Nivea is used to taking orders so is really open for whatever it is the group wants to do. Whith my shield I could take the brunt of whatever we face on the other side of the door.

with a +5climb and being familiar with the building does Sileth feel confident that he can climb to the 2nd floor? Or will he need the help of a ladder?

The climb to the second floor is fairly easy since it's just a normal building.

Technically isn't splitting the party if you are entering the same building by different ways... but yes, I am almost regretting the plan already.
If it happened to be a small building and you entered in a way in which the separate groups were mutually supportive, then yes, it would not split the party. However, this plan does not at all resemble that situation.

I think the images go "pop" only if the enemies actually hit them. It would be 11 HP damage, and his 5 images still there.
As soon as he is missed by the second thug he disappears and reappears next to him, nearer the door, using his Sudden Shift domain ability.
I am reasonably sure that I understand the rules well enough to say 'pop' when I mean pop. You have to hit within 5 of the AC of the target to pop an image. Given that your AC is a high and mighty 17, you can trust me on the 'pop'.
