if it wasn't clear, there are several other members of your clan all expressing ideas at the same time of what they think should happen.

Then I myself as a GM would of broken the lines into either separate posts with an Generic NPC_alias,

i.e refer to this post

or in one post put who is saying what
i.e.
Milo said,
blah blah

Tina said,
blah blah

I will try to be clearer in the future.

Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)

Sorry, I can't Post as much. I'll try as much as I can, but don't be surprised if I don't post for a few days at a time

I will update in the morning, figured someone would have tried to interact with Gorm before leaving to look for his people.

Guys I can't easily move things forward until you decide where to look for Gorm's people. Since no one tried talking to him you have no idea where they are.

Male Human Commoner

I personally was waiting to see if we any knowledge of a healing herb before trying to talk to Gorm, maybe he would be more inclined to help or even lead is there and be a mediator with his tribe but I'll just speak with him real quick I guess.

Something came up, not sure how regularly I will be able to post over the next few days.

Grand Lodge

Attack (base/melee/range) +2/+4/+4 | CMB: +4 | CMD: 14 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +5 | Will: +2 | AC: 12 | FF: 10 | Ini: 2 | HP: 19/19

No problem. Take your time. Hope things work out Browman.

Male Human Commoner

Yeah hope everything is cool.

An idea just came to me. How do people feel about using words of power or elements of magic systems instead of the standard one?

I'd need to read up on these systems before I could decide.

I'd feel good about words of power but I'm not familiar with this elements of friendship magic.

EDIT: Looks interesting.

Male Human Commoner

No idea about either but I'm down for either.

Grand Lodge

Attack (base/melee/range) +2/+4/+4 | CMB: +4 | CMD: 14 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +5 | Will: +2 | AC: 12 | FF: 10 | Ini: 2 | HP: 19/19

I don't know about either and have only just started playing magic-using characters. So, if it's Pathfinder canon or similar (or very simple) I'm okay with it. If it's quite different, complicated and involves a lot of learning, I'd rather avoid it.

Male Human Commoner

I think we should go with Gorm and make introductions but make it clear that he is not our prisoner.

Why are you OOCing in the discussion thread?

FYI the first life/ incarnation is probably going to be over in a couple of scenes. Start thinking about what your character will do roughly through the rest of their lives and what racial traits you think the clan should develop before your first reincarnation. Provide your reasoning as well.

I know what Ayla will be doing....increasing the amount of her genes in the gene pool with her choice of partner(s), and increasing her trophy count from her hunts.
Which means there will be more with her personality traits, as well as physical traits.

Now on traits, will we be also deciding the base racial stats?
And we should keep our lists short, like 5 items, with their reasoning.

Once everyone gives their ideas I will compile a list of 5 options for you to pick one of as a group, most of them will likely be +2 to a specific stat and one racial trait.

Will think on it.

Stats:

Stat Boosted:
Most Likely:
STR and CON - Every Character had 12 or better STR and CON this would likely be passed down to future generations. STR Tended to be higher then CON

Least likely:
INT and CHA - These two stats tended to be the lowest in the group, and with CHA at 10 for most, but INT was below ten for a few characters

Most Likely Racial Stats:
Standard Stats: +2(STR or CON), -2 INT, +2 WIS
Specialised Stats: +2STR, +2CON, -2 INT

Traits:

Low-Light Vision - Jungle Canopy cuts down on the light below making it dimmer, and during the nights there would be little star coming in.

DarkVision 60ft - Jungle Canopy cuts down on the light below making it dimmer or dark, and during the nights there would be little star coming in, and with so many trees in the way 60ft would be more then enough.

Natural Armour +1 - Given the need to survive, a tougher skin would likely develop to protect against wounds and sharp items in the environment, this protection would also help in reducing the chance of disease or poison entering via a wound.

Sexual Dimorphism - There was a difference in the stats, heights and weights of the group. This trend could continue and result in males and females having differing racial traits/stats, along with a bigger difference in size.

Static Bonus Feat(Alertness) - The race would likely be more alert to possible dangers of the environment and become alert to notice them easier

Grand Lodge

Attack (base/melee/range) +2/+4/+4 | CMB: +4 | CMD: 14 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +5 | Will: +2 | AC: 12 | FF: 10 | Ini: 2 | HP: 19/19

Some kind of boost to linguistics or 'nature sense' could be useful.

Right now I'm thinking a wisdom boost. It's a key attribute in our early people's survival what with the boost to perception and survival skills,

Grand Lodge

Attack (base/melee/range) +2/+4/+4 | CMB: +4 | CMD: 14 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +5 | Will: +2 | AC: 12 | FF: 10 | Ini: 2 | HP: 19/19

Our clan name ... 'nus nosen t' ... '
- scholock
- madgar(ul)
- sinnbar
- argyan

Any thoughts/suggestions?

that would probably be a good thing to decide.

I like argayan

Guys, I feel like things are dragging. Is there anything I can do to make things flow better?

Only thing I can think of is moved along.

Grand Lodge

Attack (base/melee/range) +2/+4/+4 | CMB: +4 | CMD: 14 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +5 | Will: +2 | AC: 12 | FF: 10 | Ini: 2 | HP: 19/19

I'll try something proto-bardish.

Grand Lodge

Attack (base/melee/range) +2/+4/+4 | CMB: +4 | CMD: 14 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +5 | Will: +2 | AC: 12 | FF: 10 | Ini: 2 | HP: 19/19

Well, the next appropriate things seems to be to introduce our clan name. I'm not bothered what. Might be quickest if you give us a name, unless anyone disagrees.

Where we are at the moment is starting to feel like a few 'Wine and Cheese' events I've been to. Maybe they could crack open a few gourds of Cauim so I can make a proper fool of myself trying to break the ice.

Grand Lodge

Attack (base/melee/range) +2/+4/+4 | CMB: +4 | CMD: 14 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +5 | Will: +2 | AC: 12 | FF: 10 | Ini: 2 | HP: 19/19

Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for

Ketu pleased!

Charades are always a bit of a gamble :)

So no other ideas for what your clan should get as their first racial traits?

So far, I agree with every racial trait idea here.

Someone rolled a 1d2 for stealth

Thanks for catching that, it is fixed and the shift in locations of rolls gives 2 extra people the chance to act before the birds. The change was edited in.

Grand Lodge

Attack (base/melee/range) +2/+4/+4 | CMB: +4 | CMD: 14 | Fort: +3 | Ref: +5 | Will: +2 | AC: 12 | FF: 10 | Ini: 2 | HP: 19/19

Hi guys,

I've been a bit unwell lately and really don't have the mental wherewithal to keep up with my RPG. Sorry. Browman, could you play for me for a few days - or work things out without me? I hope to pick up start of next week. Feel free to finish this iteration without me. I'm happy to go along with whatever racial traits/clan-name the group decides for the next generation.

Thanks.

Feel better!

So once you finish hunting the birds, there will probably be a bit more RP with the Chell, then a bit back at your own clan. Then on to the next incarnation.

Still waiting on several people to post their actions.

Would people prefer if I just moved things to after you finish off the birds?

I'd prefer the birds finished

How big are these birds? Cause I kinda figured they'd be flying away. That said, yeah, I'd prefer we move on.

Male Human Commoner

I am going to try to continue to post atleast once a day but I am on vacation and some of it will be out in the mountains and I don't know how reception will be. Just letting y'all know.

Thanks for letting us know.

Have fun!

I should have the 5 options of racial traits up for you guys to start debating on within the next day.

Your 5 options for racial traits are:

+2 Str, +1 natural armour

+2 Dex, poison use

+2 Con, healthy

+2 Wis, Low light vision

Human heritage (floating +2)

I leave it up to you guys to decide which one you collectively all want.

1 vote for: +2 Str, +1 natural armour
