Anyway, I'll grab improved Nerves of Steel. I think it allows me to take 2 wounds before actually going into my proper wounds, effectively giving me damage reduction. :)
Two more advances then we're seasoned. There's four advances on each rank.
Nerves of steel doesn't let you take more damage, but it does let you ignore the penalty from taking wounds. With improved nerves of steel you can ignore two points of wound penelties, but you will still go down if you get more than three wounds.
Ah okay, I guess the extra bennies advance is for that purpose then. Still, I've put it in my profile now, so I guess I can just push through with sheer determination, ignoring the penalties to attack from two wounds.

How much gold do we have each? I haven't sold anything, but I don't know. I would have thought we'd have found at least some gold by now. :p
You found some in Gaedren Lamm's lair, you missed the loot in the slaughterhouse (alas, it was buried under the pig's trough), but I did say you would be paid for serving the Korvosan Guard, you can collect your wages from the Citadel at the end of every week, let's say... 100 gold! I'll be kind and say that Kroft authorised your first payment in advance. :D
Also, everyone gets all their bennies back every time you advance. Hurray!
Once more Mirian had tried to drown her concerns in wine. This time even more than before. Eventually she had been thrown out of the tavern when she was unable to pay.

Okay, so I'll say in Mirian's clean up time, El bought himself some adventurer's clothing and the worlds biggest cake to pig out to!
...Of which he could only eat half, due to his shrunken stomach from not eating properly for so long. :p

How much does the adventurer's clothing and cake cost? I have 500gp to play with (3 of us, 12 bars of gold worth 100gp each, 4 bars each +100gp for payment from Kroft).
I don't think there's much else he can buy, but then I'm not familiar with items in Savageworlds, so if I buy anything, just give me the equivalent. :p
I don't think you can buy health potions but could be wrong, though El wouldn't buy them anyway. though he might buy gauntlets to hit harder. Wouldn't do much for him though as it's probably strength + 1d4, which is what he already does with his edge.
Oh forgot to put my level up, I have planned most of the character to Heroic so. Just follow the chain down :P

Also since Vlaka left, we got 165 from the raids each. El got 100 gold from his fees. I got 200 from the reward and the others got 500 each.
So something like thus far, in addition to whatever you had at the start:
Mirian: 665 gold
Elegad: 765 gold
Kimiko: 365 gold

You seem to have a few errors in your build though. Rasing your stats to d6, d12, d6, d4, d6 requires 7 increases instead of six (unless my math is wrong). And raising a skill to d12 requires 5 increases instead of 4.

Ack...facepalm...I did indeed count d4, d6, d8, d12...corrected now
Apologies in advance. I am moving house in the near future and am overwhelmed with stuff that needs doing. I am going to have to temporarily postpone this game (and the other games I am running) until the move is complete. Internet access will be spotty and I can't guarantee I will have time to give these campaigns the attention they require. Will post again as soon as everyone is settled in the new place (hopefully not long after 08/09/2013).

That's cool, I know that pain. I just moved into a place on Friday man have I been busy.
Ah, and I got a new job 5 weeks ago and we're going live with Customers tomorrow!
I'm not even feeling remotely ready, but the pay's good for where I live and it'll be a good stepping stone for hopefully getting into the gaming industry (got the links, just need employment exp and a break!).
Will at least give me some time to get more things done I guess. :)

Well last I remember I did whisper something into El's ear, so we'll see the reaction to that at some point! But yea, tentatively waiting the return of our GM as the game has been quite fun thus far.

Thanks for being patient while I went through my first major GM burnout. :s
I got carried away and took on too much stuff (running three games, playing in two) and just exhausted myself. It got to the point where posting felt more like a chore than something I actually enjoyed doing.
Taking it easy now that I am back online in the new house, playing in DM_Strom's 'Beasts and Barbarians' game, but that's all. I apologise as I know you have all lots of effort invested into the characters, but I am declaring this game inactive.
Looking forward to RPing together again in the future. With three awesome AP's on the horizon, I'm certain our paths will cross again.
