Take it easy, Kargas! ;)
Kellek Increased his Int to 21
His BAB, CMB and CMD all go up by +1.
Kellek is getting 8 skill ranks (+2 ranks each to Fly, Heal, Perception, Sense Motive) 2 background skill ranks (+1 each to Appraise, Profession [Herbalist]).
He gains two new free spells for his book that he's been researching while no one was looking: disintegration, and true seeing.
He removes one point of Con damage thanks to a night's rest leaving him with 2 damage remaining (unless we want to do 24 hours of total resting).
I'm all updated! Took my Wis to 23, added +1 skill ranks to Bluff, Diplomacy, Fly, Handle Animal, Knowledge (Geography), Perception, and Sense Motive.
I can now use Holy Lance an additional time per day.
I'll also cast a lesser restoration on Kellek in the morning.
Con damage removed: 1d4 ⇒ 3 There you go!
Ziva is leveled up, nothing too complicated this time. Fiendish Studies went up to +2, and a extra die of Sneak Attack, and an increase to every save which is quite nice. Otherwise just some adds to her hp, BAB, and a few skill points.
Oh! And increased by Wis to 14 for the Will boost
Bump for Kellek or Colvyn with the scrollcase--Guiness is not good at such things...

Sorry for dissapearing, but I was hospitalized for a pneumonia. I was released yesterday, but still need some time to fully recover. I'll try to get back in the game soon, but in the mean time, feel free to bot me.
And I had COVID. :(
Trying to get caught up but it's taking a while.
@Guiness for your question about loot--liquidation would probably require a trip to Magnimar to properly deal with, but I'm sure we have more than a little treasure collected to tally up.
Narratively, it seems like we'll want to investigate the dungeon complex sooner than later--maybe a single night's rest to prep specific spells.
Totally reasonable. Dungeon first, then see what happens next.
Do we need a rest for spells? I think other than the teleport we haven’t used any spells.
I'll defer to our casters on that.
A quick note, I'm around as normal through Wednesday this week, but we're off to see family on Thursday and won't be back until Tuesday 12/26. My posting rate will be reduced during that time.
1. How large is the Hellstorm Flume complex?
2. What dangers lurk within?
3. Is Sandpoint under direct threat from the dangers within?
4. What does the Hellstorm Flume do/what are its capabilities?
5. Is the Hellstorm Flume functional?
Happy new year, everyone!
I forgot the questions have to be Yes/No, that makes things a bit tougher.
1. Is the complex below a Hellstorm Flume?
2. Are there still active wards within the site?
3. Is the site's original purpose still functional?
4. Are there constructs within the site?
5. Are there there evil outsiders within the site?
5a/5b/5c/5d/etc -> ID what kind of outsiders
Has anyone heard from Kellek or Colvyn lately? I hope Colvyn's out of the hospital now.
Considering our low activity, health issues for some folks, and general loss of momentum, I'm thinking it doesn't make much sense to continue RotRL. Even if we did stick with it, it'd probably just stretch out without being too much fun. Ziva, Guiness, Astrid, are you guys OK with ending the adventure here?
Getting all the way to the beginning of book 5 is a pretty good accomplishment :)
I’d love to keep going, but I understand if others are tapped out.
It's sad to see a campaign wind down early, but in this case it's probably for the best. I hope everyone's health issues clear up and all your other games are great!

Alrighty, that's the two of you who are most active chimed in, so unless Astrid's really looking for a denouement, I think this is where we'll end things. I'll leave this open for a short while so the others have a chance to see what's going on before the game gets set inactive and disappears from their list.

Cellion, thank you for picking up this game when it was floundering and had lost its second or third GM, I forget, and then running it for us for the last...five years? Feb 2019 is when you rescued us, I think.

Sorry folks, back from COVID and a small holiday catastrophe myself. Five books is not a bad run online or in person. Good Game.
