My campaign page refuses to load...
*growls angrily at the campaign page gobbling monster*
GM Mort
For the duration of these bugs, please kick your GM, if its her turn. I thought I was immune to the dot eating monster, but missing out Hirah's and Mr Whiskers's latest post proves clearly not.
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson
this is the first time that new posts in game or discussion haven't shown up on my page. It wasn't only this game, but two other games had in game posts that it didn't show.
The really odd part is that there is one game still on my queue, that I don't play in anymore but the GM hasn't removed me from the list. So it had hundreds of posts in game and in discussion. None of those are showing either...
GM Mort
I've been sending PMs to people when it's their turn, hopefully I'm not irripilating anyone, but I can't see otherwise how people would keep track. Hell, I even lost track for 2 hours and usually I do keep abreast of things ><
GM Mort
I accidentally deleted all my hoarpanther zombies, so I replaced it with a summons token instead.
GM Mort
Also for rules clarification for shopping using summoned monsters:
A summoned monster cannot summon or otherwise conjure another creature, nor can it use any teleportation or planar travel abilities.
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson
Righteous Might gives DR/good. It's just the big one only that gives DR 5/cold iron and good
Ok, that's cool. Not sure what I was thinking. I don't know if it was the righteous might that confused me, or what.
Maybe I just need to sleep better, instead of staying up to read posts...

I don't think bane dmg is multiplied on critical hit, but in this case it makes no difference since its sufficient damage either way.
"Exception: Precision damage (such as from a rogue’s sneak attack class feature) and additional damage dice from special weapon qualities (such as flaming) are not multiplied when you score a critical hit."
Bane is a special weapon quality.
Mr. Whiskers
Alright, I'm even more confused.
How many opponents are there?
I thought there was a single giant and three of those demons, of which one died. Now it sounds like there is a virtual horde of them getting multiple moves.
Mort, could you please be a little more descriptive so that we have a better idea of what is happening? I realize that we will not always know everything, but at least a *POOF* when there is a teleport or something like that and a clear description of how many opponents we are aware of would be nice.
GM Mort
Sorry, I was in class, trying to post on breaks. If I was a little terse, I apologize for it.
The scene was something like this - not quite right but close. G = Greta, T = Tiger, C = Crummock, W = Mr Whiskers, E= Einar, H= Hirah.

Hirah and Einar went to chase the Frost Giant, calling him a coward when he ran towards the door. Then three demons(one enlarged), teleported next to you, with two of them running out of the door the frost giant opened.
Hirah and Einar killed the big demon that was next to you, so there was a clear line of sight towards them(if you could get away without provoking AOOs).
So the map became like this:

Alright, so I had two big misunderstandings.
There were five demons to start with.
One of them had already activated it's ability to grow. That was the one that had used it's AoO and Hirah killed.
Two were near the giant. I wasn't even aware of those.
The last two were near me. AoO against me to trip and crush. On their round, one full attacked and the other used a single attack and (seeing that I was down) moved towards Crummock who is still in delay.
I still don't know where the three (one large and two normal sized) demons came from, but I assume you did things correctly.
I should have just withdrawn. My misunderstanding.
Please let me know if I'm still misunderstanding something.
GM Mort
Teleported in from the other room(that you'll soon find after this). I will try my best to make *BAMF* like Nightcrawler next time I teleport in.
Your understanding is correct. There's nothing stopping creatures from teleporting around, isn't there? The last time I checked there were no teleport based issues around this area either.
Warning to the entire party: Be careful - Mr Whiskers is under a bleed effect and can't stabilize.
Mr. Whiskers
Blind teleport generally isn't a good idea and I'm not sure how they could target Mr. Whiskers location blind, but other than that it should be fine. I would assume they know this area so only I would be likely to hit the miss chance.
The only other thing is weird dimensional layouts that would prevent teleportation. I don't know if they can teleport across that if there is one.
GM Mort
What we're looking at is 3 seperate dungeons, under different parts of the statues - there are teleportation arches linking them even, actually and there's something that even states to actively teleport as part of run away tactics.
Blind teleporting - it happens. I've heard of people teleporting out of the dungeon right smack into the nearest church of abadar when they were dying of a con poison. When you have rounds to live, you don't have the luxury of going to the field outside town.
GM Mort
-8, will be -9 on this round, though technically if you counted the stabilization fails it should be -10, but again Crummock should be able to get to him before I roll his next tick of bleed.
GM Mort
It would because its some kind of healing. If you had regenerate monster ability you're immune to bleed effects.
GM Mort
No.
You're not a troll. Though the way to get regeneration is via this spell and go trollolol.
Its a monster ability, like a breath weapon lol.
Hirah Cheran
There's a metamagic feat that also grants regeneration as well called Yai-Mimic Spell. I remember some some battle royal thread on paizo about a level 15 PC using it to solo kill a Tarn Linnorm, one on one.
Mr. Whiskers
Too bad we are fighting demons.
If they were devils, they might pop out now. "Orders complete, k bye bye!" leaving the one who gave the orders squeezed in a tight corridor and in melee. Make it look like you were following the intent rather than the exact terms until it got the other person in trouble.
GM Mort
No, because of the 1 round casting time. If you started casting last round instead of clawing up demons, yes, but again, Hirah might be dead if you didn't damage the demon so she could kill it, as it would have full attacked her this round.
GM Mort
It is now of paramount importance you remain adjacent to Hirah until she gets healed otherwise she dies instantly. Diagonal or otherwise, its your choice. Amplified rage atm is the only thing keeping her alive.
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson
Man, where are all the extra NPC's when you need them... *Here, open that door right there, never mind that funny writing*
So do any of the smart people have any ideas, about all I've been able to come up with is to cast 'infernal healing' no it won't help, but apparently when everyone was dying it wouldn't have helped and it was still all I could come up with ;)
Crummock-i-Phail
Yeah, I'd rather not risk triggering a whole bunch of traps... especially when there is no guarantee that we will actually find anything beyond moldering bones inside.
Also, we *are* currently Baba Yaga's pseudo-semi-deputies at present, so it would probably be bad form to loot the tombs of other Factors of the Great Crone...
Under general circumstances, though, I find that summoned outsiders generally work like a charm when it comes to needing trap bait ;-)
Hirah Cheran
I'm in favor of Mount myself.
In WotR we would send a house down any suspiciously empty corridors. Who needs trapfinding.
GM Mort
Einar I believe you're down. Out of game, I can tell you, since you guys took a while to open the locked door, so the creature had time to do some prep.
Mr. Whiskers
Three battles where we got stomped. Perhaps we should clear the upper levels and find out more of the situation before diving deeper into this monster-condo of a death trap?
Also, did we get any perception to detect the other sides preparations? They evidently heard us through a solid door.
GM Mort
She heard lots of attempts to pick the lock. Maybe you are missing someone for the key?
I'm not sure what kind of sounds an incorporeal creature would make. Doesn't feel like a banshee that wails, or allips that mutter incoherently, or ghosts that moan and groan with chains.
She also has +19 stealth.
How do you spellcraft something you can't see that is silent? *scratch head*
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson
hhhmmmm I got home from work to put one of my favorite movies in and check my most active game.
Some one at work had said there were nachos in the kitchen. All I could think was "Mmmm, Nachos" so I went to the café and got a serving of Nacho's then went home and put in one of my favorite movies, and a direct influence on my character. Thus the odd little rant.' Only to find him near death from fire?
Wow at least I'm watching 'Hellboy' and eating nachos, or this could ruin my day off.
Mr. Whiskers

I'm not trying to make this a rules argument, just trying to understand the situation.
Picking locks doesn't make much noise, especially when compared to speaking in a clear voice to cast spells. You out of character told us she buffed, which I'm guessing included some spellcasting.
Stealth does not apply when speaking in a clear voice.
You know the full situation, we don't. Just make sure you aren't being so clever that you are robbing us of opportunities to detect and react to what is happening.
GM Mort
SLA to be honest. Which makes it even trickier ><
"A spell-like ability has no verbal, somatic, or material component"
Urks.
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson
I think 'Buri Reborn' is wrong, I think they should stack, that way I get 10 fire resistance instead of just five...
Hey would you let him add the archetype Primalist so he can dump the bloodline power and add a couple rage powers? A really smart person reminded me about that when I was building my gnoll bloodrager...
GM Mort
You can take primalist if you want. Note that book 4 is more easy on the space issue.
