If as a group you guys want to flee I'm happy to call it. This is the last encounter of the adventure, but I'm worried we've been slowing down a bit this week and don't want to be bogged down in this combat forever.

I went back through to make sure I was not missing any bonuses (I had confused I/we had both Bless and Bless Weapon going), and not going to power attack as I have a Good aligned weapon now. I am up for killing this demon.

Mashita will step forward into the hall, and hold is attack until he is provided a flank.

"Beleg, we need to cut her off!" Maps gestures for Beleg to make his way over next to him.

Maps waits for Kohaki to retreat again, then slides after and uses his healing wand on him again while threatening the demoness with his handaxe.

I'll admit this would be a lot more fun if we didn't need crits to hit, but if everyone else is staying..so am I.

Hailey will store the wand she is holding for now, proudly showing her holy symbol again making everyone feel a bit better (except the demon) and then takes a step forward to stay close to Mashita.

Channel postive energy for everyone(excluding the demon): 5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 1, 5) = 12

-16+12, so down 4 hp this round

Not going to be able to keep this up for long, we either need to start to hurt this demon soon...or chance tactics

Ander is out for the weekend, by the way. May need to bot him.

Kohaki casts a spell, but the magic fizzles harmlessly.

Ander steps north for a better shot and fires his bow once more.

Ander just misses, as does Mashita.

Due to the oddities of pbp coordination I'm happy to let Mashita take the attack even though no flank occurred. However without the extra flanking bonus it's a miss.

The Succubus continues to advance, using her power of flight to hover just above the grease, unleashing a flurry of attack on Kohaki, hitting with the flaming scimitar twice this round, and even connecting with a claw. 14 from the crit, 10 from the second attack and 2 from the claw. So 13 to Kohaki and 13 to Hailey.

Ander nearly cries as the jumbled mass of his companions provides too much cover for him to connect with his arrows.....

Proving that always doing the same thing, always provides the same results, Ander fire another errant arrow.

"Beleg, make Kohaki invisible or something!" Dropping his handaxe, Maps whips out his firearm again, steps east and holds it towards Hailey. "I need you to bless this!"

Observing that he could not get assistance for his attack, Mashita focuses on driving the demon from the shrine as hard as he can.

He steps in to the greased area and slashes as the demon.

Despite bleeding from multiple wounds the Succubs still manages a seductive smile as she speaks in her breathy voice. "How disappointing, I had some special play all set up for your friend. Tell me where he is and you'll have an oh so better time once I win. If not, you'll end up a desiccated little corpse like the heretic here."

She concentrates for a moment before reaching out and giving Hailey's face a disturbing painful caress with her claw. 24 damage.

The succubus seems reinvigorated and happily flaps back a bit keep the grease between her and Mashita

Drawing a dagger in his off hand, Maps circles the demon and fires point-blank.

Beleg's missile fizzles out, making an almost sad whine as the magic disappears. One of his images does catch a flaming scimitar as Beleg moves by. 1 Image down

Maps manages to shoot the demon with a blessed bullet, the succubus's flesh sizzling where the bullet connected.

Bless weapon does not work on ranged weapons, it does work on individual ammunition though, so I'm happy to apply it for this attack though.

Mashita plays around in the grease while Ander misses with another arrow.

Thanks for running Pirate. This was very close at the end, and personally, I think that succubus was a little too powerful for players of this level. We probably should have run. :)

The Succubus assassin 2 is pretty ridiculous. Amusingly enough the DC on her death attack is only 15. (And she just paralyses you anyway, so she can rip your heart out and eat it later)

After a few more moments of this, Beleg finally wears himself out and falls quiet as he follows the rest of the party out of the foul temple and back to check in with Kasadei.
