Zoey puts on a miner overall, which is just hopelessly too big for her. How do I look? She smiles broadly after putting on the accompanying helmet.

”Get back!” Id cries as he sees the laser burn into Alton’s flesh. He points his antennae toward the source of the blast, trying to sense vibrations from a moving shooter.

Id sticks his head around the corner and with his strong perceptive abilities, he makes out that the laser weapon was some sort of trap, and he can see a motion sensor disguised on the ceiling...

Id beckons Alton to his side, and reaches out to channel healing energy into his wound. He telepathically contacts his comrades. There is a laser rifle jury-rigged to a motion sensor, some kind of crude trap. Can someone take out that sensor?

Oh, Alton, you look hurt.. Zoey says, then turns to Id-Sinitis with her cutest voice and asks Oh, Id, can you please shoot that sensor for me? Hmmm?

Id peeks around to where he saw the motion sensor. I'm not an engineer, I don't know if I can disable it, and the sensors might be too small for me to hit from this distance. If it's a motion sensor, though, we might be able to trick it.

Id bundles up one of the spare mining outfits and beckons his allies. Get ready to make a break for it. I'm going to throw this to set off the laser, then we'll all run past into the next room. Alternatively, if someone has a smoke grenade to block the sensor, that would probably be safer.

6ix maneuvers in some manner (held aloft, piton and space-rope, whatever) to get close to the trap and starts disarming it. At least let's hope he's disarming it.

6ix gets the sensor disabled in short order. Whilst it looks like the trap is now rendered safe, there is the odd thought that if this is a motion sensor, it is possibly transmitting an alarm to more than just the trap.

I'm about to get my first Nova :p This is my sixth running of this scenario alone.

Lacking any beefier comrades to blaze the trail, Id goes in first. I have energy for one spell left, and I'd like to use it firing off some shooting stars at Reynold when he pops up. Although he can't read the android's thoughts, Id recognizes the signal for three bogies. Three is a lot. Any sign of Talbot? Could we possibly catch them in a smoke grenade rather than dissolving into a shooting match? Assuming anyone's got a smoke grenade?
