saul such as: Records, Dining Room, His personal room, His Office, dressing room, and staff quarters. Int the basement you'll find the main room the Arena takes most of the space, the lower level bar "The Red Room", the kennel, and the infirmary here.

Saul has agreed to give you free board here in the private apartment next to his own. Inside, you find two sets of two bunk beds shoved against the wall, a pair of wide wardrobes, a small table with three chairs. The entrance to a small privy is veiled only by a curtain, and two overstuffed chairs on a wolfskin rug before the hearth. Given the lesser staff's quarters, this is actually very good accommodations.

It's decently late, but there's still time to run to the shops if you'd like to purchase something. Otherwise, feel free to chat before going to bed.

December 26th Update

Over the next several days, a few things occur.

You notice that you get a bit of recognition in the streets, some you recognize from the tournament, and others you've never met at all. Though, it does come to your attention that Saul is going out of his way to tout your names, possibly a business move or a genuine favor of sorts.

Then there's the strange blot in the sky (mentioned at the beginning of the adventure). You haven't experienced it yourself, but you hear rumors of random metal objects becoming magnetized among other random effects.

As for your new positions of junior partners at the Gold Goblin, you get to know the rest of the remaining staff pretty well. Larur Feldin seems to act as a manager of sorts, and while his gruff dwarven demeanor is a bit off-putting, he personally thanks you for your efforts during the robbery. His time is often out recruiting new staff members. Hans and Beyar are two sturdy human males that spend the majority of their time at the front door serving as bouncers. They have an enjoyable sense of humor, though Hans is a bit handsy trying to pat the asses of female staff. That probably doesn't go over well. Lastly, there's Bojask a human male who spends most of his time wrangling beasts in the basement for the twice-weekly arena fights.

Saul himself has been a bit sparse as of late, running from one errand to another. As such, most of your orders and tasks come from Larur.

So...if you want to work at the Gold Goblin, how do you help? Here are some examples of possible skill checks you can perform. If you have a suggestion for something else, please run it by me first.

Each Sunday, the Gold Goblin’s Profit Rating can change.
After Saul makes his weekly Profession check to influence
profitability, each PC gains a bonus (or a possible cut in
pay) as indicated. Remember, the PCs’ weekly pay is 25 gp
at the start. As they accomplish missions for Saul, he might
give them raises. If a Pay Cut exceeds the PCs’ weekly pay,
they do not have to pay Saul the difference—they merely
don’t make any money that week.

Profit Rating Weekly Bonus/Pay Cut
–4 –20 gp
–3 –10 gp
–2 –5 gp
–1 –2 gp
0 0 gp
1 +5 gp
2 +25 gp
3 +50 gp
4 +100 gp

The Gold Goblin’s profitability is ranked on a scale of
–4 to 4, with –4 indicating failure, 0 indicating breakeven,
and 4 indicating success. Currently, the Gold
Goblin’s Profit Rank is at –1; in order to raise it to 5 or
above, the PCs must accomplish weekly tasks to shore up
the business. In addition, certain key events that occur
during the adventure can give the Gold Goblin’s Profit
Rank a bonus or penalty as well. Every Sunday, Saul (or
whomever runs the business after Saul’s out of the picture)
makes a Profession check (innkeeper, gambler, or tavern
keeper), applying the Gold Goblin’s current profitability
as a modifier to the roll. He also applies any modifiers
earned by the PCs during that week to the roll as well. It’s
a DC 20 check to increase the Gold Goblin’s Profit Rating
by 1, but if the check fails by 5 or more, the Gold Goblin’s
Profit Rating drops by 1.

The following skill checks can influence the Gold
Goblin’s Profit Rating. A character must accomplish that
particular skill’s requirement at some point during the
week, and at the end of that week he makes the appropriate
skill check. Granting Saul a +1 bonus on his Profession
check requires a different DC for success depending on
the skill in question, but if a PC fails this skill check by 5
or more, he actually imparts a –1 penalty on Saul’s weekly
Profession check.

Bluff (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day cajoling citizens and
tricking them into visiting the Gold Goblin. If this roll
is failed three times, the character’s spreading reputation
makes further Bluff checks automatically fail unless he
successfully Disguises himself.

Craft (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day and 10 gp to create
eye-catching advertisements.

Diplomacy (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day managing the
help and greeting customers at the Gold Goblin.

Diplomacy (DC 13): Spend 4 hours a day convincing
citizens to stop by the Gold Goblin.

Intimidate (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day working as a
bouncer at the Gold Goblin. Failure by 5 or more indicates
a customer at the Gold Goblin picks a fight with the
character. The customer is typically a Riddleport Thug or
Thief, but can be a more dangerous foe if you wish.

Intimidate (DC 20): Spend 2 hours a day threatening
customers of competing game halls that if they don’t
check out the Gold Goblin, something bad will happen.
After 1d4 such weeks of this tactic, the other game
halls embark on similar campaigns, at which point
this check can no longer increase the Gold Goblin’s
profitability, but if someone doesn’t make the check
anyway, the competition imparts a –2 penalty on Saul’s
Profession check.

Perform (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day performing for
customers at the Gold Goblin.

Profession (gambler) (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day
working as a croupier or dealer at the Gold Goblin.

Spot (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day looking for cheaters at
the Gold Goblin.

Finally, a character can give Saul a bonus to his
profitability check by donating gold to the cause. Every 50
gp donated grants Saul a +1 bonus for that week’s check, up
to a maximum of +5 for 250 gp.

The Gold Goblin is open and staffed, and you all have the run of the day. You can assume you can work at the Gold Goblin and still have plenty of time for whatever.

How many different jobs can each PC take on? And how many checks do you want us to roll? (Daily? Weekly? By the hour increments included in each job description?)

Meghan's Potential Jobs:

Bluff (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day cajoling citizens and
tricking them into visiting the Gold Goblin. If this roll
is failed three times, the character’s spreading reputation
makes further Bluff checks automatically fail unless he
successfully Disguises himself.

Diplomacy (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day managing the

Diplomacy (DC 13): Spend 4 hours a day convincing
citizens to stop by the Gold Goblin.

Perform (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day performing for
customers at the Gold Goblin. (I'm thinking this would be as Announcer/Ring-Girl at the Arena.)

Profession (gambler) (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day
working as a croupier or dealer at the Gold Goblin. (This is something Meghan would enjoy.)

Perception (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day looking for cheaters at

December 26th Update

For now, it'll be once or twice a week just to cut down on math. AFter a while, I'll provide passive bonuses for continued good rolls. Please stick to one unless you're sacrificing your freetime to take extra shifts, then you can pick two.

Not wanting to stray too far from the Gold Goblin (fearing a run-in with a certain enemy), Meghan pours all her time and effort into turning the gambling hall into a success. She takes on two weekly jobs:

1. Diplomacy (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day managing the help and greeting customers at the Gold Goblin.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

2. Profession (gambler) (DC 15): Spend 2 hours a day working as a croupier or dealer at the Gold Goblin.

Profession (gambler): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Once the Arena's ready for business, she'll likely switch out managing and greeting for announcer/ring-girl duties.

Wow, the missing sleep is getting to me. This was supposed to be here.... <.<

Anyone who want's to contribute work to Goblin, feel free to make the rolls as posted earlier.

The first night after the tournament you all are either milling about the gambling hall or working. The hall is filled with laughter and music sprinkled with the occasional cries of defeat or squeals of victory. But it comes to your attention that there's a commotion occurring at the front.

Stools are being thrown, patrons pushed, and cards and chips scattered as six men become unruly. You all recognize them as surly patrons from the cheat the devil tournament, and also remember them not doing so hot.

"THIS PLACE IS A SHAM!" one bellows, wobbling a bit as he smashes his empty bottle against the wall.

"WE deMAND A REFUND!" another cries angrily.
[Retroactive scene End]

One of the men drunkenly yells.

"This sham of a gambling hall thinks they can steal our money and get away with it?!"

Looking a bit closer, you realize that these fellows were some of the disgruntled losers who probably lost too much at the tournment before being cashed out after the robbery. They probably feel slighted that they didn't have the chance to rewin their original fee back.

There are some guests who look visibly uncomfortable from the outburst, and some whispering is starting. From Meghan's trained eye, she can spot that some folks might be gathering their chips to cash out soon, a bit put off by the turn of events.

Ryssa rolls her eyes a bit and hisses, not at Taton, but at the unruly gamblers.

She decides to see what happens first before she steps into the fray.

If things start to turn ugly...:

The tiefling cracks her knuckles as she steps forward to try and calm the situation, saying a silent prayer to Calistria to help her out some.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 This is to assist Meghan's diplomacy.

Ryssa talks to the people informing that such behavior isn't allowed at the Gold Goblin.

"I can ensure you ladies and gentlmen," she says stopping to stick out her forked tongue with a deep hiss for dramatic effect, "That if you want to whine and complain, that's fine, but I draw the line at throwing a tantrum and trying to trash the place. You're welcome to try and win, but I can guarantee you that Calistria does not tolerate sore losers. So, you can do one of two things."

She holds up her right hand, balled up in a fist as she continues, "Option one," she unfurls one finger, You can leave and find somewhere else you can play that will let you boohoo and whine like children who don't know how to behave. But by doing so, you tell everyone that you rather trash gambling houses, and I bet good money that no one will want you three miles from their establishments, and where will you get your fun then hmm?"

She then unfurls a second finger, "Or option two: You can act like the grow ups you are, sit down, and continue playing and don't throw anymore tantrums. Do so, and I might be willing to toss a few extra chips your way. Now, I'm sure that fine, upstanding citizens of Riddleport like yourselves will choose option two as you don't want to cause anymore problems for yourselves or others correct?"

She grins, which shows off her snake-like fangs.

If Taton resolves things, then Ryssa will nod her approval and smile.

December 26th Update

The rowdy group of men immediately stop, cowed by Taton's subtle threat. It also seems to have an effect of immediately sobering them up.

"Look," one man steps up, taking a calmer approach and speaks in a softer voice. "We just got the rough end of a bad deal. Can we at least get back our initial door fee?"

Meghan gives Taton an appreciative nod before turning her gaze back to the troublemakers.

"Well, since ya asked so nicely, I'll go ask the boss about it. While I'm gone, why don't ya clean up the broken glass an' other mess you've left behind, eh?"

Meghan then heads off in search of Saul and asks him about the possibility of refunds for the six men.

December 26th Update

You find Saul in his office, going over some of the books.

"What?" he asks incredulously. "Asking for a refund? They gambled it away legitimately before the interruptions, and besides. If word got around we were weak willed enough to offer refunds, we'd never here the end of it."

So the clear answer is no, but the group of disorderly men look hopeful nonetheless.

Meghan nods grimly at her boss and then returns to the frustrated customers. Though she tries to commiserate with them on some level, she truthfully reports Saul's decision on the matter. She points out that the loss of the prize money to the robbers has put a serious dent in the Gold Goblin's finances, and that it'll be a struggle for the business to survive: they can't afford to refund everyone's entrance fees.

I doubt circumstances have changed enough to warrant another Diplomacy check, but I'll roll one nonetheless.

Ryssa assists Meghan in calming the men. She even throws in a few of her own chips in the hopes of appeasing the men.

"Calistria may not like sore losers, but she has been known to be a bit generous in handing out some good luck from time to time. However, should you display your previous childish tantrums again, I can ensure you that you'll be lucky to escape her wrath for your ceaseless whining! So, please be respectful of the Gold Goblin and your fellow players, and remember to have fun!"

She smiles and gives a wink to the gamblers.

December 26th Update

Between the threat from earlier, and Ryssa's gentle nudging, the former-rowdy men leave. They grumble. But they leave.

Okay, if anyone wants to make any work rolls that hasn't done so, Feel free to do so.

===========================================

You all are taking a breather from the work, getting some water, maybe even a little alcohol. I mean, you are junior partners after all. Where's the fun if you aren't allowed to drink on the job?

Your conversations are interrupted as Larur Feldin enters the room carrying what seems to be a small barrel, not even opened.

"Apologies," he starts as he sets the barrel down and pulls out hammer and chisel, "if I came off as unfriendly at first. Wasn't sure if you lot were worth your salt yet, even after the robbery incident. But I've watched you work and take to this place. You want to see it succeed, maybe to line your own pockets, maybe because you really care. Regardless, you've all put in effort, so I've made my mind to do the same."

He notches a hole in the barrel top and sticks in a spigot. Setting it on its side at the edge of the table, he lets it flow until his own mug is full of rich amber liquid that smells of sweet nectar and memories. You can tell that this liquor would be several shelves higher than top shelf and must have come from Larur's personal stash.

"To good business and good relations," he says simply inviting you all to fill your tankards, glasses, and mugs.

"That's right kind o' ya, Larur!" Meghan gushes, taking the dwarf up on his offer. The drink gets the young woman's tongue wagging. "Yeah, I wanna see this place succeed...wanna make it me home, if that's possible. The streets ain't safe for a weak lil waif like me! Cheers! To new friends an' business partners, eh?"

Taton takes the drink offered and quaffs it, almost immediately. The burn does not seem to faze him... much. "Business." More the terse sort, he wondered where the group had gotten to. It wasn't like them to be absent for so long. Or was it?

December 26th Update

Business goes on for a few more days, until Larur brings to your attention that the strain of the missing staff is finally starting to show. The bouncers are getting restless, standing around most of the week, and there's a few other positions needing to be filled.

Thus, it comes as no surprise when one morning you find Larur calling you down before the day's business to introduce two new members of the staff.

That's your queue new characters.

"Oi, seems like Sully an' Aster 'ave moved on...eloped, do ya think? Heh--anyways, I'll miss 'em both. They was good nuts. Aster's squawky bird...not so much, eh?"

As the three current employees are brought into the presence of the new blood, Meg sizes them up silently. Appearance-wise, Meghan's a slightly disheveled dirty-blonde human female with a hint of mischief in her eyes and grin. She wears a white blouse and knee-length pants of a glittering gold color. A rapier hangs from her hip and a dagger's tucked in her boot.

Again, welcome to the game!

"It did not particularly surprise me. He seemed to like her, she seemed the innocent type. Maybe she... well, it does not bear mentioning. Let others speculate." Taton is a tall man, rugged of feature where once he may have been smooth and beautiful. He carries a weighted spear, and dressed in functional armor. He looks generally the stern sort but occasionally cracks a smile.

One of the two strikes you as being particularly... different.
He has deep, red-gold hair that looks like fire, bronze skin, and well-proportioned features. He's of average height and build, yet seems frail and tough at the same time.
His eyes, both a strange, red-brown color, have flames reflected in them. In one eye, these flames are white-gold and are burning gently, while in the other eye, they are red-black and burning like a wildfire.

He's wearing long, flowing red robes, like a wizard's, that seem restrictive, but also appear to allow a wide range of motion.

“Greetings,” He has a gentle, soft-spoken voice, yet still captures your attention, “I am Tural. What might your names be?” He's both confident and nervous at the same time, as though he's not entirely certain he's in the right place.

"To the Gold Goblin! May Calistria smile and bless us all!"

Ryssa toasted the group in the hopes that they gain great fortune.

Now to the introduction of our new party member!

"Ah, greetings I'm Ryssa, a cleric of Calistria, and...wait...you're not a tiefling are you?"

Her question is not the usual disgust or discomfort that tieflings usually feel towards those who are descended from more 'heavenly' bloodlines, but is instead filled with more puzzlement. She flicks out her forked tongue a few times, scratching her chin in interest and curiosity.

Elea looks the others over carefully before saying anything. She already had time to study the weird man next to her so her focus is solely on the others. She wondered who, beyond the rugged man, could hold him or herself in battle.

She herself looked rather fierce and on guard, as if expecting combat to break out at any second. Several small scars line her face and hands and she misses the very tip of one ear. She wears what looks like padded armor, though the way it falls suggests it's more than that. On her back she carries a large, round shield and on her hip dangles a rapier. Those who observe her more closely can see another hilt sticking out from her belt at the back. While she stands there she plays with what looks like a very heavy knot on a short rope around her right wrist.

"Name's Elea. Good to meet you." She continues sizing them all up and does so very openly. After all, one needed to know what one could count on and how to react if one got stabbed in the back.

So yes, she is suspicious of everyone. Blame growing up as a slave

"Oh wow, this is fun! I never knew that running a gambling house would be so entertaining," she says, flicking her forked a tongue at a bit while winking at one of the serving girls.

She nudges the Halfling, smiling at her.

"I got to say Elea, you have a keen eye. Be careful now, someone might catch your eye," the tiefling priestess said swaying her hips a bit.

To our two new players, Ryssa is a flirt and tends to flirt with everything that walks on two legs and has a pulse. She also speaks with a Southern accent. So, if you get uncomfortable with her flirting with you, let me know and I'll turn it down some.

Elea cocks an eyebrow at Ryssa's comment. Wasn't catching someone the entire goal of this? She just nodded and grinned, not quite sure what the goal of the comment was.

Elea isn't used to flirting and doesn't quite get it, as you may have noticed.
