I also don't know what Outpost is about. I'd like to keep playing, though!

How much resting do we need to do? Somewhat related, I know I can heal with my RP, but what else can I do with them?

Resolve can also be used to stabilize and stay in the fight in one round instead of two, if you're incapacitated.

I would LOVE to play 1-03 before Outpost. If we have most of the same group playing, we could get it started up pretty quick!

I have to say, the SP/HP in Starfinder makes a significant difference. Looking at the SP/HP numbers of our party alone, we are all tankier than we would be in Pathfinder. Have any of you noticed any effects as a result (direct or indirect) of this difference?

The thing I notice most is that it makes it a lot easier to keep going after taking serious damage. In PF you either had to have a wand or had to call it a day after being wounded. Something I like is how it makes damage feel a bit more realistic (to me, anyways); most of the damage you take will come from your stamina (I think of this as flesh wounds like in movies) but once you take hitpoint damage you are seriously wounded (and most likely want to get out of the fight and address it as soon as possible).

I like the idea of SP/HP. From someone who plays both PFS and the FFG Star Wars RPG, I think it is the best of both worlds. I totally agree in PFS taking straight damage can be a huge burden, and yes require constant healing to keep going in a larger (or longer) fight. FFG got around this by having damage mitigation for both Energy and Kinetic damage via the armor. Much like SP, but it works for EVERY hit. SFS I like because its 'soft' hp.

Alright, thanks for playing this with me. I really like the space western setting. Firefly was one of my all-time favourite TV series. :) Give me a few days to get the chronicle sheet ready, and maybe a week to prep ready the next game.

Sorry I've been AWOL of late. Deadlines for a school project that has been an absolute nightmare to debug have been keeping me busy day and night. The worst of it should be over now, but I've been saying that every step of the way :/

But yes, great game! It's been a pleasure to play with you all, I'm already looking forward to the next session! I'd be sorry to see Hakrinag go, but I get the feeling he'll be back before long :) (I like to think he'll still be drinking buddies with Daramak, at the very least (Albans is too snobby for bars))

Also, I know it doesn't affect anything (but hey, it is a roleplaying game), but Albans would have put in a good word for Thron with Abadarcorp. Only guy on the planet who tried to help us out :P

Dear all, really sorry that the chronicles are still not ready. A crisis came up at work this week and things are a bit crazy right now. I just got home from a 16hr day today, and things don't look like they will improve just yet. I believe thingsg will settle by the weekend and I'll get it out then. However, if you urgently need it for a game, holler and I'll prepare them.

But since I'm here, was wondering if you guys want to jump straight to 1-04 instead of 1-03 first. That way, Hakrinag can continue.

For my part, the next game I plan on playing would be with you, so there's no need to rush getting the chronicles ready on my account, at least. I've got no preference as to 1-03 or 1-04, whichever works best for the most people works for me.

I have played 1-04 as well. If you want to do that, I'm signed up for an Outpost game, so it's not the end of the world.

Hey guys, sorry been MIA for more than a week. Fell ill over the weekend. Guess it's the adrenalin crash after the work madness last week. Things are *very* slowly settling back down now. Preparing the chronicles sheets now.

Hudathan, I am really sorry. Due to the long delay I had in starting, I am no longer confident that we can finish by the start of Outpost in slightly more than 4 weeks time. (My usual estimate is 6 weeks.) Especially with Yesteryear's Truth having a starship combat which can slow things down. We can certainly have a go at it, though. Or would you guys prefer to wait till then to start?
