Grung hits the Vrock with Croaker and it puts a nasty slice into the flying demon but it's still alive. The enlarged dwarf reaches around and flings the rogue...unfortunately the aim is off...by a lot. I'm not even gonna take the AOOs for the bending down while be threatened or Desmond flying over a Vrock.

working clockwise being around #1 is Y 55 for starting reference.

The human goes flying a bit too long but over Duncan's head and the platform but he's are falling towards the lava pit. The rogue arms are flailing wildly like a bird as he tries to avoid a magma impact.

Desmond I'll let you roll an acrobatic and reflex check and what happens depends on the roll. My thought is you over shot the platform. The acro check will give a basis to avoid a direct hit with the lava and/or roll out of doing a falling damage. The reflex check lets me gauge if you had a chance to grasp the platform or a stair. For map reference you are heading in the vicinity of AD 63.

Desmond as you somersault over Duncan's head, who is standing in tangled mess of tentacles, you do notice there is large pit at the edge of the stairs and platform. You manage to gracefully land at the foot of another set of steps. The steps appear to be clear but you do see a ghostly figure hovering over the last step by the platform.

*Note there are 4 separate stair cases going up to the platform. The stairs Duncan is on has black tentacles growing from them.

For the Briefest of Moments Duncan considered CHANNELING as a way of Harming the ghostly caster who'd attacked him, however he had Precious few FERVOUR left, that resovior of holy power that quickened his spells and he was sure before this day was finished he'd need them. Right now the spectre was not his primary concern and he was sure Karnog could damage it better than he.

He instead attempted to break the Grapple of the tentacles and if possible move back down the stairs.

Mustering his Mighty Dwarven strength he tears himself free of the Black tentacles and attempts to move to around Desmond AF64 Using his Blessing of Fervour bonus for extra movement

Your figure is sort of lost on the map. It the eagle at the intersection of AA/AB 57/58. It's next to the demon, Nym, and Grung but it's 3 dimensional so you aren't necessarily in the same space.

the green cross represents the black tentacles that cover the enter staircase that Duncan assaulted.

Desmond is launched perfectly at the platform over the lava, black tentacles, and hungry pit. He lands (@ AF 61) right next to the prone high priest (@ AF 62).

Desmond make an acrobatic check to makes sure you don't take falling damage.

Before he does, the lava monster once again lashes out to smack the vrock and squish him good.

Incorporeal (Ex):

It is immune to all nonmagical attack forms. Even when hit by spells or magic weapons, it takes only half damage from a corporeal source (except for channel energy). Although it is not a magical attack, holy water can affect incorporeal undead. Corporeal spells and effects that do not cause damage only have a 50% chance of affecting an incorporeal creature. Force spells and effects, such as from a magic missile, affect an incorporeal creature normally.

The spectre takes some damage Karnog but not nearly as much as you thought it would. It made the save so that is 75 Hp, but because it's incorporeal it take half damage from a spell. 37HP

its two rounds for me to stop him. This round spectral hand next round is really going to suck for him (or either of the other two casters. Move me 15 feet in a direction i can see everyone better.

You have a standard action left. I'll say you took your move with Grung tossing you and you landing. That was a joint enterprise. the high priest is prone at your feet he appears unconscious.

Desmond you see a 10 ft wide pit that is at one end of the platform near the stairs that have black tentacles growing from the stairs. That is also were Duncan was located.

You can also get to the yellow vrock.

I just read the Heal spell again and compared it to the incorporeal classification. I think you are right the positive energy channel would harm him. Heal actually uses the phrase "channel positive energy." That being said, it made the Will save so I don't think it takes any damage because a successful save negates (not 50% damage).
