With great speed, Oster suddenly turns and charges the trader, rapier flashing!

+1 Rapier, charge, vs FF Trader: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 8 + 2 = 12

Damage with Sneak Attack: 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 6) + 5 = 24

If that lands...

Slow Reactions (Ex): Benefit: Opponents damaged by the rogue’s sneak attack can’t make attacks of opportunity for 1 round.

Debilitating Injury (Ex): Disoriented: The target takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls. In addition, the target takes an additional –2 penalty on all attack rolls it makes against the rogue. At 10th level and 16th level, the penalty on attack rolls made against the rogue increases by –2 (to a total maximum of –8).


With one blow Oster pierces his rapier right through the trader's chest and thrusts it out the other side. A surprised look crosses the trader's face as he dies spitting blood.

Could I have the Will saves from everyone else please.

Their auras are only 30ft and it looks like I'm still at least 40ft away, so I'm assuming I don't have to make the saves. If I'm mistaken, let me know, and I'll make them.

Tatsuo weighed his options carefully. There was nothing he could do to help ward his allies. Moving closer would only ensure he fell under the creatures' madness as well, so trying to knock those less capable of taking a blow unconscious was out of the question. That left him with his wand of acid arrow, which would guarantee damage on a single target but only a pittance. Or continue his use of electricity damage, which would do far more but might fail.

He sighed. None of his options were really all that good. But electricity was still his best bet. He then moved back slightly in case the creatures decided to move forward.

Burning arc -> electricity. DC 21 Reflex save to half

Still having nothing better to help aid his companions, Tatsuo continued on his same course of action, hoping that the others would come to their senses before they spilt too much innocent blood.

@Mem: Unfortunately, Oster does get sneak attack on that charge.
